Nessa's chair looks like it's a fancified version of the Wheelchair Barbie wheelchair, which is probably the best-designed doll wheelchair I've seen. (Lots of doll wheelchairs are designed like the cheap chairs that people get when they need a wheelchair for a few weeks because they broke their leg or something. Wheelchairs that people use long-term are usually designed differently, because there are different needs for those, and whoever designed that Barbie wheelchair knew what they were doing and made a chair that looks like it would actually be usable.)
My bank account is not happy with me for all the Wicked merch I got. 😂 I will say though my favorite item is a one of a kind defying gravity bookmark from Cambridge Satchel
I would love a video about what the industry should learn from wicked about turning a show into a movie! I feel like we have had some musical flops recently so what did wicked get right?
There were these heart pins sold at miscellaneous theaters which the profits went to a children's charity. I jumped on the Wicked train too late so by the time I realized these pins existed they were sold out everywhere! I called different theaters and only one had Glinda pins left. Hope they bring them back for Wicked part 2 so I can have the set.
My whole personality is just Wicked merch. I have the Funko figurines, Target dolls, Amazon dolls, popcorn buckets, water cups, Target sweaters, and probably more things I’m not even thinking of right now
In the musical is the encounter with the wizard non consensual though? I know it is in the book but it didn't seem so from the start of the film, I haven't seen the musical for ages though
@@Mulbert I think the musical leaves that somewhat ambiguous, but I read the book before the I saw the musical, which definitely influenced how I interpreted it.
I preordered all the Wicked LEGOs. I've only put the Figures set together, but I had fun putting it together and there were some building techniques I've never seen before.
The only wicked merch I ended up getting (so far!) are the makeup palette from Ari’s makeup brand rem cosmetics, and the large Beis suitcase in Elphaba green! Wallet was not happy but it’s especially going to come in handy for my upcoming trip!
Had a bit of lol hearing Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime" play in the background as you describe the Wicked pjs XD The mood is certainly right lol The colour changing mac and cheese was a Walmart thing but the closest one I think is in NJ or Long Island
27:50 Roots is a Canadian loungewear brand, and their logo is a beaver. That's the animal featured here! Apparently I should have checked my Roots store at the mall while I was there today, I could have missed out on merch...
There are a few items in my country, NZ, that I found that wasn’t mentioned in this video. A bracelet making kit (not just the beads), a candle making kit and OPI press ons are some of the items I remember
I have the playing cards. Theory11 always makes such beautiful, high-quality cards [I also have a Harry Potter and Star Wars deck]. The only thing is I wish they included Part 2 characters for the Face cards and omitted some they did use.
I have successfully resisted buying any merch so far but I just MUST have Elphabas glasses. Should be arriving this week, haven't got new prescription glasses in years so easy to justify. I'm painfully aware they won't suit me as much as they suit Cynthia but hey ho. 😅 Also... One of these wicked Wednesdays... Can you PLEASE make a video explaining this whole "holding space" thing? 😂
I really like the Beekman 1802 collaboration skincare line. Particularly the masks, moisture milkshake spray, and hand lotion. I got mine directly from Beekman, but I know their products are sold at Ulta across the U.S. IDK where Beekman can be found outside the U.S. Also the green Mac & Cheese was at Walmart, not Target (so the other American super big, you can get anything here box store).
I'm only at the start if the video but my thoughts on Wicked merch so far has been that it feels like the US got so much more cool stuff than us in the UK. Both a wider range of items, and the ones they did have often had more cool design details rather than just an inage from the film slapped on something. Though I have seen a few really nice things here still! Also a lot of stuff that was cool here was clothing items in kids sizes only for some reason... Not sure why they seemingly thought adults wouldn't want things? Also I find it a bit ridiculous that M&S sold out of their Christmas ornaments weeks before the movie even came out - seems like serious understock on their part. And I refuse to pay 5 times the price to a scalper on eBay. Still nice to have some Wicked merch!! I got the defying gravity lyric book and the pop up replica oz book, both wonderful, the loungefly green all over print t shirt, the soundtrack CD, the Elpheba scrunchies from Claires and the noble collection pins and replica hat which is much too small for me but looks pretty cool on nonetheless, I'll just have to pin it in place lol.
I had no idea how much there was outside of the US. I got the Glinda Stanley and I’m still on the hunt for the Elphaba one. (I an not even a Stanley collector but those cups got me)
I have some things from Primark, (including a 7 day gift calender that looks like Glinda's luggage, it's got like tiny stationary things but it's nice on display) I have both bottles of Robinson's (I love squash and the Elphie bottle is considerably more empty, so I'm more Elphie in that regard 😂) straight after the first time I went to the cinema, I went to HMV and got some stickers! I WANT the soundtrack (maybe also the score not sure) and Chistery plush, as well as the Elphie bed sheets from M&S (They supposedly glow in the dark!?) If I don't get any of that, I'm fine with what I already have ❤ Also I collect rubber ducks and I'm so wanting the Tubbz ducks (the price on them!) but could absolutely live without those 😂 *edit somehow forgot* I will say I LOVE Lego, would only want the big figures that you got though. I have a whole group of tabs on chrome dedicated to Wicked merch to see if there's any updates 😅
@@MickeyJoTheatreI know! I was so intrigued by that! They've got a Glinda set as well! They call it a bedding set on the website and I was just like "What do mean by glow in the dark!? How!?" I don't trust easily, so who knows how they look like in reality.
I bought two pieces of Wicked (2024) merch so far: the Wet Brush collaboration Emerald City brush and scrunchie, and the BoxLunch-exclusive black embroidered pullover hoodie with Elphaba's silhouette encircled by "No One Mourns the Wicked" printed on the front. The latter is very comfy, on top of having one of my favorite Wicked Elphaba merch designs. The Roots cardigan was very tempting, and I wanted to get either the Starbucks Wicked green tumbler with runes or the Glinda cold cup with the bubble wand cover-but I couldn't find either of those at the Starbucks locations I visited. I really want the Glinda Squishmallow and the Noble Collection's Chistery plush-even if his eyes are inaccurate, he's adorable.
Ohhh but the Wicked Liberty tote bags... definitely reads Emerald City to me! I desperately do not need any more tote bags but... that maybe... Is the Robinsons Squash the biggest reach for movie tie-ins? Now I want to look out for the most ridiculous items!
I'm not that bothered about Wicked, but I'm a Lego fan so I was interested in your thoughts about the sets. The 'minidoll' style figures are not to everyone's taste, and definitely not mine. They've been around since 2012 with the Lego Friends theme. It was and sort of still is marketed as the more girly versions of Lego. The figures have been used for more girl oriented themes like Disney Princesses, and Wednesday. It's funny, as we've had Dorothy and her 3 main companions (+Toto) in a collectable minifigure series for the lego Movie 2, where they make a little cameo. And the Wicked Witch of the west & some winged monkeys were in a Lego Batman movie set (again a film cameo). I know many Lego fans don't like the minidolls though as they are too different from the classic minifigure model. Plus they don't articulate as much and look too human for the world of Lego. There's of course the topic like with most dolls about the thin, more lanky designs being geared towards girls and the messages it sends to them. On the other hand, Lego have shown diversity with demonstrating characters with disabilities: limb difference, vitiligo, down syndrome etc. Either way, I just don't vibe with them as they don't blend with the iconic minifigure style. Anyway, thanks for letting me go off on this random tangent.
The merch I really want to get are the dolls, the Box Lunch Glinda trunk bag (or DIY one), and a couple of clothing items. Cakeworthy has some cute items. But for most of the goods, I don’t like how it is just making something green or pink as Wicked. Feels lazy to me and there are more characters than just Glinda and Elphaba. Wish they showcase more of them.
Love this - there's so much amazing merch available. Saw some lovely Wicked earrings in Claires (online) which I'd love but am allergic to different metals 😢 if anyone comes across any sterling silver ones please let me know! ❤
I want to get the noble collection keychain. I saw it before this video. I also saw that Funko are bringing out wicked funko keychains and I want the Elpheba one of those. Will probably get both keychains once the funko one is released.
Did you see the build a bear Elphaba bear at Fao Schwartz? It's so cute! I was tempted to buy it when I was there a few weeks ago, but I resisted 😂. I suppose it's not specific from the movie though.
Nessa's chair looks like it's a fancified version of the Wheelchair Barbie wheelchair, which is probably the best-designed doll wheelchair I've seen. I’ve had that Wheelchair Barbie on my desk at work since it came out a few years ago, and I’ll definitely be adding the Nessa doll
I dunno how but the return of movie merch, like the competition of popcorn buckets and everything associated with a movie has returned full blast
When you said that the Elphaba doll you've been gifted has the original website error, I fell over laughing.
My bank account is not happy with me for all the Wicked merch I got. 😂 I will say though my favorite item is a one of a kind defying gravity bookmark from Cambridge Satchel
Nail girlies!!!! Fiyero’s My Mani underneath Oh For Oz Sake is a beautiful glistening winter blue look I’ve gotten tons of compliments on 😍😍😍😍
Ooh! May have to try it out.
I wish I could get that cardigan! It's so beautiful
I love the Bloomingdales Little Green Bear & Little Pink Bear
Mickey-Jo: We've got Wicked tracksuits
My brain immediately: Idina's final performance!!!
I would love a video about what the industry should learn from wicked about turning a show into a movie! I feel like we have had some musical flops recently so what did wicked get right?
Love how you added in the prosthetic ears as a nod to how Cynthia had to wear them because she had SOOO many piercings
Eh?

Barbie Elpheba (and all the others) answering the question "Does anyone still wear a hat?"
Omg a calendar with just Jonathan Bailey YES PLEASE
You reminded me. Many eye glasses companies are now selling Elphaba glasses like the ones in the films and really want to get my hands on one.
Wicked Wednesday!!
Roots is a Canadian brand mainly known for their sweatshirts and pants and leather goods
Currently watching this whilst wearing my wicked / Oodie Collab 😂
I winced when you showed the green elixir bottle as the Monopoly token. Kind of seems like they could have considered that a bit better.

Im a big lego fan, but the wicked sets left me wanting 😮
I am hoping they do more for part 2 because those are the more interesting locations!

The pink glinda drink at Starbucks is soo good
This Wednesday's like, totally Wicked bruh
I have 2 glinda popcorn buckets, the free crown and hat and I bought the cups from regal when I went and saw the film. Seen it 3 times now
Haha as a Canadian can confirm roots is a big brand here
Was hoping you'd mention M&S! Picked up a few things for my niece and was quite impressed. (Adult sizes...?)
I saw the playing cards in hamleys on regent Street early in Dec

14:02 What's with the BEARD in Fiyero's face, Funko Pop???
A great question! I think they're going for stubble but it's too much!
Based on your individual drink preferences, I sense that you are the Galinda and Aaron is the Elphaba in your relationship. "For Good"

where's your wicked car mickey 🧐
Honestly a great question.
Still haven't seen Wicked. Waiting for bootleg
Why? 😅
Are you telling me you didn't get the Elphaba build a bear?!
I couldn't find it! 😭
@MickeyJoTheatre I went to the build a bear in Westfield today and they had a bunch of them, I hope you can find one 😌
Ok!!!
did he get the banned one? I feel like if people still owned it then the resale value will go crazy especially to collectors.
He did indeed!
Hi how are you doing
