Thank you for Season 1, Myth! Very cool. As a dude who loves creating all sorts of art and music, I'm really excited to see y'all continuing to grow as creatives and personalities. You've inspired a lot of creators including myself and y'all are one of the reasons why I've been pushing myself to try new things such as this animation project. ARTIST NOTES:
I started this project a few days after Violet had released because I couldn't stop creating these scenes in my head and I had the urge to make it happen. This took me 2 months to make including several delays due to multiple health issues and my potato PC crashing After Effects every 10 mins. And I had to call in a few favors from friends to help color some frames to cut down on time (you da real MVPs, credits below!).
I guess you can say this is:
- a tribute to holoMyth
- a hypothetical look into "what if they had an anime"
- an interpretation of the lore that's been revealed so far
- a look back at moments we experienced the past year with the Myth members
- and fanservice
all rolled into one ED MV. I hope I did them justice!

It feels like this ending song is kind of like Ina reminiscing her life and experiences with holomyth and cherishing every moment of it, while her mind and soul is trapped in the void and her body is possessed by the Ancient Ones. She's probably thinking back on her life with them just before she sacrifices herself to trap the Ancient Ones within the Orb of Nihility floating just behind her (that's not the moon in 1:24) but knowing her friends, they won't just let her do that and will save her.
This theory ties in with the "Holomyth vs Ina" fan-animation that is currently ongoing and makes perfect sense, the only way Ina can make Azathoth go back to sleep and prevent universal oblivion is by sacrificing his only metaphysical anchor to the world, the Priestess of the Ancient Ones, Ina herself. But there's no way Ame, Gura, Calli & Kiara, would allow her to do that.

Yeah, if we thoroughly sampled their pet project the audience holds truth HoloMyth is powerless to the Ancient One. Especially, the idiot God Sultan who dwells in the nucleolus surrounded by pipe and monotonous drums. I believe she is a priestess to Yog-Sothoth
I got chills reading this, this would be a good ending song to Holomyth Vs Ina. The only it's missing is opening song
On holomyth vs Ina what Ame is trying to do is to summon Hope which would link "Caesura of Despair" but still it's not enough to stop the Ancient One... with Ame out of options she decide to turn back time once more, but this time a being appeared before her which turns out to be the council of time... this would tie up season one and season 2 opening would be QuasarCake's Oddloop - HoloEN MV
absolutely love that you cut the song so smoothly. That's so rare to find with fanmade anime openings. I also think it's really cool that you drew their eyes all in their original art styles but they still all fit together.

This proves that Ina is the ultimate anime protagonist. She has the circle of friends, mysterious parents, holds a book and most importantly, HAREM!
Indeed, would that make Calli the Lancer, Gura the Heart, Ame the smartone, and Kiara the Strong one?
I interpreted it as Ina being central to the conflict of Holomyth first season --- she is destined to offer her body up as a vessel for the gods whom she serves. Once they take over, her consciousness would be trapped in an endless nothingness. However, meeting up with and joining Holomyth actually changed her fate --- her friends wouldn't give her up so easily and the memories they made together are pivotal in helping her consciousness break out of the void prison and wrest control back from the gods.
@@numbers93 I had fun reading your interpretation. It's in the same ballpark as my headcanon. Ina is the final antagonist in my headcanon series that connects everyone together in the end through the Ancient Ones (which is why I chose her as POV here). Each girl also starts off as an antagonist vs Ame until they join her one by one and the main cast grows. But I wanted to keep the storytelling a little vague enough to allow interpretations such as yours and its beautiful seeing all these stories come up, thank you

Okay, so I've already watched this like one hundred times by now. It's probably time for me to write just a bunch of the things I've noticed from these really serene and descriptive scenes (and how I can stretch them to make them seem more beautiful than they were intended to be, probably).
0:00 - 0:11 Ina's Bubble
Ina is trapped inside of a bubble. This probably represents dreaming. From all around her, small petals begin dropping and hitting the water below. You see, there are a lot of purple flowers that can represent a lot of different things (see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanakotoba and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Language_of_flowers ). We see an actual full flower at the 30 second mark, so I'll elaborate when I get there.
0:12 - 0:22 Ame's Office
Through a pretty hazy lens, we see the inside of Amelia Watson's office. Firstly, we see a depiction of her dog, Bubba, and her signature magnifying glass. Past the desk, we jump to the back wall/window, where we see a few of our resident detective's cases.
At the top, we look at the symbol of the Ancient Ones, with Ame's frantic "Who?" and many other question marks, indicating that this symbol is what intrigues Ame the most about Ina.
Calli, Kiara, and Gura are plastered with links between each other denoting their positions (we only see Calli and Kiara's, being "Reaper" and "KFP" or Kiara Fried Phoenix). Some other interesting observations: We can see a note signed Yagoo on the left side, with Yagoo himself underneath (he's also blurred out). We then see a birthday letter, and Amelia Buffson right underneath that. I could've sworn that was from somewhere, but I just can't seem to find what stream that was drawn in if any. Additionally, on the right side, FBK-001 or "Fubuki-001" displays the contents of the "glasses are really versatile" copypasta (see: www.reddit.com/r/copypasta/comments/jj7m27/glasses_are_really_versatile/ ). That's lovely.
0:23 - 0:27 Manager's Lounge
We recognise the manager's lounge right here. On the whiteboard, we see some doodles of Omega, Jenma, and J-Chad. As well as a note for the 23rd of April, 2020. This date was actually when Hololive EN announced their auditions (see: twitter.com/hololive_en/status/1253249150533029888?lang=en ). On the chair, we see a katana, nametag, and vest. These belong to Enma, or Ina's manager (see: th-cam.com/video/6k63mnYQrOM/w-d-xo.html ). We also see a cup of coffee and sunglasses, which probably belongs to J-Chad.
0:27 - 0:32 Tori Shrine
This part is where it gets fun. Firstly, we see a Torii Shrine. Now, it's obviously a reference to Ina's Torii gate (both in minecraft and the one that we see at the end of each of Ina's streams). It literally has the Ancient Ones (the symbol) written all over it. It could also be a reference to Hololive's Japanese Origins, seeing as the Torii gate is a piece of Japanese culture (see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torii ).
The scene shifts focus from the gate to the purple flowers. They seem to bare the most striking resemblance to the Common Cosmos (see: www.illinoiswildflowers.info/weeds/plants/cosmos.html ), at least to me. Large petals and no extremely pronounced bud. These flowers are in season from June to November, and judging from the scene that follows after, this is probably when Ina met the other girls (since the girls debuted in late Summer).
Another candidate for these flowers could have been the Violaceae Family of flowers (see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viola_(plant) ). This flower also blooms in the Summer, and also has connotations of bisexuality in Western cultures (it's very tied-in with Sappho). In Japan's Hanakotoba (language of flowers), it represents cooperation.
0:33 - 1:04 Ina's Past
This one is pretty sparse with references, but I still think it's a deep message. Firstly, you have the Hololive girls showing up one after another. While I don't believe the order is significant, I mentioned that this was probably around the time that Ina began to meet the Hololive girls in August.
We then meet a young Ina, the one from Ina's own MV of Violet (see: th-cam.com/video/8ZdLXELdF9Q/w-d-xo.html ). She looks back and the screen fades to the adult Ina walking in a straight line, while more of those petals (which, as I said, are likely memories) fall around her. This is also why the Hololive girls pop up from around her as she closes her eyes in a daydream-trance.
The last scene we see is a railroad-to-nowhere, and Ina as well as her past self standing on it, back-to-back. This railroad probably represents the very linear sense of time and fate that Ina has moved along. Although it's been one whole year of memories, she's found herself changing a lot yet with very little separation from her own past. It's the best kind of growth as a human being.
1:05 - 1:20 So many references
This one is just a line of stream references and a little more right until we get to the end, so I'll just list them out one-by-one.
A line of Hololive gen 1 with EnMa at the back. EnMa was actually a composite character in order to describe all of the EN managers (see: th-cam.com/video/11Oy1smdSbE/w-d-xo.html ). Eventually, though, she was associated as only Ina's manager, and JEnma was created to denote to Gura, Amelia, and Kiara's manager. It's also a nice note that they're ordered backwards from the time that they debuted. Mori, Kiara, Ina, Gura, and Watson.
After that, we get a very cute look at Amelia Watson's full-myth collab, with them being "interrogated." (see: th-cam.com/video/zkbXdXbs8vk/w-d-xo.html )
The next scene is Kiara and Watson playing chess on their Clubhouse 51 Games Collab with each other, and neither of them being able to checkmate (see: th-cam.com/video/fYh57wZAmTo/w-d-xo.html ).
After that are two scenes from their Christmas Collab! Where Calli dons a present from Ina (see: th-cam.com/video/_wW5p3u3k8E/w-d-xo.html ), and Amelia's present causes her to lose it (see: th-cam.com/video/_wW5p3u3k8E/w-d-xo.html ).
The next couple of scenes are very tee-tee scenes of Takamori (possibly from their sleepover collab) and Amesame.
The scene following is from TTRPG Session 2.5 (see: th-cam.com/video/n7VGI7x9F0s/w-d-xo.html ), where technical issues made playing the actual TTRPG an impossibility, but we got some really wholesome moments from it, including this family picture (see: twitter.com/moricalliope/status/1430311718949818370 ).
This finishes with a scene from the Minecraft Summer Festival of 2021 (see: th-cam.com/video/a7CvRf4vFYc/w-d-xo.html ), and all of the girls watching the fireworks at the very end.
1:21 - 1:35 "Epilogue"
In a very beautiful transition, we return to the bubble to see that it's been filled to the brim with memories, Ina becoming obscured in a swarm of petals in the process. The camera then pans down to show the Myth logo, which binds all of the girls together in one beautiful tapestry. The video ends there. A very beautiful interpretation of what Hololive always has been, an orchard of talented people, coming together to create some of the most beautiful moments in human history.

You can tell a lot about Ame on this video: She is researching everyone and has a letter by Yagoo. Probably to scoutt them, also noticeable in the office board with her name.
But more importantly, she is researching the Ancient Ones: She was searching dates, and deduced the ball thingy that past Ina was holding.
She also is the only one looking back at her on 0:49 giving the feeling that she is aware.
thank you for this, others will be able to see what I've referenced pretty much and compare the scenes. i tried to recreate them down to the backgrounds so they'd feel familiar. and it was very fun reading your interpretation.
the flower i referenced is actually Sumire which is a Japanese violet. the petals shown in every scene are from that flower C: i chose the specific flower for geographic purposes (Ina's island being somewhere near fictional japan) but also the meaning behind it fit well. also apparently 'sumi' means ink and 'ire' means container, what a frikkin coincidence

I always kinda viewed Amelia as the “protagonist” but each of the girls are the main characters of their respective arcs and naturally, i always see Ina as the first arc, at least until the council enters the fray

This absolute gem of an MV of "just" 95 seconds of animation, packed with a year's worth of nostalgia, emotion, and happiness, is nothing short of a masterpiece! It's like a humble tribute to the HoloMyth girls, and a gift for all who are part of this wonderful community. Mad respect eufrik, stumbling upon this, other people's works, and many other amazing things this community has brought about just warms my heart. Bravo!

1:20 Ame's face looks worried, like, "I'm the only mortal here, can i make them happy?"
No doubt, she gonna be the first one to die (by old age, if not because of battle or plague).
Kiara would be the 2nd, but she can reborn as much as she can. 3rd is Gura, she probably can live for more than 10.000 years. But Calli & Ina, they're immortals (especially Calli, she's literal personification of death herself).
I think this MV is about fragments of Ina's memories with Myth, long long long time ago. The bubbles represent her past life with Myth, how they spend their life together, enjoyed every moments before they popped like a bubble. Instead of crying and depressed, Ina just smiles, knows that once upon a time she had a beautiful life with mortals she called friends.
eh, Ame can skip around throughout time. She could technically visit Ina millennia in the future. I suppose if you go far enough, Kiara would be the only thing keeping Calli alive since everything else that dies stays dead. I wouldn't think that death could exist after the death of the last living thing. There is a philosophy that the universe cycles back around to the big bang eventually. I think that Ina in that bubble is dreaming, remembering, and waiting for her friends to exist again.
Actually, we dont know if gura is immortal. Shes just long lived, fhe immortals are Calli (death) and Kiara (phoenix), but also Ina by proxy of TAO.

I think what makes this really special is the fact that all the girls still have their own art style, original to their 2D models. That being said, their art styles, while distinct, are merged beautifully here. Excellent work!

The whole thing is a beautiful masterpiece, but I cannot get over how perfect Gura's annoyed expression when she's in the lineup at 1:06 is. It makes me crack up every time because you can almost _hear_ her annoyance in that moment. *_Absolutely brilliant._*

You read my mind! Though I haven't watched Monogatari. I'd love to hear Heart Challenger or EoaL for their respective singers. Unfortunately we still don't have an Ame original song (though we might be able to just take any Hololive song and slap it to Ame's personality), and Reflect doesn't strike me as very ED-like.

After watching Mazumaro's Ina VS Myth fight scenes this honestly really does feel like the Ending to the Myth anime where Ina and 'The Ancient Ones' have huge plot importance.
this is like ina's sealed away after the fight and the bittersweet feeling of knowing that her friends are safe now but she can't be there with them
I’d like to hope that time travel power Amelia is setting up is her last resort because she doesn’t want to erase Ina’s memories despite the calamity the Ancient Ones are creating. Maybe Amelia will go back to when Young Ina first found the book and reassure her that she will meet irreplaceable friends who will always love her. Maybe that will be enough for Ina to fight back against Corrupted Ina, a tiny hope for the future.

For all of you... might I ask you to check out Myxo's animation "999"? It gloriously fits what's suggested here. In conjunction with this animation, I think it fits as the ending to the 2nd to last Episode.

I kept thinking how this is such a perfect ending OST to the bad ending since it also focuses on Ina
Rewatching this for the umpteenth time after Ina’s birthday stream. I don’t think I’ll ever be tired of it, even long after HoloMyth will have gone (which hopefully won’t be for a long, long time) simply because it encapsulates the memories behind their wonderful journey so well. Thank you so much for this masterpiece. I hope you make a new one for Season 2 sometime in the future with IRyS and Council! Long live the Priestess and HoloMyth ❤️🧡💛💙💜
thank you so so much for your kind words. i am hoping to set aside time to do that too later this year. ive got a bit of a ways to go before that happens with my current queue of big projects but i will surely make something similar with all of them together eventually

BEWARE: Personal Headcanon follows. This is kinda sad yet heartwarming so proceed with caution.
_The Dreaming Void_
Ina is the only being in HoloMyth that specifically mentions herself as a "Human" but she really isn't. We have Gura The Megalodon Queen of Atlantis, Amelia The Human Time Traveller, Kiara The Phoenix of Life, and Calliope The Apprentice Reaper of Death, which are all tied to living beings. Without living beings we won't have lost cities, concepts of Time, Life and Death.
The reason why Ina specifically says so is to be with and interact with her genmates and us fans cause she's the farthest from being a human. She's an Ancient One, a being of the Abyss if not the Abyss herself. She is a paradoxical existence of non-existence. She is what the world, our reality becomes to at the end of space and time. She, like the other Ancient One, sleeps and we, the world, our reality exist in her dreams. She wants to intermingle with the living beings but doesn't want to wake up as we would cease to exist therefore she sleeps, she dreams, she made herself into a "human" and made her "dream" a "reality".
So at the end after the world no longer exists, she woke up smiling upon such memories of her "dream" and that's where we see her in the middle of the Void all alone with nothing but a single Violet Moon watching over her(possibly Ao-chan).

i like the idea of ina being "created" by AO-chan as a priestess and all of her memories of being a human an the lore being fabricated by herself to feel like a human as you said, i always thought the lore of just casually finding AO-CHAN had something iffy behind

I feel like slowly but surely the fans are gonna make this anime come to life. We even already have the Ina loses her mind Arc. Man, this is why HoloMyth is my favorite gen, not only are they individually overly talented or creative, their lore is probably the most badass (aside from HoloFantasy).

Amazing work. The scene transitions timed to Violet works out really well. You probably could show this to someone who isn't familiar with Hololive and they'd ask which anime this was from.
So much respect! Ina's song really brings out how beautiful and treasured the memories of HoloMyth were in the first year. The parts that stood out to me was seeing the wings on Ina's clothes subtly growing as she stood back to back; The TTRPG/Gartic Phone group photo was one of my favorites and definitely reminiscent of the Anniversary stream due to seeing all of the HoloMyth girls cheering up Calli/Ina respectively. It really shows that they got each other's backs with love and support, and it's really cool to see.
Imagine Ina is gonna use this ED everytime she has a Myth collab, this is hyped and awesome!!

THE VIBES! Ina really gives off main charactr vibes, Ame feels like the quirky yet most capable person in the group, Kiara and Calli are the group couple and Gura is everyone's little sibling
I think Ina is a good choice for the main character because of her motive of joining hololive. She said that she joined hololive because, while she was fine just being an illustrator and drawing as a living, she felt like she needed to try something new in her life, so she auditioned for hololive on a whim and got in. Isn't that such a main character thing to do?

Idk man I think of it like this right hear me out you know how In other Anime like Black Clover I’m using it as an Example right when there’s EDs Asta isn’t always the one in those EDs sometimes you see all the other Characters perspectives in those EDs the one that IMO has Main Character vibes is Gura just because of her personality she’s bright,playful, friendly and the one who reaches out the most to all the girls even to council or Irys she reaches out she can also be dark at times when she turns into red Gura but she has those protagonist vibes just like The rest of the girls I think this ED is just representing Inas POV and she sang this song idk if the other girls have songs that sounds like a ED but to me Gura is the most flexible from myth and I love all of Hololive I’m not biased towards anyone I’m a huge Ina fan btw but I’m also a fan of Gura
