I attended GM Turbo 400 training 50 years ago, speaking of a long time. It’s probably been 20 years since I was in to one. It’s surprising how much I remember! You folks have a lot of trick and upgrades that we could only wish for, back then. I enjoyed going back in time with the two of you! Good job Teressa and heal up soon, Richard!
Richard, my 85 3500 Sierra Dually is a 6.2 Diesel, it has a vacuum controlled modulator on the 400, there is a valve on the side of the injection pump that controls the vacuum to the modulator.
This is why these video's are the best on youtube. Ms Theresa did an excellent job. Thank you for sharing and lets hope for a speedy recovery on your shoulder. Cheers :)

I was gonna ask why Teresa didn’t do the work and Richard be the voice over guide, and maybe a third person to run the camera. Anyway, your time to shine Teresa!
I had my shoulder reconstructed, I remember getting a pain pill in the hospital and it threw me for a loop. Tick one of my pain pills at home and off I went into fog land. Never took another pill. If Tylenol did't help...ate the pain. Therapy will be your best friend. May hurt some at first but the next day gets easier. Nine weeks later was back at work. Had to take it a little easy with the weight but now I have about 95% shoulder usage. The big problem is shaving and combing my hair.......learned to do that left handed. Speedy recovery and do your therapy exercises.
Just had a reverse 3 weeks ago, was off the oxy in 4 days. Prior to that I had a double knee replacement and did both at the same time. That was a lot of morphine and got through that as well. Good luck with your therapy.
I got my Turbo 400 back from Browns Rebuild Center in Billings. $1,450 and no tax because it's Montana. Came with a brand new Precision torque converter, and cooler flush kit. I bought Dextron 6 for it. A Harbor Freight Tranny jack too. Getting the tranny out on a floor jack was easy but going back.. i think a proper tranny jack is best.
Aww man I hope you feel 100% as soon as possible. I ruptured my spleen along with another incident when I was young that caused me a lot of suffering and I hope I never have to go back to a hospital again unless it's to deliver my child. Nobody should have to suffer

My Turbo 400 is getting built in Billings as we speak. $1,450 jobber. It had lasted 37 years in a Military K5 Blazer. Intermediate sprag started making trash. I noticed it during a service. I should get it back in a week or 2.
I know exactly how you feel on your shoulder, I went through the same thing. the pain was just excruciating afterwards radiating down my arm. And that was way back in time 1993. I am old now 61.
I cannot remember what the original name was, but it seems that this youtube channel name changed, and not sure when it happened. I could be wrong, but I think it was called Precision Transmissions, Edge Transmissions, or something like that. But I know its the right youtube channel, since I see and hear Richard in the video.
Great job Miss Teresa! Hope your shoulder heals up quick for you Richard. After my surgeries the therapist had me bending over and let my arm hang free and make circular motions with my arm by swinging my upper body in a circular motion. It helped to keep the joint loosened up and it didn't strain any incisions or anything.
