If you have the Z51 option with the select ride there is a service select ride light.

Maybe you need a new heater valve, or the heater core is clogged up. Brittle plastic in a C4 is a common issue. Beautiful country side in Utah👍

This Q is more related to the tape deck:
Have you had any issues with playing cassettes?
I just bought my first C4 (1984) and the auto reverse keeps having a clicking sound and won't play cassettes on ether side.
The one I have looks just like yours.
I've tried to find any resources on fixing it but no dice so far.

Have you removed the cluster by any chance?

Just curious if you’ve thought about getting a small portable camera tripod so you can do some of the work on cam? Maybe that would be too involved but wonder your thoughts on that.

I have one. In some cases it makes sense but, for the most part, there’s just not much to see in my opinion. I don’t think there’s a lot of value add in showing me removing screws or unplugging things for 2-3 minutes of a video. Just my style I guess. Hopefully that makes sense. Good question.

Does the AC blow out cold air. Mine takes about 5 to 10 minutes before the car is cool

I know this is an old video, but do you live in Denver ? I have an 84 C4 that I’m trying to restore and could use someone local who knows these cars (better than myself). TH-cam videos have been great, BUT still having wiring issues and would love someone who I can run things by. Let me know. I’m
Over of E470 and Jewel, east of Buckley AFB. And I’ll pay for your time and help. Several FB post looking for help and no
    Luck yet
