@@erikhancock98569 true but not as much as GU, then Gonzaga was a new roster trying to jell. They have done that now. Purdue was an elite team on a mission in maui, they are still that team.
@@Dragracingduleistyou’re right. It’s not like Purdue beat Zaga with Smith and Edey going off. Loyer only had 2 points. Jones with like 4. Oh and then played Morton for 18 minutes over better players in Colvin and Heide. Purdue improved too
The Zags have to create points off turnovers and not foul Edey especially while he’s shooting. If you’ve got some type of press, I’d use it. Also try running on made baskets by Purdue.
Bring Edey out to defend in the perimeter like they did vs Kansas. Also, Edey is great but a lot of it has to do with being 7"4. Imagine if Timme was that tall? He'd average 45.
You can bet that Purdue goes under screens to defense the pick and roll. That will give Nolan Ryan open shots they have to knock down. If Ryan, specifically, is hitting shots Purdue is going to have a tough time winning.
Great podcast, keep up the great work.
Zags need to create havoc on the gusrds. Edey will get his, but deny the Purdue guards.
I would argue that the Zags are a much better team than when they met them earlier in the season.
Purdue has improved since they met earlier too.

Purdue improved too
Especially with Big Ben Gregg as a starter in the lineup
Both teams are evolving. Few must solve the riddle of Edey. Go Zags!
Groovy. Should be a great game!
Haven't heard that phrase since 1970 😂😂😂
Remember Zags were beating Purdue by 5 at the half in Hawaii and then went 0-13 from 3 in the 2nd half. Unlikely they do that again. Gonzaga can win.
KEEP UP THEE GOOD WORK ANDY!!! ZAGS4LIFE 👊💯🏀
Zags need to bockout Edeny from the offensive and defensive boards!!! Dont worry about his offense play! Block him out!!! Go Zags!
Easier said than done.
If Ike can hit the three, it would pull Edi away from the basket and Watson can sneak in behind for the easy bucket.
1. No
2. No
3. maybe you think about it
Andy you are definately an advcate! You are one of the podcasters out there.
Help me trademark Handton Swatson lol. GO ZAGS!

50.
😂 A 7'4 Timme! That moustache would be devastating!
@@erikhancock98569 😆 🤣
Sort of off the subject, but I’m curious, other than Watson, do you think there will be any other players to leave the program next year?
Yua. No playing time. Won't see any next year either. To bad he has a ton of talent. Better than Stromer in my opinion.
And Ben Gregg has a gimpy ankle.
yep but wouldnt know by watching him
Aweek to heal will make a big difference too
Lil Ben is too tough to let that affect him! Plus he will have another full week to help the healing process!
Defacto home game for purdue in Detroit...after their first weekend in Indy....home cooking!! Lol
Bruh they are the #1 seed in the region of course the games are close to home 😂😂😂
Zags will stay close till halftime, second half Purdue pulls away to win by 20.
No answer for Edey , and Kaufman Renn is as good as any of the zags bigs. Zags will have to shoot lights out and not lose by attrition fouling Edey.
Every team is beatable. Go review 1983 NC State vs mighty Houston.
Gonzaga had a good chance to beat them earlier this year. Up 5 at half but shot 0 for like 15 from 3 in the second half.
@47degreesfishing22 yes, the Zags went cold. Hopefully they are red hot vs Purdue.

In what world is Kaufmen Renn anywhere close to as good as any of our bigs! Even Huff is better then him 🤔
Boiler up
