Glad you've got some new gear, not been on that Wheston Bank road for donkeys years. That layby at 4.40 used to be full of lorries about 10-15 regular there. I have done some contract work for one of them farms about 3.30ish back in the early 80's. Right thinking of the new bike, I think you will go with Honda because you have enjoyed yours. So my thinking then is Adventure style bikes and my top two guesses would be the CB500X or possibly the NC750X. If you went more for road bikes then my guesses would be CB500F, CBR500R or the CB650R. I discounted anything with less than 500cc. Having used a sat nav on the bike since 2016 I would definitely recommend one for longer distance trips as a great aid to riding not only for locations and directions but for speed limits and especially the dreaded average speed cameras, come into their own on those A9 ones as some go on for ever, and for filling station locations. I have only had a TomTom Rider but it has been a great help to me, well once I'd learnt how to use it. I rode out up through Tideswell on Sunday to Ladybower and the Snake Pass, a bit cold and like you now need a new jacket as my old one has holes worn in it from too much wear. Your subs still flying which is good to see, I now need about 50 more views but have been uploading more recently just to make sure I win! 😉🤣🤣Ride safe.
thanks Cloudmaker, liking the new gear but feels like there's always something else I need 😂 ahh all good guesses, you're right I am a big fan of Honda 🏍 thanks for the tips, I've been looking at the Garmin Montana 700i, it's a little pricey but hoping I wouldn't ever need to replace and will really help especially as I go on longer trips to more remote places. I love Snake Pass, hope you enjoyed! Happy with sub growth, still aiming for 1,000 this year. Congrats on the views, shouldn't be long now, think you'll be winning this one haha 🥇 😂 happy riding!

Agree, it's been too cold to be enjoyable but it seems to be getting better.
I think you might be thinking of a BMW GS something or other. I think Suzuki or Kawasaki are less stealable and do great sports tourers but I am intrigued by what you might get.😊
Thanks Lily! Black and pink sounds cool too. The jacket is so much warmer than the green one, perfect for now while the UK is still warming up. Those are all good / potential options. Can't wait to get the new bike and unveil in a video 😄 🏍
