You are an inspiration to me sir, I'm a 66 year old one armed ex coal miner and I've always loved woodworking, log benches, stools, tables, walking sticks wood spirit bird houses. I love trying to do what you do, I have a chinese fordom lol but my problem with both the dremel and fordom knock off is that I'm left handed and the burrs want to run away with me, I just found one with fwd and reverse and believe that will fix my problwm. Thank you so much for sharing your genius with us!
Great to hear you enjoy woodwork and carving. If the bits jumps try to adjust your grip and also less pressure. usually if i hold the hand piece like a pencil it’s jumps often. Few years ago I had an accident since that I only using small carving tools 😁Happy carving and thank you for watching 👍
Just got to say, I've looked at many wood carver's on TH-cam looking for inspiration, and I've yet to find one who's better than you. Thank you for your very interesting, beautiful and inspiring videos ❤
Lajos you know I love your style and details, I just love the way you do eye's I've been working on your technic getting closer lol! I went back to your eye carving video's can't tell you how many times I watched them but I'm glad you have made all theses video's it's a great reference library for sure. Thanks again for making them. Catch ya on the next one.
Very nice wood spirits you did there first time I seen it done like that it would be nice if you could explain why you're going along but if not that's okay I can catch on I have been watching another Carver for like 2 years now but I like the way you do your wood spirits

I absolutely love how you make these pieces of wood come to life right before our eyes. Simply awesome!, would love to know what bits you use around the eyes and for your fine lines throughout the face.
I using diamond set 1/8 shaft. The first bit from right and the 4th. Those two my favorite ones. Thx www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MOI9G6/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000MOI9G6&linkCode=as2&tag=carvingands09-20&linkId=dedcd0a387fcbbfca938b098d74bbae8
Your work is awesome, all the fine lines and wrinkles you add. 35 years as a cabinet maker and always wanted to try this. Thanks for some inspiration. Couple of questions; what size Dremel are you using and what are you using for your vacuum system. Thanks my friend!
Thanks a lot for your videos! They help me learn how to work as an engraver! I know how to carve wood with a chainsaw, but I started using an engraver quite recently!👋
@@carvingandsuch Yes, I agree, working with a chainsaw requires solving some problems!) I live in the city, in an apartment building, and in order to cut with a chainsaw, I first need to load four chainsaws and a tool box into the car, then drive off to a place where I can cut with a chainsaw, and after work I load everything back into the car and bring it to the apartment !😄
Amazing work. Ive just bought myself a dremel and found an interesting piece of wood that would suit itself well to making a wood spirit, and your video has inspired me to have a ho. I don't have the shaft extension, but would you recommend it as being easier to work with than the dremel itself? Also what are you painting the wood with afterwards, is it some kind of varnish? Thanks
Definitely you will need the flex shaft for your dremel. Much better control. Also dust mask. For the finish coat I love to use teak oil. Two light coats. If you have any questions just drop me an email. carvingandsuch@gmail.com thx
Hi, I was wondering what you use to seal your wood carvings. Is wax oil any good? Amazing carvings by the way. and love the detail. You make it look so simple. I've been doing knife carvings for some time, but I'm investing in a Dremel 4250 as I have problems with aching fingers. Probably an age thing. I just hope I'm making the right move as using a Dremel is a whole new ball game to me. I love watching your videos. Keep recording and I'll keep watching. Amazing!
What size taper bit are you using and where did you get it? Also could you please list the size and types of bits you use……Thanks in advance. Love your videos.

Thanks. One more question about bits. Does any sizing vary for different Dremels? Or if I got the 4000 flex shaft with some kutzall bits/burrs will they fit right in?

sandpaper or scotch brittle pad with a mandrel . Works pretty well

Around 20-25 rpm
Как называеться лак и где можно достать,купит?
Muy bello trabajo
Bellissimo come sempre top
Love this!
Прекрасно!
What Dremel is this? I’ve been carving with a chisel set but this would make life a lot easier
Dremel 4000 with a flexible shaft
Thanks. One more question about bits. Does any sizing vary for different Dremels? Or if I got the 4000 flex shaft with some kutzall bits/burrs will they fit right in?
If you got the 4000 the Dremel flex will fit. Get the 1/8 size bits and don’t go over that. Dremel won’t handle that. 1/8 will fit perfectly.
Thanks a lot happy holidays
