@@werunguns it sure did. Interesting note, if you are using this with a crimson trace side saddle laser, the extra length and threads on the trigger pin replacement screw are essential!
@@GruncleWorx Just for clarification if your attaching this with the crimson trace laser the provided screws are long enough? or did you have to get different hardware? Thanks
@@CG_9870 the included screw with the tacstar for trigger pin replacement is the one I used to mount the crimson Trace. I'll make a short video and tag you in it. As you noted in the video, the replacement pin protrudes out from the tacstar and it's this extra length that makes it work! I was worried at first but it all goes together like a glove!
Thanks! Just put mine on. Didn't even refer to the instructions after watching this. It took no time at all. I do think the thing is overpriced at almost 40 bucks though, but oh well. Works.
Nice video! Very detailed! Thanks! My shotgun is based on this Mossberg (with slight differences), and I have a similar side saddle. The problem with it is, if you need to shoot with the left hand, this rigid saddle might hurt you. Happened to my wife once. It would be really nice if you could adjust it, to be more forward, away from the trigger guard.
A lot of people make a lot of videos about the side saddle on the Shockwave, but can anyone please do one with a practical reload demonstrating how I would work on this particular weapon.
Place the shells with the brass/ primers pointing towards the ground. Keep it shouldered with a hand on the foregrip. Take your trigger hand and reach under the receiver, pull a shell out and feed it. What’s nice about placing them in the saddle with the brass downwards is they are already in the correct orientation to load them
If you have the Crimson trace LS 250 sidesaddle laser will the trigger housing pin that comes with the side saddle fit holding the Crimson trace sidesaddle laser and side saddle ammo holder. Been having trouble finding ammo sidesaddle that fits w/crimson trace sidesaddle laser.
Really cool expect the pin u take off to put the screw in is what u take out to clean it so now to clean it u have to take the whole side saddle off that’s why when u tighten it too much it’s doesn’t rack that’s a very important piece
Your video was very helpful. Unfortunately I had to use it again 6 months later to take the sidesaddle off! Shell holder broke off under normal moderate use and recoil. Wouldn’t buy this product again. Putting a leather sidesaddle on the stock next time. I’m referring to a tactical 590.
Hmm..... I dunno. That plate seems too large for the receiver. I think I'm gonna go with the stick on velcro soft cloth elastic side saddle for my new shockwave. I saw the video and that one looks easier, more compact, lighter and not as "intrusive" as this big chunk of Chinese metal and plastic is..........and I definitely don't like the fact if you tighten the back screw down , it fucks with your action. Not good.... I'll pass on this item
I can answer that. The velcro works great, the problem is the elastic loops, they won't hold your shells tight and your shells will slip out as your shooting.
I've considered a side saddle but can't bring myself to attaching something like that to my Benelli M4 if I'm going to need more than nine rounds I think I'll just bring my bandolier with me
Don’t put the screws to tight cause it would mess with the action use loctite and if it does mess with your action keep messing with it and it should come back to normal

Awesome video! This was an easy install thanks to your video. much appreciated.
Just installed this afternoon, really appreciated the video to give me a walk through beforehand.
Glad it helped!

Just purchased a shockwave today. Thanks so much for the install video on the side sadle.
Henry John No problem, enjoy!
Thanks for the very clear and concise video, it’s very much appreciated.
Angel Zeno No problem, I’m happy to hear it was helpful
The washer goes on the 10/32 screw. The one you used to push the pin out
Thank you. Have an old Mossberg 500 cruiser model and this helped a lot.
Great video. Now I'll have to buy one for my Mossberg 500A Defender. Thanks for a detailed video that makes it look simple.
Thanks but I think I like this one better now. Comes with a top rail which is cool th-cam.com/video/E6K74IKfJok/w-d-xo.html
I have no practice use for that or the shock wave, but you better believe I'm getting one.
A legal "WIP IT" . AWESOME.
It's a fun gun to take to the range, I enjoy it

Is the TAC STAR side saddle only on Amazon?
Nice video! Very detailed! Thanks!

Thanks for the video, with your help I was able to do mine for a model 88 cruiser
Great vid - made install easy. Loctite is good stuff also.
Thank you, and yes Loctite is excellent for this application
Only blue though, red will make life a living heck
Thank you for the video. I got a 590A1 for Christmas. Needing a side saddle badly.
Nice, hope you enjoy!
The washer goes on the rear screw per instructions.
Thank you save me a ton of headache great detailed instructions.
I’ve heard the steel pins on these wear larger holes in the aluminum parts of the shotgun when shooting heavy loads.
I have the same concern coming from an AK platform where this is an issue. The shotgun people don’t seem to know about it
Can you install this same saddle on to the maverick 88?
Yes I recently did
I've never checked into one of those. I have a Mossberg 500 that could use one. Thanks for the install video!
No problem, can't wait to take it to the range and train with it
Would this side saddle fits a Mossberg Maverick 88? Thanks
Thank you so much for this guide. I bought the one for 20 gauge so I didn't need to separate the shell holder from the base.
Oh nice!
20g side saddle. . What brand ?
@@MAGA_USA i have the 20ga too, tacstar makes this same saddle in 20. harder to find than 12 but got mine on amazon
If I also want to put a Sidesaddle Laser on the other side , Which should go on First ? Does it matter ?
We Run Guns will a regular pair of plyers work for that one washer?
So I want to know what watch that is you're wearing? The saddle is cool but I'm more interested in the watch.
This one th-cam.com/video/KifpkoEmhUM/w-d-xo.html
Does it fit on a Mossberg 590s tactical
Wonder how well it works with 1-3/4" shorty shells...
How did it function? Did the screws break?
I'm glad you safety check that shotgun, with these HDTVs things look so real, I wouldn't want to get shot
Is this available for the 20 gauge?
Thanks for the vid. I just did my shockwave 😎
How bout on a 320 savage security shotgun?
can the shells be placed in and held upside down
Good thorough review
Awesome vid.. Do you have a vid for side saddling a Winchester sxp marine defender?
Good looking out just got my Moss 590 and plan on getting this
Nice!
Legal issues for blocked serial numbers ?
If you have the Crimson trace LS 250 sidesaddle laser will the trigger housing pin that comes with the side saddle fit holding the Crimson trace sidesaddle laser and side saddle ammo holder. Been having trouble finding ammo sidesaddle that fits w/crimson trace sidesaddle laser.
When racking the forend back does your forearm rub up against the side saddle?? Please get back to me? tnx
Would this work for mossberg model 590 tactical? Same procedure?
Is there a side saddle for mossberg 800
How do you remove the internal screw?? Mine is beyond stuck!!
My screws that replaces the trigger pin was just a tad bit too short
Mine too
Good job
Thanks so much bro! SUBSCRIBED
Will it work on the 20 gauge version?
Yes
Great video!
Thanks!
Will it work on ANY MBRG 500?
Is this compatible with a side saddle crimson trace laser
Same question here. Did you ever find an answer?
Thanks this helped me alot.
Nice gun I will getting one this week....thanks
Awesome! hope you enjoy it. Don't hit your nose shooting it from in front of your face. Happen to me once lol. Keep a strong grip on it.
Do they sell just the screws?
Honestly not sure
@@werunguns i found my screws just installed might see if i can find a nut for that back screw
Great video. Thanks!
Will this fit on the 590M?
Hmm I'd have to check the fine print
how is this after a few thousand rounds?
I assume I can install this on a vanilla 590. Do I need the shockwave modification? Thanks in advance.
I believe it should work without shockwave mod
Works on any 500/590/590a1. Doesnt matter if its a Shockwave or not. Receiver is the same
Will it work on a regular 590?
Yes
Yes

Does this work for my 590A1 12 Gauge?
Does it effect my rear side?
09/22/2020
cant seem to get the nut to fit with the washer on
Hmm that’s weird. Did you follow all the steps in the video?
The instructions say the washer is supposed to be used on the REAR bolt that goes through the trigger assembly.
Looks easy I’m ordering in from Walmart site for my new mossburge 590
Please tell me how i can find reloading belt wich you have on this gun, on amazon or ebay..thanks in advance
Mishka Stu try Dunham’s or Walmart site online or amazon has everything
Thanks very helpfull

Pastor Jeff well thanks for letting me know. Sorry to hear about that...
Thanks for that!
Thank you.
Should use loctight
Very true, thanks
If your forend extends past the receive, this product won't fit.

How did the Velcro saddle work out?
I can answer that. The velcro works great, the problem is the elastic loops, they won't hold your shells tight and your shells will slip out as your shooting.
I think you put the washer on the wrong screw. Should be on the 10-32 screw, under the head.
I've considered a side saddle but can't bring myself to attaching something like that to my Benelli M4 if I'm going to need more than nine rounds I think I'll just bring my bandolier with me

I think my crimson trace is in the way

use a wrench!
Thanks
waited the entire video to see you test the retention on shells....🤔
I’ve shot it many times at the range with no issues. Try to include that next time
Next time have it on safety I know it's not loaded but never know always stay safe
You have the washer on the wrong bolt!!!! Please know what you’re talking about if posting instructional videos!!!!
So where does it go then?
I ordered this twice on amazon and both times no supplied screws or tools Garbage sellers. And company no customer service available
For God's sakes get a proper wrench or socket.🤣
You need some real tools man.
Be care not to stripped your screws
Nope I will pass.
What other options would you consider?
Thanks for the video 👍🏻😀
