If you're looking for bass go for jbl but if you're looking for details and quality of sound go for sony.
I like the sound stage on the sony better but the 310 just has wayy more deep bass
Jbl if you want your house to shake with music made for clubs...but for better instrument separation and overall quality I would go with Sony, I would say it is a bit more "flat" sounding and versatile. But yeah I can see why many would prefer the JBL in a PARTYspeaker
As I already predicted yesterday, the JBL Partybox 310 has way more sub bass than the Sony, but what the Sony does somewhat better is the mids and highs at 100% volume, and that's because of the Sony is not putting as much of bass as the JBL is putting out! Another great video Willington!❤
Sony is more of a brand that focuses on sq than having a lot of bass. (Sony's Headphones are a different story)

Hello guys... recently I bought XV800 I bet you this guy is keeping the 800's mega bass switch in "off" condition and playing this game. You make mega switch on and play then definitely you will here more bass in 800 than 310's bass.

Yo acabo de comprar una Sony xp500, después de que en 1 año, dos veces me falló la batería de mi JBL PB100. He escuchado que JBL tiene ese problema con sus baterías, sin embargo, me han recomendado mucho Sony. Y seré honesto, la verdad sonaba mucho mejor mi PB100, que la xp500. Ahora, voy a cambiar mi xp500 por la xv800, estoy seguro de que sonará MUCHO mejor que la xp500 y pb100. Sony mejoró mucho sus speakers, con la nueva linea de altavoces, a comparación de los viejos xp500 y xp700.

I took the JBL 310 and Sony xv800 camping, the JBL is definitely stronger, but the battery on the JBL didn't last 12 hours at max! While Sony was grooving for 21 hours! And as far as sound and clarity are concerned, Sony breaks it down..

This was oviously, wee need the 510 to destroy this thing. Now there is no comparison in such a power in bass. You can increase the power even further with plugged in, and bass boost 2 for massive midbass power.

You can make it louder if you plugged in, and Increase to level 2 bass boost.
There is no such thing as "Level 2 Bass Boost". The two options of Bass Boost is "Deep" and "Punchy". These two bass options are completely different from one another. The first gives you, as the name suggests, deeper bass while the second emphasizes on upper bass. Each Bass Boost comes with its own compromise, on the first you gain in deepness but almost have no upper bass and on the second you gain in the upper but lose on the deep bass. In each case, the frequency response is there and based on what you choose, one is accentuated and the other is diminished.
Long story short... There are no Bass Boost Levels! It's quality option one and quality option two.
Although, yes, plugging it in does make a substantial difference in both loudness and bass performance.

Just i don't like, but if you want more on power side with less deep Frequency, then here it is, but as I am i do not use bass boost 2. Should Stay in level 1. You're lying, alot of some VH speaker i hear them alot in personal, they all muddy and boomy, there is some deep but annoying and disturbing to hear.
And JBL manage to offer deep smooth Frequency just like what i hear in some car audio systems, they admitted massive deep bass, long distance can already hear it even if it's way to far.
Deep bass was actually way louder outdoors than midbass boosted. I can proved and it's bringing us to my 300meters massive deep bass vs 50meters or 100meters midbass boost topic. In my previous comments.

That sony is the kind of speaker that will give you headache at 100% volume if you are near to it.
JBL even with a 100% volume wont even irritate your ears.
