Love this Lennan. You got me writing a very long list for my own practice and pondering how words can limit us; but also if we allow them to; open a world up of possibilities that can be expansive, so long as we don't allow ourselves to be boxed in. Thank u for these thoughts today Xx
UGH Primal LOVE! Witchcraft and magick at large does feel primal. WOO Weather witchery. I've never heard of quixotic before I had to look it up 😂 I should think about this too and make a video sbout it. I think creative/creation and primal would be two out of the three.
Your video seems to almost be the essence of very quixotism in practice (not my prev spelling of quintoxism). (Yes, i had to lok it up 🤓) what a fantastic word, im not sure I've heard it before today. Thank you for expanding my brain again 🌞🌻
I had to look it up too! I found a good description on wiki-pedia, and it's very fitting. I think we need more naïve romanticism and utopianism in the world as it believes like a child might, and that kind of belief is very powerful... Much love! Quixotism is impracticality in pursuit of ideals, especially those ideals manifested by rash, lofty and romantic ideas or extravagantly chivalrous action. It also serves to describe an idealism without regard to practicality. An impulsive person or act might be regarded as quixotic. Quixotism is usually related to "over-idealism", meaning an idealism that doesn't take consequence or absurdity into account. It is also related to naïve romanticism and to utopianism.
Thank you for this chat, I enjoyed it! I love your nightsounds out there. It's never this loud out here. Even out in the woods, it's pretty quiet at night as far as nature out here in the west. I love listening to the night. ❤
Omgsh yes we don’t know what primal beings thought or felt and the way we as humans see them now thru the lens of history and academia is so pretentious ❤

Such power in the word primal, yes!
Musings from the veranda is so delightful, Lennan! Your words are powerful. I'll definitely be spending some time with this. Thanks so much!

I looked it up, too, but the word 'quintoxism' does NOT exist. 🤔🤪😂
@@OfWavesAndWinds probably because I misspelt it , quixotism was what I thought I had typed 😆. Thank you for pointing letting me know .

Awe, thanks. It is such a good word for my practice!

You know, it can be so annoying, but I would miss it if it was quiet. In the winter, when its eerily quiet I love that but not all the time. 🙃
"I don't want to be a being of bite-sized things." Damn, Lennan. I love that!

So true.
