    We installed one of these in our vintage Shasta refurb. Works great! One caveat is that it requires a minimum flow rate to kick on and stay running. If you have a limited water supply and try to conserve, you may not get enough flow to keep it running.

    I have one of these that I've been using for a couple of years. It's been great to have a hot shower setup for under $250! Mine isn't this identical model, but very similar, purchased in fall 2022 and I've had no problems with it. Highly recommend it.

    We bought one for an outdoor shower and it is excellent!👍 We turned a 3 × 5 metal garden shed into a shower shed...works great! But we won't be using it in the winter because the water heater is hooked up to a garden hose.

      I have a joolca hot tap water heater & 12v dc electric pump. Had it 2 years, use it once per week average & still going. Use plastic barrels of clean city water/ not lakes or streams. If water entering system is very cold it doesn't heat up water to desired temperature. If u run it through heater from container #1 to container #2, it'll be hot running from container #2 for shower, clean pot pans etc. Wondering if anyone else experiencing same w/ different make of instant hot water heater.

      @@DonTerhune since we will be living in our RV while we build an earthship I decided to go with a solar hot water (panels) and hot water heater to "pre-heat"... it will off set the inlet temperatures in the winter with our off grid electric system and wind turbines.

      Yes, it’d be better to get a 12v or 120v pump so it has a consistent pressure like 330GPH or whatever the water heater requires. Some of the kits come with the water pump.

    • @oh-qn6ht
      @oh-qn6ht 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You can run a hose from the house to it for unlimited water supply. Or if offgrid you can buy a 12v pump and plug it into your car. It can suck out of a bucket or lake if your close enough to feed the water heater for a shower. Really a slick setup and it gets super hot if needed.

    I've still been trying to save to afford one of those and a backup generator because mine does not want to work and I don't know why it only been used a few times it's damn near brand new. My generator shouldn't be acting like it's got dirty gas in it when I don't put dirt gas in it.

      @rupe53 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Lovelace069 ... the actual source was a well but knowing the lay out ahead of time I also packed about 500 ft of garden hose to tap into the farmer's poly pipe he had to the back of his field. Due to the heater having rather small passages internally I added some of those hose washers with the fine mesh screen to filter any odd sediment. BTW, the shower head has a restrictor so only flows about 1.5 gallons per minute. Not perfect, but more than adequate for the purpose.... and sure beats a solar shower bag.
