Those floor to ceiling shelves are bonks - I left an open layer between top and ceiling to display large lego sets; i figured board games weren't expensive and time consuming enough, because I'm an idiot.

Loved Mike appearing through the shelf like a weird cryptid, amusingly just a little above the game Cryptid. You have some great shelves of games, I'd love to own like a third of your collection, and don't think I could pick a single shelf as best.

Chronicles of Crime is my go to game for when we just want to chill on the couch. We'll cast the app to the TV so everyone can see it, especially when we are searching the room for clues.
Oh. And best shelf is one with Power Grid on it, because Power Grid is on it. Haha.

I found the orginal hay thats my fish buried on the back of a shel at a little wine shop that sold games and let u play them too was a nice find for 15.00 :)

Wow. I didn’t even think of painting the TRex. I did some painting and then I stopped after I got smaller brushes because it took up my gaming time. I just got Disney Epic Alliances and the expansions! It’s not too hard but still has strategy. For me it’s harder than Unmatched.
Want to thank you all btw i spend alot of my time pausing how to vids to check out the shelfs behind the people is how i picked out most of my games that gut feeling that just shouts THAT ONE, also have you all played Plunderer my top 1 rite now of my almost 200 its good even my beginner buddy who isnt that into games was all over it and got hooked.

Yeah decorum is a blast! It seems like it didn’t do as well as the publisher wanted which is a shame, we think it’s outstanding

Perfect timing. The other day, I noticed you guys had 2 copies of Destinies on the shelf. 😂 Guess I'll get to find out why.
Here is an idea for a future video challenge...
Each brother starts with 1 game in their hand and takes turns with a clock counting up.
1st brother puts their game next to any other game and has to give a reason why the two should be together.
If the box does not fit in the space you want, find another spot. (that is the tough part!)
Then take the game on either side of the two as your game for the next round.
2nd Bro goes.
You can call 1 mulligan per game if you are completely stuck, but the time you lost does not get reset. Pick another game.
Play X Rounds. You decide before you start.
Whoever has the lowest time wins.

Yeah! It's neat. They mostly speak Catalan there, which sounds like a blend of Spanish and French (but is linguistically distinct from either, per Wikipedia) because they're right on the border.
We board games players cannot say that we own too many games Nick. We can say that we have not enough shelves for them 😀

Art Decko is a great economic deck builder. I don't think it's high on the variability component as you are trying to just have the most 'money' at the end of the game but the way you do that is easy and satisfying. This one is hard to suss out "how do I do well" in this game but the journey is worth it.

Monopoly... I have a Snoopy one, tokens are cute... but nothing really ties in with the comic. That's the only family game we played. Glad modern ones are a smarter and varied in themes and mechanics 😊
You could make yourself solve all the crimes in a day challenge to get Chronicles of Crime played.

The best shelf HAS to be Shelf of Shem, come on.. that one's hard to beat. (Just.... put Legacy of Yu there!!)
Although Tapestry-The Wolves-Woodcraft is a lovely trio on one of the shelves as well! Thank you for showing us around, collection tours are always so much fun!
Obviously the shelf with the predator donkey is the best... Jkjk Your shelves have so many games I haven't played yet so its hard to pick one! But if I had to choose it'd be the Castles of Burgundy Special Edition, Its A Wonderful World/Kingdom shelf. Also the small box shelf with Point City/Salad, Sail, etc is a heck of a great shelf.

Do you have the Bruce Lee Unmatched? I am also an Unmatched fiend! I'd love to see foil cards as add-ons for your upcoming KS (which I will totally back, my brothers).
We don't have the Bruce Lee, it's the only one we don't have :(. And unfortunately I don't think we can do foil cards. Maybe we can I can look into it, but I have no idea how to get that done lol
What shelves do you guys use? Are they deep enough for the longer game boxes? And they are really tall! Curious what they are/where they are from?
Are those the Ikea Billy shelves with the extension up top?
Indeed they are. So they aren’t deep enough for our games so we’ve removed the backing from the shelves and reinforced them other ways

They are! We like the look of them much more than Kallax’s.

They are great, but they’re not very deep, so board games will stick out the front if you don’t take off the back of the shelf. And if you take off the back of the shelf, they are not stable at all, so you’ll have to seriously anchor them. So they’re not perfect but I think the look of them is a lot better.
How many games do you have in total?
Think it’s a little over 400ish. Haven’t counted in a while

I (Nick) have a good idea where everything is. But sometimes it does take a while to find something if I’m not sure

What is your guess on the retail value of all these games together?
I'm assuming you guys don't have young kids because there's nothing really for them in this cool collection. Even "junk" games like chutes N ladders, candyland, etc. No denying the little ones love those titles.
Mike has a baby girl who is almost 2 so not quite playing games yet. But in the coming years expect us to start getting MANY more kids games
