That was beautiful. A fantastic example of male friendship and healthy masculinity.
So unusual to see Ryan dial down the sarcasm and dial up the sincerity, I always really enjoy his sarcasm of course, but this was great too!
Especially when Sarcasm comes so naturally to him. The little bits he let in were so fun. And Hugh's beautiful laugh in response to those. The whole interview was therapeutic.
I really agree, he tends to shut down that side too easily. Glad Hugh could bring it out for a bit again.

i think it's hugh jackman that brings out the niceness in people because they say he is the nicest guy you will ever meet.
I like it because you know he means it all. If it's important enough to not be overly sarcastic, it's worth saying.
I feel like Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are like brothers with Hugh being the oldest. This true friendship bond that they have with each other really warms my heart.

What we're seeing is something that almost never happens in cinema, and especially not superhero films - two genuinely incredible actors from completely different backgrounds, who were absolutely destined to play these two characters, and embody them so well that even they each understand why the other works so well in the role. The friendship between them just seals it.

It makes way more sense for them to use that as an armature and edit it down after they had a real conversation than to fake every last second for more acting when they're not doing actual acting...it's unnecessary and it's all subtle and casual and pandering....nobody is making amazing jokes or telling people watching to buy something...it's not a talk show interview

The anxiety part was so well answered. Shows that he really lived through it to have gone through this entire thought process..
Anxiety is such a drag, man. It's very hard to deal with and harder to overcome in the moment but when you do finally get over that hump, it's one of the best feelings.
"2 sexiest man alive winners, circlejerking each other for the camera" may have brought them more views as a title for the video, but I'm glad they kept it classy. Way to take the high road, guys. In all seriousness, great conversation from two stand out gentlemen. Can't wait for the movie!

@@onlyyehavah it was partially really good and partially bad. Overall the good outweighed the bad imo. Hugh was fantastic as always, Liev was great at Sabretooth, Taylor as Gambit, but then Deadpool was awful , Stryker was so cheesy, Wolverine gf situation was pretty cheesy, etc. Could have been really good w some tweaks. Now The Wolverine was fn awful.
@@onlyyehavahwell, it was created by the directors of Game of Thrones. It shows what they do when they don't have a best selling author to based their script to based on. That's why Wolverine origins sucked and why the Game of Thrones last season sucked.
