It’s funny everyone comments about Ted missing, it’s called hunting for a reason if you killed something every time you went im sure they wouldn’t call it hunting! This is a true hunting channel , they show the good and the bad that’s what makes it worth watching…
Gettem next time Ted ! Dont let it bring you down brother. We all miss. Did enjoy the camera work on the Jake's. Never knew you were there. Thanks for the video.
Love what you guys are going right now! after watching your recent videos I saw how you presented your new m2 turkey vest, and I’m super happy about how y’all acted like it wasn’t the only thing out there that works. y’all acknowledged that it wasn’t gonna be something everyone could afford and just left it at that, which makes me want it even more! y’all are doing great keep up the amazing content! 🙌.
I was watching this video last night around midnight. My very pregnant Lab came in the room sat down beside me and started watching with me. She sat there for a few minutes and had a girl puppy. I'm naming it THP.
It happens ! Bird ran off non injured, hunt it happens ! We hate it but can’t let it get you down ! Owe no one an apology! Good luck as we move to our season opener this Saturday here in GA for private ! So freaking ready
If you don't think a turkey will remember, you should read "illumination in the flat woods" I have hand raised 3 eastern wild turkeys. Believe me, they remember!
The fact Ted knew where his red dot was when he missed is a sign he's looking at the sight and not focusing on his target. I haven't been a shooting coach long, but focusing on the target is more important than anything.
I missed a group of three long beards at 10 yards. I asked my buddy. How could I miss a turkey at ten yards. He told me, You didn't miss at ten yards, they were only six yards. Thank God for good friends!
Mississippi turkeys are a different breed. Seen yall boys at chick-fil-a the other day. Growing up hunting public here will make you be a different turkey hunter too. Love yalls videos, keep it up
Jakes are legal here. Boom. Easier to carry out too. I don't think of turkeys like I think of mature deer hunting. Shot a bird several years ago and it went down but got back up and flew off. It had another gobbler with it that pitched off down a small ravine. In a few minutes, he was gobbling again. I set up on him and took him home. Never say never.
Live and learn. He knew he rushed the shot, and knew he pulled off right away. You rush it because you swear they have spotted you and will take off. In reality, you still have a little more time to make a better shot. Love the footage of the jakes. That confirmed you had good cover.
Just wanted to say that you guys are awesome! I have never turkey hunted other than 2 times and I was taken by someone else (Ive only killed a Jake). Turkey season starts for me us in Georgia in 2 days and I’m stoked. I knew nothing about turkey hunting but after watching almost all y’all’s videos I think I’ve gathered enough information on what I need to do. I went and seen where some gobblers were and ran up on another roosted in a tree while scouting. Hopefully I can get my first Tom this season. If I do it will be all thanks to y’all!
I feel your pain Ted. Sometimes I feel like I could teach a class in how to miss a turkey. The last few years I’ve missed more often then I’ve scored but I enjoyed every one, miss or hit. Other than a closeby elk bugle, a close turkey gobble is my favourite sound.
Ted, I'm telling u to get a lower profile red dot ur shooting over them. I've been noticing that since u added that one your shooting and keep your head down! JMO
Tss actually is much more open at closer ranges than most lead loads.. Many Lead loads like lbxr are SUPER tight at close ranges. One of the reasons I shoot tss is for the forgiving short range patterns while not sacrificing Down range pattern density.
I was thinking the same thing, if they was going back to a holiday inn holidome inside rooms with a bar and jacuzzi. But they ain't, they're going back to a tent, so why bother with all that hiking 😬
to all the haters .cast the first stone if you havent been there also. as for me love you guys you show it all and that means its not always perfection. and side note that nick can cook and yes i am jealous!!!! lol
Ted is maturing as a hunter - he didn't get upset and/or storm off (or have Warb wondering if he took the boat!) after that miss. Birds are pretty to easy to miss at 10 yards when your shot pattern is the size of a baseball, not much you can do when they show up on the proverbial doorstep. Can't wait to the see the THP crew bag some Rios in Texas, go get some fellas!
Man with all that work y'all put in to get way back there I know Ted hated missing, but y'all made it I interesting by going back the next morning. Good luck in Texas.
Y’all need to give Ted a red ryder BB gun and make him shoot beer cans a few hours a day, take it back to the basics. I think he shoots with both eyes closed
I’ve missed my share but might be time for Ted to get a 12 gauge, more pellets = more forgiveness especially on those quick shots. Enjoying the turkey tour while I wait on KY season to open, good luck in Texas!
dang, Ted has missing turkeys down pat!
He needs TSS #9 with a factory modified choke.
Perfect out to 40yds
He's gotten lucky on some deer lately, too! Love ya Ted, luck is a good thing.
Ouch! 😂
You hunt turkeys enough, that’s bound to happen
It happens. I missed 7 in 3 years….killed 8 though lol
Man Ted misses a lot of critters 😅
Turkey fever can be as bad as buck fever. That's why it's so fun. Hearing them getting closer in the leafs, gets the heart pounding.
Nick is a great addition to the crew! His cooking skills are top notch!

It’s always 50/50 with Ted on the gun. At this point it kind of adds to the suspense….never know what’s gonna happen when Ted pulls the trigger 😂

Ole Nick carrying the camera tripod like a machine gun tripod made this old Marine chuckle. Guns up!

Ted, my son (in his 20s) does the same thing when he gets tossed into the action when it's slow. Stay focused with a steady bead!
Go get'em!
Ted should go to work for NWTF or TFT , he saves more Turkey lives that they do. #conservation
Was worried about you boys out there with all the tornadoes coming through. Hope y’all were able to avoid those.

Tough luck man. That’s how much luck will be, new to turkey hunting. Season where I live kicks off April 15th, wish me luck!!!!

Ps if y’all ever need a camera man just holler
Fun to watch your improvising! Character & Accountability forged from hunting humble mishaps! Thanks for your work!
I use my old 20 g. 28 in. Barrel. With 3 in. Number 6 steel shot. It takes heads off at 50 yard's.
It's time Ted sees the optometrist, no joke. Love what ya'll are doing ❤️
I want to share a Turkey lease with Ted 😂
Keep your head up Ted! It can happen to anyone. One hunt doesn’t define you!!
Prob should be telling him to keep his head down 🤦
@@csoultrain80 youve never missed? You probably shouldn’t run that mouth behind a keyboard bud.
@@Yaboy_damian sounds like your little 170 lb is running its mouth... Talk about a keyboard warrior Id break you in half
We've all been there Ted
And I am sure it will be there again Good luck in Texas can't wait for the next series of videos
I feel your pain Ted. Sometimes I feel like I could teach a class in how to miss a turkey. The last few years I’ve missed more often then I’ve scored but I enjoyed every one, miss or hit. Other than a closeby elk bugle, a close turkey gobble is my favourite sound.

Atleast Ted has learned when he misses there's no need to windsprint towards the turkey after it flies off
Daggum Ted! You had a good streak of not missing going. Lol get em tomorrow!
I think I would have a go at ditching the red dot. Open sites on a shotty let’s you have more focus down range. Just what I’m thinking anyway
TSS is super tight! It’s not hard to miss when birds are close.
Tss actually is much more open at closer ranges than most lead loads.. Many Lead loads like lbxr are SUPER tight at close ranges. One of the reasons I shoot tss is for the forgiving short range patterns while not sacrificing Down range pattern density.
Love ya vids fellas!!!! Nick, really glad your on the team now! Thank you for your service sir!
Hope everyone is OK with all the storms down there! Be safe guy's!
Love the videos still a few weeks before the season starts in Pennsylvania birds are still grouped up
Ever thought about just sleeping right where you left them instead of hiking all the way out to turn right around and hike back in?
I was thinking the same thing, if they was going back to a holiday inn holidome inside rooms with a bar and jacuzzi. But they ain't, they're going back to a tent, so why bother with all that hiking 😬
Listening to this with ear buds in. Those mosquitoes are driving me nuts. I keep swatting at nothing
As the song goes “don’t miss like Ted”they say if you hunt them long enough you’ll eventually miss a few of them and it happens to the best of us.
@@JimRyser dang Jim, I forgot about that song. 😊if you haven’t missed, you haven’t shot enough - or you’re not telling the whole truth.
Ole 2 shot ted
It’s so exciting to see the hunt that happened this morning! Thanks, THP
I’d take off the red dot and use the bead there just to finicky awesome video brother
Ted gets shaken up. I can relate, brother!
good job, but excrement occurs! frequently. in the turkey woods. we hint 'em for the challenge. love it guys!!!
Man, these “keyboard marksmen” are out in force tonight. I bet some of the chatter is pure envy.
Stuff happens Ted. You will get the next one. It's frustrating I know. I miss occasionally
Need to get Ted a 8️⃣7️⃣0️⃣!! Great video!!
Or a vision test and a pair of glasses.
Everyone misses, turkeys are hard cause you have such a little area to aim at, you’ll get them next time!
to all the haters .cast the first stone if you havent been there also. as for me love you guys you show it all and that means its not always perfection. and side note that nick can cook and yes i am jealous!!!! lol

Maturing?, heck he has just missed so many times he is used to it.
FYI Boys, luna moths can bring $50 to $70 if not beat up. Keep an eye pealed they usually fly only at night.
Man those were some enormous jakes.
Shot me an Osceola this evening boys 🤘🤘💪💪. 2 turkey seasons....2 Osceola's 😁
Man with all that work y'all put in to get way back there I know Ted hated missing, but y'all made it I interesting by going back the next morning. Good luck in Texas.
Those misses hurt even more when you are shooting an $11 shell. Hang in there.
Do Armadillos really travel in bands? Great videos guys. Keep up the good work.
“I say that and it could have been a Whole ban of armadillos!” 😂
You guys should all put in for your Maine moose permit. Would be great for content and is a once in a lifetime opportunity!
Hello guys I am watching and learning from u guys for three years I enjoyed turkey hunting
Ooooo y’all are going to Texas next? Have y’all ever hunted turkey in Texas? I don’t recall…..but man that’s gonna be a dope trip
Ted misses on purpose just cuz he likes for us as viewers to have more footage too watch….thks Ted!!😆😆
Y’all need to give Ted a red ryder BB gun and make him shoot beer cans a few hours a day, take it back to the basics. I think he shoots with both eyes closed
Thanks for sharing your videos and keep them coming please.
Ted looks like he is on patrol back in NAM with that hat on.
Same 2 jakes Ted shot at the evening prior
Ted misses at an abnormally high level
Turkey and deer have a 90% survival rate when Ted is hunting. Guy stays missing everything
99.99%
no kidding
He's terrible. I'm like, no way he missed again? I showed my son the miss, and I said guess who, he immediately said "Ted"
Two shot Ted. He is still my favorite
I’ve missed my share but might be time for Ted to get a 12 gauge, more pellets = more forgiveness especially on those quick shots. Enjoying the turkey tour while I wait on KY season to open, good luck in Texas!
He did use a 12 ga then swapped to a 20 ga with tss which has more pellets than any 12g lead shell
It’s not the gun or gauge…. It’s the shooter lol
Another great one guys!
well ted we might have to start making a calendar for missed shots.
Warb’s hearing seems impeccable
And his calling!
Y’all are awesome! I love you strategies!
No turkeys were harmed in the making of this video !
There were more than two. I saw three fly off !
Ted I missed one Saturday morning at like 20 yards so I feel your pain
I feel Your Pain Ted! Great Video Men!
Ted misses everything!!!!!!!🤣
Clam ted.. We are the same.. 😅😅😅
Poor Ted is a pro at missing Gobblers
Hope the best of luck to all of yall my open season I'd April 18th and may the luck be with me the fans
I missed one last Tuesday still beating myself up but it’s part of it
I think you need to practice your shooting some more Ted. My 10 year old daughter has killed 3 gobblers with 2 shots from her 410. Lol😂
Get him next time 👍
Still a great video, good luck in Texas
Dang it Ted....tough break.
You miss more than the weatherman. Go to an improved cylinder choke and tss 9.5s.
Time for a new Ted Missed song from Jim.
How long are y'all gonna hunt Texas I'd like to show y'all some public land about 2 hrs south of Marshall
Why is it always ted!!! Aim for the neck not the head cause you keep shooting over them. Soon I see Teds up to bat I expect a miss 😂😂😂
Hey do you guys use a green light when you walking in
the walk of shame for ted. you can tell he's hating it
Ted! Maybe you should just stick to running the camera from now on - Hahahahaha! You know we have to give you a hard time. Good luck on the next hunt!
People don’t realize the work that goes into these hunts and videos not to mention the sleep you loose
Poor Ted can't catch a break. Hopefully his luck will turn around.
shocked Ted missed🙄
#thehuntingpublic,
It was the Essence of Bull Frog from Nick that caused the brain fog Ted. We all miss, Don't give up.
I have a request, on intro when you give the date could you please tell us what state your in. Thank you
Winner winner bullfrog dinner,,, get'm in TX.
What is the count on number of Ted misses?? Could be working on a record!😂😂😢
