I love that you included a shopping haul haha. Thanks for taking us with you, I just got accepted to spend next semester in Madrid and I'm really excited about it!
Oh my god I'll be a few miles away in Alicante in September and I literally can't stop watching erasmus related content - do you think everything is going to work out with covid etc?
That's great, I'm sure you will have an amazing time!! Most helpful was having a WhatsApp group with all the Erasmus people, I'm sure your University will have one
Hey! Im about to go to madrid aswell. In what school u were and how are the exams there? Do they still do paper exams or are all online? Also do exchange students need to wait for the official exam period or do the schools let exchange students do exams at end of semester? Nice video:)
Hey! Did you apply with a Spanish language certificate? I wanna do Erasmus in Spain but only have English language certificates (B2 and C1). I could do a Spanish exam earliest at the end of February, but Erasmus applications close by that time:(
Heey, thanks! That's awesome, I hope you will have great time here ♥️ I live in Almendrales which is not central but it's like 15min to center by metro so it's not a problem for me. It's much cheaper than living in central area and doesn't cause much inconvenience. I found my room in a website called uniplaces. You have to pay additional one time service fee when getting accommodation from there, but I wanted to be 100% sure and safe about my room so I was okay with that :)
@@lasmam1999 Thankyou so much for your response! it’s really helpful. I will definitely look on Uniplaces, it sounds great. Have you alsof heard of spotahome & Helpmadrid? I have been looking there as wel but not sure if it’s also that reliable.. Again thankyou🥰
@@tessjanssen4878 I think spotahome is also reliable! Haven't heard anything about the other site, but as long as you don't have to send money to someone's personal account, it's okay. I've heard that many people looked at idealista so you can check it out too 😊
Thank you! :) Honestly, I really like it. I am from a small country and I expected Madrid to be very overwhelming as it is a huge city, but it is not like that at all. I love that by taking a bus you can go to completely different village while technically still being in the territory of Madrid. I don't know if I would want to live here permanently, but for this time it's perfect
Thank you! Nope, I am just starting to learn now on app called duolingo, but I have been using english all the time. It is a bit difficult without Spanish in Spain, but it is manageable
@@lasmam1999 Glad to see that it is manageable, Im thinking about doing my exchange semester in Spain as well and I am learning the basics in Spanish. Where people rude for not knowing Spanish?
@@christinaloizou1328 no, I didn't have any bad experience when not speaking Spanish, maybe because all my friends spoke it and most of the time I didn't even had to say anything 😄If you'll know the basics, it will be fine.

Hey! You can go for a year total, so I went for one semester in two countries :)
