Just came across your channel,i have a 93 C4 and I replaced my emblems. The easiest way too remove them was with a heat gun and plastic scraper. After you get it off I used rubbing alcohol to clean all the adhesive off.Love your C4 by the way.
Love watching these videos!! I’m 16 and saving up for one of these sexy and beautiful cars and I’m so excited I’ll be able to have one and start working on it when I’m able to drive in a couple months
I'm 34 just bought a 1985 c4 about 3 months ago. I've had to put about 800 in parts because the last owners didn't properly upkeep it. Great news is with these cars the value goes up the more you put into it.. good luck to you! If you can save cash and pay upfront instead of taking a loan. My car was $7,000 I got a loan. If I make my payments for 4 years I'll pay $13,000 so I'm paying my loan off in advance.
Thank you for making these. I seen someone make a video about replacing the headlights with led lights. They are about $50.00. not sure about you but my lights are very dim
Where do you buy or order the emblems? The metal plate that was there, I have one too but I put it aside coz it rattled, great looking car by the way , my 89 is red. Thanx
Nice video bro. I picked up an 84 Corvette recently. It's riding a little rough and I think there could be an exhaust leak and might need the catalytic converters replaced. Sometimes it smells a little bad in the cabin when i drive. Have u had any exhaust issues on your corvette?
@@ReynoldsRides Thanks! Love the vids by the way, just bought a '89 and am watching your videos to see what things i should take a look at to change or upgrade.
That air foil is a waste of money man and switch to a regular air filter cause the oils from the k&n will eventually ruin your maf! There’s a fine wire inside of it that reads the air coming in that the oil will coat as it flows by and eventually throw it off or just kill it. These mafs are super sensitive and the aftermarket ones are never tuned right! The only decent replacement is an original GM and is specific to your year. Just a heads up
I agree about avoiding K&N-type oiled air filters. I also think it's likely that the common airbox mod is a mistake. The Corvette's under hood airflow was designed in a wind tunnel, by engineers who did it for a living. To assume they were stupid just doesn't seem fair.
The air foil is not a waste of money. Here is proof: www.superchevy.com/how-to/engines-drivetrain/ghtp-1304-dyno-testing-7-popular-lt1-engine-modifications. I disagree about the oiled filter. I’ve never had an issue and issues can be avoided with routine cleaning/maintenance of the MAF.
consider getting some led lights for the hood, with led lights you can leave your hood lights on for hours without killing the battery. www.superbrightleds.com/cat/vehicle-lights/ also yous locktight on the bolt hold the tb airfoil in or your engine may swallow the bolt.
Thanks for watching guys and be sure to check out Part 2: th-cam.com/video/f1RKLZkjlVc/w-d-xo.html.

I agree with you, that really is a Badass shade of blue, especially with the metal flake in it. 👍🔥🇺🇲

I love your car. Seeing you restore all those things makes me want to restore some faded and ageing things in my '91 :D
Do it! 😉
@@ReynoldsRides Could I ask where did you buy the metal front and rear emblems? Mine are fading away too after nearly 30 years
Hi mate look forward to seeing what else you do with the corvette, I have a 1989 C4 Z51 in the UK 🇬🇧 and love finding new videos with C4s in
Nice! I am going to be picking up an 89 C4 this weekend.
Good stuff. I’m a big fan of factory paper air filters vs oiled K&N. All improvements👍👍👍😎😎
Amazing difference those emblems make
😉
Nice project👍 about the air foil...unless somebody shows me a before and after dyno test I don’t believe for a second it improves performance.
Thanks and I get it. Some people think the foil helps, some people don’t.
Here’s your dyno test: www.superchevy.com/how-to/engines-drivetrain/ghtp-1304-dyno-testing-7-popular-lt1-engine-modifications.
You can overheat the engine without the front spoiler.
Love this video. Excellent
Thanks!
Nice C4, keep up the great easy to follow videos!
Excellent video, thanks
That one piece is a water deflector to direct water away from the air box for drivers that drive in high water.
Gotcha, makes sense. Thanks for letting me know!

There’s lots of places that sell them. I got mine from eBay.
Nice car color

Hi, could you eventually link the parts that you use in these video please? That would be great! Thank you 👍
Will do!
Are the 211-2 bulbs the ones for under the hood?
How about a video of dropping the spare tire and clean the cover!
👍
How did you get the bose emblems?
Where did you get the emblems and under the hood lights from? I’ve been looking in Canada for the emblems and they cost over $150
