Huge lesson there. Let them go by. If they don’t see you, you have a chance to bring em back in range. It’s so hard to fight the urge to grab and shoot, lol. Congrats Warb!
The turkey y’all shot footage of in the field within the first 2 minutes was a just a few houses down from me. I been keeping an eye on him lol Glad to see y’all finally hunting Louisiana!
Man them mosquitoes buzzing around had me swatting at them sitting here in my recliner 🤣. Warb " I'm going to lean on you ok" 😂 Awesome hunt, you guys are by FAR #1
I love this behind the scenes look into how yall get to do this and make this content for us.I've been with ya'll since 17 when the buck jumped out of the creek with brush still stuck in his horns. He was a stud and I've been along for the ride ever since.
I've found that the "big name celebrity" hunters always get the kill shot in frame and will pass up the shot otherwise. However, they don't do a good job at all showing the rest of the hunt. A true turkey hunter knows it is so much about the process and not so much the kill. I'd rather the build up shown than the kill shot.
I love it man y’all boys are awesome it would be so fun to hunt with y’all one day the thp needs to have a viewer contest for a hunt with the group I’m sure it would be a big deal for someone to go I would love it thanks for all the great content
Just recently bought the bear adapt and I am thinking about taking it out monday morning. Opening morning here in missouri. I love the bow yall designed with bear. Keep up the awesome hunting I've hunted most of my life and have learned a bunch from watching THP
We actually traded turkey for deer from Wisconsin ! The deer were released in the delta along the Mississippi River in Tensas and Concordia Parish ! They had kinda a blueish tint when they had their full winter coat.
There’s only a hand full of parishes in LA that have good populations of turkeys. Looks like y’all picked one of those. I covered almost 1,200 acres of private yesterday in north east LA and never heard a peep and only found one set of hen tracks. Glad y’all came and hunted though. Glad y’all had success. Figured y’all would.
Welcome to Louisiana! It was a good opening weekend. We killed some birds in that fog too, 4 of them. They won't be gobbling near as much this coming weekend.
That footage at dusk with the gun on the ground had me sayin “dang it!” But it sure was good footage up close. You done good Warb and waited to pick up that gun. Excellent hunt!!
Thank you for the State information shown at the beginning, nice background to the turkeys ' situation. Maybe do this for other states you all hunt..??
Absolutely love the content! Keep up the good work! As a hunter who films and posts their content, I appreciate how hard it can be to do both at the same time!
You boys need to leave my birds alone 🤣😂🤣😂. Glad to see y’all here ! Glad y’all passed a good time !! If I’d known I’d cooked y’all something y’all ain’t never had before !
21:37 love the video. What are y’all using to keep your reeds separated during storage? Sounds like Warb said a toothpick, but I’d be worried about poking a hole in the reed.
Just like pressured turkeys here in Bama, they get tight-lipped. Really mature pressured birds don't gobble much at all. They will come though, and just show up unannounced
Great job guys can't wait for the next video with Ted And Jake 😊 Be in the first part of the season warb We'll give you one rookie mistake don't do it again LOL
When I first started watching you guys (17-18) warb was my least favorite member. Today he is most definitely my favorite. Same goes for Nick. Goes to show you can’t judge a book off its cover nor its summary. Thank you guys for giving me glimpses of peace and happiness through your videos
Jakes owl hoot sounds sophisticated. Almost educated like. Harvard or Yale maybe?😂 Ain’t making fun. Hell I have to use a hoot call. Love the videos brothers! Can’t wait for the next one!
I did the gun grab. Instead of helicoptering out of there like I expected, the bird saw the movement and went to full strut. 15 yards. I didn't know there were mosquitoes in Louisiana?
@@coreytohme9861 Saw a video of a guy trying to do a commentary on his bear hunt in Canada. The mosquitoes were so thick they were going in his mouth while he was trying to talk.
@@Kurtdog63 That stuff will literally drive you insane. I don't travel anywhere without my thermacell. Even a facemask and gloves won't cure it all when they are bad as you describe. And when there's enough that you can see them on the video, you know they're bad.
I know y’all have already hunted Texas Some but y’all need to hunt the Sabine national forest ask around about scrappin valley that’s where we hunt season open April 22
I would rather watch something real like this instead of folks who just worry about the footage and trying to get everything in frame. Best in the business.
Her in Illinois it was youth season and I got my first bird on the 6th and it was a big Tom w/ a 10.25 inch beard a 1.5 inch spur and weighed 23.7 lbs
Congrats on your first, Hope many more to come 👍
@@lonniekiser3612 thanks
Uh oh! You done messed up now! You're "hooked" for life. 😂
No matter where your hunting, the sounds of wildlife waking up early in the morning, just can’t beat it

Where you live
What part of the state rather lol
He seems like he’s ready. Get in there after him!
Get on him in the morning! Or atleast before the internet finds out 😂 goodluck brotha!
That's how I knew where they were.
Man them mosquitoes buzzing around had me swatting at them sitting here in my recliner 🤣.
Warb " I'm going to lean on you ok" 😂

I am so glad to have Aaron back on video
THP at its best. Doesn’t have to be in frame to enjoy the hunt. Thanks for bringing us along.

Agree! Build up to the hunt is what makes it fun to watch.
Listening on ear buds... mosquitos were almost real feeling...
Same! I swatted
Nick quoting Marv from home alone 2 😂 "Wow! What a hole!"🤣🤣🤣 Funniest thing I've heard in a while!
😂😂😂 What a HOLE 🕳️
Classic 😂

Well I'll be..... Finally y'all decide to hunt the boot, dirty south, my home state!!!❤❤❤❤

Man thats awesome!! “They like us down here boy” lol Kentucky opener this weekend… Let’s Go!!

You guys got one heck of a camp cook there Warb. Nice to see you get the second chance on that one.
Jakes owl hoots are hilarious. 😆
Turkey camp with Nick must be a real HOOT. Congrats guys. Very entertaining hunt.
It's always the quet ones that get you. Til you get them. Good job guys !

Awesome job keeping your composure! Congrats Warb!
Stay safe
Cubby
Thanks! You too Cubby!
I sent my 870 barrel to magna-port. The porting made a big difference in muzzle jump with the turkey loads.
That hunt was so immersive I could feel the mosquitos biting me!
The Hunting Public, I can't get enough of your content, so I subscribed!
The music in this one is one of my favorite Mr Jim ryser songs!!! That guitar im diggin🤘🤘🙏🙏

Virginia turkey season is looking good this year yall can come out we got some public and private land just saying
That footage at dusk with the gun on the ground had me sayin “dang it!” But it sure was good footage up close. You done good Warb and waited to pick up that gun. Excellent hunt!!
Telling some of the research was awesome fellas! Keep it up thanks!
Thank you for the State information shown at the beginning, nice background to the turkeys ' situation. Maybe do this for other states you all hunt..??
I’ve been wondering for 4 years when y’all would come to LA! Good luck hunting!
Those skeeters sounded hungry!
Come back for deer season!. We have the Rut from late September til January somewhere in the state. And Pigs everywhere.
Great video, as always! Fill those tags, footage doesn't even matter after that sucker landed in your lap. That's footage enough.
Those skeeters were about to carry y'all away!! Great video. Congrats and looking forward to the next.
Congrats on getting the looker Warb!
Absolutely love the content! Keep up the good work! As a hunter who films and posts their content, I appreciate how hard it can be to do both at the same time!
Excellent hunt gentlemen! Great bird Warb. Nick, awesome video work in the fog and dim light. Great looking stir-fry 😊
Man Nick’s food looks good 👍👍
I like that shoulder rest you are using
The constant sound of bugs was driving me nuts! It is Louisiana though! Seriously, awesome video!
You boys need to leave my birds alone 🤣😂🤣😂. Glad to see y’all here ! Glad y’all passed a good time !! If I’d known I’d cooked y’all something y’all ain’t never had before !
I saw you guys at walmart down here, but I didn't want to bug you. I was wondering when the video would drop.
Ya shoulda said hi! 👋
Winnfield ?
@@Anthony-cg5vd i would never tell lol
Good work boys! We were in Mississippi, Homochito Forest with no luck.
Congratulations on your big bird.
Can’t wait to get out there soon in New England! Good work guys!

Great footage, very enjoyable!
Yall couldve harvested some of those skeeters. Gosh dang they were huge
We all occasionally get caught with our pants down. All that matters is that a tag was filled!
Jim killed the music for this one!

that first gobbler was too cool!
Love the content. Keep it up! Congrats on the opening day bird!
We don't have to always see the shot. The trust is something you can only screw up. Great video.
Great hunt!! Congratulations!!
That’s a woodsmanship kill right there. Great hunt!
Great job guys can't wait for the next video with Ted And Jake 😊 Be in the first part of the season warb We'll give you one rookie mistake don't do it again LOL
My home state!!!!! Y’all should come down for some deer hunting! We got some sweet public land.

Haven’t even watched it yet and already now it’s going to be great ❤

I’m glad you got the bird even if the footage isn’t perfect
I did the gun grab. Instead of helicoptering out of there like I expected, the bird saw the movement and went to full strut. 15 yards. I didn't know there were mosquitoes in Louisiana?
A lot of us joke that the mosquito is our state bird. A thermacell is pretty much a requirement to hunt much of Louisiana and Mississippi.

What Parish yall in boys? Glad to see y'all finally made it to the Sportsman Paradise!
“That’s good, we left the gobbler and the strutter, killed the looker. That’s good.” 😂😂 I love it
Nick saying “Wow what a hole” cracked me up😂😂😂
I’ll be in LA in the morning bright and early. Finally stopped raining
Glad to see y’all in LA ! 🦃
the ‘smashed’ and the point is great 😂😂
Love every video, ready for Ohio to start!!!😊
I would rather watch something real like this instead of folks who just worry about the footage and trying to get everything in frame. Best in the business.
Hunting public footage is superior

Yup that little 20 gage must really kick🤣
Great hunt boys.! Those shorts Jake has on, ? are those his legs or his he riding a chicken.
You boys may have just discovered something with that slow mo pattern of the shot
All I heard was mosquitoes!! No way I would be able to sit still.. lol
