The shotgun takes shells, not bullets. That's a Picatinny rail, not weaver. That isn't a fake heat shield, but it is fiberglass instead of aluminum. I have one and it works excellently while adding less weight than the aluminum varieties. It's also a lot easier to install and remove and is cheaper in cost.
I have a MOSSBERG 500 12 gauge Cruiser with a heat shield from the factory, along with 18" bbl and pistol grip, it just looks so right and cool. I'm hopping that the 12 Shockwave looks just as cool. Thanks you for a fine video.
Thank you very much for taking the time to post this tutorial for us. Very well done and to the point. Put mine on in minutes thanks to your excellent help.
Good video HyperSniper. I just got my Tacstar Railmount with Sidesaddle today and got very discouraged after reading the instructions that came with it. They said something like you have to take out the trigger and all kinds of other stuff. After searching TH-cam i came upon your video and after seeing how easily you installed it on your Mosseberg i was able to install mine on my Maverick 88 in less than 5 minutes. Thanks for your video and the help it provided, keep up the good work.
Hi, i’d like to put one of those on a mossberg 500, but I’ve seen some reviews that don’t recommended. How do you like it so far? Would you recommend? Thanks!
How do you like the pistol grip on that when it comes to recoil? I decided to go with a raptor handle because I heard the pistol grip is a real wrist breaker. Especially with Magnum shells. I'm very happy with my choice, but still curious if it was the right one.
Had the pistol grip on my 500. Changed it out for Raptor. Raptor too slippery. Major stipple job and then knocked down with 80 grit. Next is safety switch and then side saddle. Oh yeah, then the bayonet. TOO MUCH FUN!!!
Is it still easy to load and chamber with the side saddle mounted? I watched a different video where it effected the efficiency. He was using a Remington 870
I think that the side saddle isn't going to affect performance one bit. I put a 6 rnd Tac Star on my MOSSBERG 500 Cruiser with factory heat shield and pistol grip, and it works great. You can do very fast reloads with practice. I'm picking up my new 12 gauge MOSSBERG Shockwave in the morning ( $399.00 to $419.00 ) going price in upstate New York . I'm predicting that these LIBTARDS lawmakers in New York ban this awesome firearm because that's just the way they are, they ban everything, WHAT A BUNCH OF FLAMING PANSIES!!!

Lol. Everything you said is true.
/ \ probably calls his firearm a pew pew and never refers to medication by actual name lol

Taking out the trigger would be a paIn. My Mossbergs trigger is a tight fit.
well done! Thank you for not rambling off on a tangent, like so many videos do
Well that went good, and I think you covered the product enough...
This looks good but I can't decide if I want this product or to drill and tap the receiver. Which is better???
Will it mount to a Mossberg 535 tactical?
The um shotgun bullets? Mounts onto the um shotgun? Whats going on here?

What trigger is that?

i left at "shotgun bullets"....
Mossberg holds 5 rounds in the magazine + 1 in the chanber
They also make a slightly longer 500 that holds 7 +1

Will that side saddle prevent you from sheathing the weapon in a voodoo tactical breacher shotgun scabbard or similar product?
Wait how is the heat shield fake? Is it card board? the only heat shie4lds ive ever seen do exactly what this one is doing. Weird review dude.
Fake heatshield? Was that a joke?
Yah he said it... it may have been just being filmed but he sounded nervous.. lack of rehearsals..?
