Chris Hemsworth is what you get when you hit the right DNA with social worker parents / nurturing...
Just a bloody nice guy.
But I heard he makes baby's cry, puppy bite, and stray cats hiss at him...
GO LOOK IT UP SEE IF IM LYING 😑
Animal magnetism. Ain’t nut’in’ wrong ‘bout that!!!!
@@Malouco give it a rest his an Aussie block no BS mate! Look that up 🤨
Sure
Meh...killing fish for sport isn't nice at all.
What must it be like to be so smart, personable, affable and gorgeous to look at? I truly hope Chris is as happy in life as he appears to be. Just one helluva good bloke.
He can sing and dance too.
We also have Bluey!
Australia has EVERYTHING! 🎉🎉🎉
❤👏👏👏👍
And as a Brit grandparent, I thank you!
And Dora.
That is not a movie.
Well said Chris. We do have Mad Max. It is such an icon of Australian cinema. Everyone has stories about max. Small country. Anyone in the arts knows everyone.
I can imagine how passionate Chris was in joining this franchise. As part of an Australian pop culture, i assumed Chris grew up watching those movies so to see him being part of it absolutely excited him
@@15CandlesSaw the movie yesterday and he CRUSHED it! ATJ is great as well, but Chris just chews up scenery constantly.
I just watched a trailer for Furiosa, and there's a particular spot where I caught a hint of The Joker. He did a high pitch "woo" kind of laugh when the bullet nicked the pillar he was hiding behind. If that's a nod to the Joker I love him even more.
we also have AC/DC
@@ivaerz4977 You win mate.
Chris needs to do the Colbert Questionnaire!!
His performance is fanastic in that role, he immediately seems like a completely different person from himself or his usual roles.
Watched Furiosa yesterday. Miller has once again knocked it outta the park. A superb film. Once the film finishes you just want to watch Fury Road straight away.
Same for me!
He will always be Thor to me, no matter what other role he plays however successfully. ❤
Once a god, always a god.
Ditto - although his role in Ghostbusters comes in a near second.
RUSH, the movie directed by Ron Howard Chris was great in that
@@joannemurdock7899 Very underrated movie. Daniel Bruehl was also excellent as Niki Lauda.
@@pollytiks3885he and Kate absolutely stole that movie.
Absolutely LOVED the little improv bit at the beginning!! 😂😂😂
All three nephews in millers family are all MD’s and one of them was my doctor .the kindest most wounderful doctor .💋saved my life many times .thank you George Miller MD in Australia
I just saw the film and by gosh, what a performance. The dialogue is so profound too, and coupled with his depravity added more weight too
George Miller was the director, co-writer & co-producer of the wonderful, marvellous film 3000 Years of Longing. The kind of movie that just doesn't get made these days.
Wonderful movie!
“Mine!” “Mine!” “Mine!” “Mine!”
Below your comment, the AI has "Translate to English", as it always does when we throw memes'n'things at it. Yeah, I don't think translate from _Gullspeak_ to English is in the AI toolkit.
Yes!! I was thinking the same thing! 😂😂 #FindingNemo
There’s an ad currently on UK tv: a guy walking along a seafront eating from a bag of chips (fries in USA), goes to walk past a bench where there’s a gang of seagulls (humans dressed as gulls) hanging out like a bunch of bored teenagers. He glances at them; they see his chips and start moving in on him… the menacing body-language is brilliant 😂😂😂😂.
Cat from Red Dwarf.
Sorry... You're going to have to share, kid. 😍😄😉
Thor was by far my favorite comic as a kid, and when Marvel came out with the first movie, I was almost afraid to see it because I was sure they would cast the wrong person as Thor and ruin it. Then I watched it and by all the gods, Chris WAS Thor - AWESOME.
I particularly love it when he makes it to Earth and he's in a hospital or something but he's still behaving very uncivilized. It really did make a perfect match.
@@Chimchimchu
Agreed, but I would say more like a very confused god rather than uncivilized.
Chris is drop-dead gorgeous.
I know Stephen wanted to arm wrestle Chris, Haha .... Cannot wait to see the newest Mad Max. Peace and Love Y'all
A double man crush going on here ...
Wow, I’ve never seen a promo clip that showed the climax of the movie.
It's not about the ending, it's a prequel we already know how it ends. Nothing is spoiled.
It gives enough to not know the ending
Stephen Says, "Iconically Australian" and the caption generator says "Psychotically Australian" lol
And the problem is?
They're the same picture.jpg
I mean...
And as usual, I must go with the Brits!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
he's Australian
Made me laugh a bit that TH-cam gave me an Outback Steakhouse ad during this video
It knows … 😮
I am yet to see an Outback Steakhouse here in Australia.
@@GarenandDarius Yeah, probably not. It seems to just be a place that uses Australian stereotypes for marketing purposes, though I haven't been to one in years so I may be wrong.
Chris: Brits have Harry Potter
James Bond:
Carry On
@@antrimlariot2386Sherlock Holmes, Robin Hood, Mary Poppins, Scrooge, Lara Croft, King Arthur, Winnie the Pooh, Willy Wonka
Brits have James Bond!!!
Yeah. And Bond is a better comparison than Potter because Bond is an action hero. The end of Licence To Kill has a Mad Max road chase vibe.
I concur. I actually haven't seen any Harry Potter movies. It's simply not my cup of tea. But James Bond surely is.
@@YTguySmithy-lk6go Always thought that too
Brits have Bridget Jones (soon to be Mad About the Boy)!!!
@@scifiknutWatch Harry Potter
This might be his best performance yet!
I miss Paul Rudd's appearances on Conan with the "Mac and Me" clip.....
When I go to see Mad Max in theaters, all I am going to do is compare Chris with a seagull.
Can't change that, sorry!
'Meet the Feebles'
&
'Black Sheep'
I'm an Aussie but the Kiwis broke the projector & the projectionist with those 2.
p.s; John Clarke, social satirical genius.
Clarke & Dawe:
"The front fell off"!
I'm giving the Kiwis Lord of the Rings.
Go away..
Can't wait to go see it!! So love him!!
Chris Hemsworth I love you so much ❤️❤
Great job on the character acting Chris. ;O)-
I can't wait to see this.
James Bond just over there saying hello
Yes, this! There is no series as enduring and quintessentially British as the Bond series, to compare to Mad Max and Star Wars in their respective countries.
Loved Chris in the movie RUSH directed by Ron Howard ❤
The seagull acting worked cuz I didn't even realize it was Chris Hemsworth in the trailer until his name popped up!
Neither did I, saw a clip of the movie did not know it was Chris, did not recognize him😮 and I'm Aussie and live in Australia
Chris did an amazing job as Dementus... but his voice wasn't massively different, IMO. The nasal quality is turned up high, and other verbal quirks are there, but I still felt someone could recognize him fairly quickly.
His wife, Elsa Pataky, doing the second of two roles in the film as one of Dementus' lieutenants that lasts to the climax, is the one that threw me more. Gaped when I saw her name pop up a second time in the credits.
His character looks like the "It's" guy from Monty Python
Chris comes across as a genuinely lovely person. And his acting in this film is astonishing.
Loving Chris Hemsworth ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
That clip they showed reminded me of the chiro chopper pilot in mad Max 2 .
And he is great in the movie.
That man is very good looking. Nice
We need a Colbert Questionert for Chris Hemsworth.
You are ALWAYS a great host 💕
I wish A Country Practice had done a movie. Brian Wenzel would be a global megastar. Not to mention Lorrae Desmond, Grant Dodwell and whoever played Esme Watson. And the wombat.
I still havent gotten over Molly dying.. Let it go....
We also have BMX Bandits with a super young Nicole Kidman, and also another iconic movie which is never really mentioned and that is Running on Empty..
He's just so 😍 😍😍😍
effininate looking
Adrenaline gets high from Chris Hemsworth 😊
You guys down under have Bluey, and we are all jaleous!!!!
Can’t wait to see this ..,
We Puerto Ricans have Superpan!
Hemsworth morphing into the Techno Viking
He sounds a bit like Brian Brown in that movie.
Fury Road is absolutely amazing.
Stephen’s a gracious host - when Chris says George Miller also directed Happy Feet and Babe, Stephen offers a hearty laugh, even tho he brought that same thing up with Anya Taylor Joy the night prior.
Stephen is also classy, he never once mentioned Anya’s VERY daring and sexy dress while she was on.
Creep
I picked up on that too.
Do you like actually like this broken record of a “comedian?”
@@thomasrose2149 Apparently you don't. Yet here you are.
Two shows recorded in one evening, neither saw the others as then unaired episode...stay in school, touch some grass, get a grasp...
Loved you Chris in RUSH Directed by Ron Howard
Chris saying in a high pitched voice Step right up🤣 step right up🤣memories of being at an exhibition/circus /theme park
If he says "straya mate straya mate" in that voice, is perfectly hilarious 🤣🤣🤣👍
That’s the guy from Hot Ones!
And the Kiwis have The Lord of the Rings. It seems
The Lord of the Rings is an English creation
@@illyaedwards7188 the book was but the movie was peter jacksons creation so is considered a nz movie
@@bodybalanceU2 but it doesn't change the fact that Lord of Rings is British, Hollywood are making Godzilla films but Godzilla is still Japanese.
@@illyaedwards7188 but we are talking movies not books so what is your beef?
@@bodybalanceU2 I don't have any beef, let's just stick to films then
I can't believe they showed the ending as a clip.
Legend.
MadMax and Crocodile Dundee... Chris would be a good Dundee as well. Can you make Chris tell, that's a knife? That's not a knife, this is a knife :-))
George Miller the Director made The Aussie classic 'The Man From Snowy River'. Which is a stunningly beautiful film. The cinematography is astounding. The story is based on a poem by 'Banjo Patterson'. It's a great Aussie style western, with a love story! It shows off the Snowy Mountains, and the wild horses we call brumbies.. George Miller is a genius film maker. Mad max is iconic.
“America has Star Wars, the Brits have Harry Potter, Australia has Mad Max…and I would add New Zealand has Lord of the Rings” :)
John Ronald Reuel Tolkien is English. You should also read up on why he created that beautiful world. New Zealand had a lot to do with those brilliant films. But the creator is English. Written for England. Most of the early Star Wars films were filmed outside America and a lot of it was in English studios. Nonsense trying to claim it for NZ. Just enjoy being a part of it.

@@firepootz1isn’t Shire and its inhabitants a representation of England and English?
Some of our best qualities are represented by the Shire and its Shirelings. Thank you for reminding me.
@@firepootz1 the movie was written by a kiwi peter jackson who had sole power over the movies and he wrote the adaptation to the movie so it is his movie not tolkiens as he only wrote the book - the movie was peter jacksons idea so is considered a nz movie made in nz by a nzer who wrote the movie which was adapted from the books
Yes this is excellent. One more need
And the Kiwis have LOTR and Japan has Zatoichi.
Legendary franchises all of em.
Australia also has "Mr In between"
And Megabattie! And Batzilla The Bat.
They also have Crocodile Dundee.
And..... Wolf Creek 😢😢😢😢😢.
And Razorback 1 and 2.. But no one really cares about any of those..
Star Wars is half British because a lot of the original trilogy was filmed at Elstree studios and locations in the South east of England.
Ok & the prequels were made in Sydney Australia
chris hasnt changed a bit
even got younger
...the world has Lord of the Rings.
Kiwi not Aussie!
LotR belongs to the Kiwis, it couldn't possibly have been made in any other country on the planet. They're just good enough to let the rest of us enjoy it.
@@cleverusername9369 it is a huge point of pride for NZ
Yes! Thank you, New Zealand ❤
New Zealand is fantastic you don't have to tell me about the films and he couldn't have been shot anywhere else at least for most of it however it was still written in Britain and tolkin was upper class Britain not saying it's a good single
Love the man flirting 😂🤪🫶
Why is the end of the movie the promotional clip? ....
Right? Bizarre choice.
I don't think the story really matters, fans are there for the car chases.
Love the teddy bear
Welcome to the show! It's a dynamo!

`Straya mate
Star Wars was made in the UK, at Shepperton.
Mad Max provided a wonderfully energetic new post-apocalyptic tone of its own.
Yeah Star Wars is like a shared American and British franchise.
USA has Star Wars, Brits have Harry Potter (and James Bond 007), Australia has Mad Max, Japan has Godzilla
Really? The first thing i think about Australia is Neighbours soap opera and the legendary Steve Irwin.
That picture at the 1:00 mark of Chris looks like the actual Thor from Norse mythology.
New Zealand has lotr though
I loved fury road with Tom
I've never seen two guys try so hard not to mention Mel Gibson.
And you guys also have Dr. Who, who’s very popular here in America too.
Australian movies are in a league of their own. Some of my favorite movies! First of all, "Soft Fruit," 1999. "Heavenly Creatures", 1994, had the most horrifying and poignant murder scenes of all time. And of course, "Muriel's Wedding", 1994.
heavenly creatures is a new zealand movie directed by nz peter jackson nothing to do with Australia or their movie industry - a true nz murder which happened in nz in the 1950s
I'd say Star wars is half British.... They were all filmed in the UK and the majority of the cast are British...
But the lead stars were all American.
@@dceplay True, but that's why I said half....
Why in the world would you use a scene from the end for the interview clip?
Americans DON'T have Star Wars, or Indiana Jones, because they were made at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, ENGLAND!! As was The Shining! And even Moby Dick with Gregory Peck!
