Best broadhead I’ve ever used. Switched last year and ended up tagging out in GA. One at 50 yards. They match my field points almost exactly. Taking them to Colorado for a bull in September and I have absolute confidence in my setup with VPA single bevel 150’s. Thank y’all for your great work. Customer for life.
Watching this video, and listening to these guys at VPA has persuaded me to give them a try. I really like there view on how they do business, as well as life in general…. If I’m gonna spend that much money on broadheads, I’d like to know I’m supporting“good” folks with there head on strait. 😉👍
You got a sale from this viewer. Im looking at some 300s. I'm building a 715gn freakshow for whitetail. I have my ranges memorized, im looking for double lung every hit, i was able to hit long shots with light arrows but single lung hits happened with good placement - that turned me heavy.
If a mechanical is a low energy to open design, deploys from the rear and locks when open I might try it. However, in my experience the big problems with most mechanical broadheads are small entry holes, less penetration and my biggest gripe, an unpredictable path once the broadhead hits the animal due to the blade not locking open. Advocates state this allows the arrow to navigate around bone, but this means the arrow goes off course. I've been shooting a fixed blade designs (QAD Exodus, Slick Trick and a few single bevel designs like Helix) for the last 14 years and the broadheads do not veer off course when they enter the body, when bones are accidently hit they are broken and the arrow continues on its intended path, they produce great blood trails, and I always get 100% pass through.
He said Victory arrow was the only US made carbon arrow manufacture. Isn’t Easton made in the USA? I read a while back that victory arrows had, “made in Vietnam” on the package??
The first single bevel head I bought was a VPA the truth is I was disappointed in the sharpness, so glad to hear about there new machines I will now try your blades again thanks for your upgrade
Don't know if you guys are aware yet, But Nebraska NR archery tags went to a draw this year, and only 3k tags will be issued. It's a hidden gem no longer.

Nothing against VPA. They sound awesome. I just want to correct a misstatement that the gentleman made. VPA is not the only single bevel manufacturer that will replace a broadhead that takes damage while hunting. I shot a buck through the shoulder with a cutthroat single bevel. The buck went 40 yards and tipped over. Broadhead blade was folded over after going through the thickness part of the scapula right by the joint. I sent it to cutthroat and got a replacement. VPA is not the only company that does that.
if you get two holes on a muscle hit, the deer will recover quickly probably without infection. Two holes you most likely find your arrow and intact and can reuse everything.
Jake.... you say your not totally happy with arrow speed at 585gr. So drop to a 150gr. That takes you down to 535gr which is still a good weight... and you would gain 15 to 17fps on your arrow speed.
Or drop down to 450 grains with a 100 grain head and get the same pass through at higher speed. That arrow will literally kill a moose. Almost 600 for a whitetail? Bruh!
@@curtwatkins9520 if you don't go 650, you might as well go 450, because 650 is the bone breaking threshold and if you don't hit a bone, all two blades should pass through.
There is data supporting that heavy arrows and fixed heads does not gain that much in penetration like a inch so my question is why go thru all that and slow down a already slow compound bow the issue with compound bows is FPS period the higher the FPS the more you can do the more options you have now you are limited on compound as to how fast but just look at crossbow guys over 500 fps they can use just about any head they want and blow thru any animal period
Try reading the Ashby bowhunting foundation studies. Heavier and slower is best for penetration and really makes a big difference when heavy bone is hit.
Cool podcast here. A couple of things I wonder about. 1, VPA is NOT the only company offering a warranty. Magnus has been doing that forever. Maybe even longer than VPA has been in business. 2, this kind of new generation Bowhunter that seems to have grown up on mechanical heads. They shoot a 200 grain single bevel and a 500+ grain arrow at a deer 20 yards and are just blown away by the performance. They’ve never seen anything like it. Well, this current fad of boutique single bevel mega grain heads is way over rated. ANY quality fixed blade head from 75 grains to 125 grains on even the lightest arrow out of a properly tuned bow will do the exact same thing. It’s a white tail at 20-30 yards. You really don’t need much.
Had a ramcat on a 460 gr arrow deflected right off a bucks humerus and came out his brisket…never found him….3 days later another guy on our trip killed him chasing does… I’ll never shoot a ramcat or under 600 gr again

Magnus also has a lifetlime guarantee.
How do their single bevel compare to Magnus? I just ordered a set of Magnus now I’m second guessing. Any opinions?
Your fine. Magnus is top notch American made. Shoots like field points
Look into Samurai single bevel broadheads from Grizzlystik!
They really are the Best

This guy said above $10k for a tag 😂😂😂😂. Hunting racks you didn't earn is wild. Hunting racks you pay $10k for is worthy of disrespect.
