Sean Hayes plays piano, talks about powerhouse performance in 'Goodnight, Oscar'

  • WGN’s Dean Richards recently sat down with Sean Hayes.
    Hayes, the former "Will and Grace" star, is three-time Emmy Winner. He is starring in the amazing new play, "Goodnight, Oscar" at the Goodman Theater in Chicago.

    I could listen to Sean play the piano all day every single day, what a great pianist he is!!

      I wish he would put out an album of him playing piano and singing. It would be a hit! Then he could win a Grammy and then on to an Oscar.

    Saw it today- Best play at Goodman all year- Hayes is astounding!

    Everyone I know who has met Sean says he's one of the nicest people. It's great to a see a nice person who is so talented get all the success they deserve.

    I love listening to their podcast! I won't get a chance to see the play, but I have looked up Oscar Levant and I see why he wanted to play him!

    Lovely man, good actor, good pianist. But, let's reserve words like "genius", "incredible" and "astounding" for Brando, De Niro, Bach, Horowitz and alike, shall we? What's wrong with you people? Have you really heard truly great music or seen truly incredible acting?! If Haynes is a "genius", where do you go from there when talking about Einstein and Beethoven? Buy a dictionary.
