Those shower tents are so expensive. I want one that has the floor also in it, so it can house the camping potty and changing room, bathing, etc., had one years and years ago, got divorced and stored camping so we got rid of it. Wish I had it now, but your system is sweet. I have to get thinking about building one for the camping potty so there's privacy.
I’d put some fishing weights at the bottom of the shower curtain in case there’s strong wind. Don’t want the wind blowing the shower curtain up and everybody seeing anything

I have been using it now since I installed it at first I just needed something temporarily until I ordered something better but after using it for about 30 days, I see no reason to spend $300. But where I park is FULLLL OF MAJOR MAJOR ANTS SUPER BAD NASTY BUGS AND SNAKES!! And I gotta have something with a bottom to help protect my feet!! And well me in general! For me I think I'm gonna have to have something fully enclosed!! But AMZ has got some darned nice shower tents from like 30 to 60 bucks! And I think for the 60 I can get a double room one! I have folks watching and folks pop up and as a woman I don't want to be popped up on wo some much needed privacy!!😮😊 But ur pool ideal to stand in is great love it!!!😊❤😊
Lead I’m glad I didn’t share my build with you. I’m laughing because you have the same thoughts I had during my build. I’m amazed how your build is slowly growing, just like mine did. There’s only three more ideas I had that you haven’t thought of yet. But I’m gonna be patient and wait. I know you’ll think of it soon. Even the over lap of the curtain. I will say this, Amazon sells a hanging toilets bag that I love using when I take my shower. Awesome job on showing people you don’t have to spend a whole lot to camp and survive. I mounted my shower between the open back doors to my trailer. I have a large area and direct access to the inside. The removable shower rod keeps the doors open.
People are suggesting weights or magnets on the bottom to keep the curtains from blowing in wind. My suggestion would be to make the bottom like the top and collect the slower curtain to the bottom pipe just like you did the top. The bottom of the shower curtains won't have holes in them to use to connect them to the pipes, but you could fold the bottom up to strengthen it then use a hole punch to make holes to use to connect the hooks to the pipe. I would suggest maybe tacking the bottom of the shower curtain together before punching the holes so that it's stronger. Otherwise, it may be weak and rip after just a few uses depending on the quality of the shower curtain you get. You don't have to hook up a real shower either. You can get a portable camping shower... or if you set it up by your camper's kitchen or bathroom window, maybe you can get an extra long sink sprayer and hang it out the window
This is brilliant!!! I think I might use this idea with the addition of weights on the bottom of the curtain and I will also drill holes through the "pole holders" and the pvc pipe. That way I can place a pin to hold it securely while in use. I worry too much, lol. I'm thinking the pipe might pop out of the holder and bust someone in the face. But simply drilling holes and placing a pin would fix that issue 😊 You sir, are a genius! Thank you for sharing.

You can add some heavy magnets to the bottom of the curtains on either side so they stick together to weigh down The curtains so the wind won’t blow it up

I just thought with that round pole if you covered the top of it you would have a sun awning too.or you could sit under it with the shower curtains & pull them around to shade you from the sun & privatesey.well done great idea.
I was thinking something similar: For keeping the shower curtains from blowing, put two more flag pole holders at the bottom and use a second curved pole like the top one. After the shower, adjust the bottom flag holders to ~45 degrees, and you’d have an arched awning. You could use straight poles for even more shade. I use adjustable painting poles I picked up at Habitat for Humanity Restore.

That would be great for Rv and van dwellers. You could probably sell that in a kit . People could use it in the house to as a space saving shower. Just put a plastic tub underneath with a hose drilled in the side leading to drain and then its a super space saving option. I thi k you could box this up and sell it online as an indoor/ outdoor shower space saving option. Lead farmer & his wife are brilliant. . Im thinking...,.indoors add a plastic pool or a plastic thing underneath with a hole cut for drainage with a hose attached or something. Afterwards move it all for space.. Maybe, add a piece of tarp cut in a circle with a hole and hose attached for drainage. This has so many options. Im thinking you could also box this up as a room divider. So many options. Many people don't like bathtubs because yoive got to climb in. Now we need a device underneath for indoors. What could I use with this indoors to catch and drain the water . Maybe, a collapsing plastic box built like a cardboard box but shorter and bigger with A plastic leaf bag inside it with a hole cut out in one end and duct tape a garden hose in it for drainage

We had looked some affordable ways for her to feel more comfortable using the outdoor toilet and/or washing off outside by our ponds. Even though there is no way anybody could see her (we are very remote), she wanted the comfort of a cozy little room. Thank you, sir!

In my trailer, I put a shower pan on top of a dunning rack with an oil drain catcher. Got the dunning rack cheap on Marketplace.
The oil container is on the floor under the dunning rack.

Sew the two curtains together and grab a cpl of strong magnets to hold the sides to the trailer so the wind doesn’t whip it open 😂😂.
Lady lead can sew the 2 shower curtains together down the middle so it doesn’t open up. I love the curtains
I absolutely love this. If you add some small magnets on the inside, you could stick it right to your camper right there and the wind wouldn’t blow it open, but I love this idea.

you could sew magnets into the curtain to hook to the trailer so it doesn't;t blow out and a large black ( ?? ) on the roof for warm water. Of course this year it could get pretty dang hot with the heat. Your idea is awesome and will definitely be stored in my brain for later when I can get a van or camper. THANKS!!

@leadfarmer73 I can store it outside it a deck box and then just slip it into position. We had looked some affordable ways for her to feel more comfortable using the outdoor toilet and/or washing off outside by our ponds. Even though there is no way anybody could see her (we are very remote), she wanted the comfort of a cozy little room. Thank you, sir!
