I haven’t seen all your earlier travels yet but asia is a hot ticket item for me, namely Japan, Thailand, Singapore and then there's the bucket list of French Polynesia islands, fiji, tonga, Samoa. Some for the sailing channel and some to explore on the other; all of which are steeped in culture, beauty, and selfless people. Many are travellers, but seldom post the nitty gritty of how to get around, the hot spots, areas of natural beauty, customs of the people (so as not to offend or what to bring as offerings) and the best time to visit those areas, eg: the yearly must-see festival. I'm not itching to explore much, can you tell, lol.
Came over from your sailing/travel channel. Traveled through Morocco for just over a month in 2003 (by car). Back then, you could buy a dilapidated 8-room riad for $50,000 and restore it for another $50K. At the time there was a 7-year tax moratorium and Europeans were scooping up riads in bulk. Fascinating country...had my best hammam there. Like all countries, there's a vibrant underground culture, but you'll need to know a (trustworthy) local or someone born and raised there. French helps, too.
Kristina at 8:08 what a reaction orange blossom almond drink, aye, and such a great shot of your pours (chuckle). Also, a little synchronicity regarding "marriage" subject coming up again, perhaps🤔? God Bless John with Kristina🙏🏻🕊💜, Richard🚴🏻♂

THANKS SO MUCH SIMON!!! Oh my gosh, I’m sooooooo excited to share this with you!! It’s like I’m vlogging for the very first time - I’m all giddy! 🥹🥹🥹 Can’t wait to show you the next ep too mate 🧡
Really awesome video. Looking forward seeing more of Morocco. That Mosque looked absolutely magnificent. The breakfast you two had looked delicious. I liked your teasers at the start of this video and then again at the end. You ended the video so as we'll have to watch it again to see what happens. And this I do not mind in doing can't wait.
Thanks so much Jonathan! 🤗 Oh my word, it’s hard to really show how big the Mosque is! Enormous. It just stands out when you look at the horizon, no matter where you are in the city. And you can hear the prayer from miles away. Oh thank you for your feedback with the teasers 🥰 The interaction with authorities was quite the experience.. and through the Medina in Marrakesh - can’t wait to show you chapter two! 🧡🙌🐫 Thanks for following us on the two channels J!
@@kristina_explores it's my pleasure being able to watch both of your incredible channels. Enjoy yourselves. I want to find out John did to be pulled over by Police.
Morocco 🇲🇦 is an amazing kingdom. Some latent racists or ignorants judge an entire nation based on rants from few people. Open your mind. Come to Morocco and see for yourself.
I was in Morocco and I went to the Merzouga desert and for the first time I rode a camel. Morocco is very beautiful and the food is wonderful. The tahini, Tangiers and Bastila are all wonderful. I will return because I did not discover the rest of the cities. My friend told me why you did not go to Agadir. There is a beautiful sea, Taghazout and the city of Essaouira. I will return and discover the rest of the cities.
if you saw something strange lool keep in your mind that there is a big part of locals live with less than 3 dollars a day and they try hard to make survive their families so be understanding we are are petrolien country 🙂 god bless you 🙏
@ I was serious! We were in rural France, near Toulouse, and the “facilities” were common for men and women. There was a hole, no place to sit, but the outline of where to stand or squat and where to place your feet. Interesting, to say the least….lol
When you finally found a well presented and edited vlog which looks professionally made that you really want to watch but sadly is super short. Should at least make it 29min
i was thinking that the traveler couple on youtube Sammy and Tommy had the most beautiful smiles in Morocco, but I have to think about that again lool 😊 you look like her i'think 🤔 keep going.
We've come over from the sailing channel. We will still watch both. I love yachts and sailing, but I mostly like to see all the places and sights and food in all these countries. So I am half way through Morocco Part 1, and this is exotic and exciting content. I love being an armchair traveller. Thank you both for all the work you put in. Your content is fantastic!
As with any destination, scams vary from place to place and city to city. Often, tourists judge a country by going to a single city. But every city in Morocco is different, just like in the USA. It will be like going to New York's Times Square, getting scammed and judging the whole USA by that single experience. This comment is not directed at you, but at any person who judges a country by visiting only one place. When you go to a country, visit many cities before you judge it.

Excellent video. I was surprised that you chose to visit Morocco, but at the same time I was still looking forward to viewing your videos.
