The PB 110 has deeper bass but it's missing the Mids
The sony is just boomy. Not much else
Totally agree I have own one pair of both the sony sounds more natural
In stereo mode the sony has way better stereo image wider sound more detailed
The jbl focus more on bass and treble
In stereo mode the jbl sounds narrow sometimes you can't tell they are in stereo mode
The channel separation in the jbl is almost not existence
And one thing I notice is
When in single mode the jbl do sound better than sony
I believe that's why on every review the jbl always win

Sony is the least natural sounding speaker.. and its sad that you think it does lol. Its compressed midbass, soundstage is not wide at all. Its boxy and trapped sound. Thats why sony is not even on the list of the best speaker reviewers out there who know that its bad sound

Jbl sounds opened, wide with deep rich bass and sony sounds like its covered with a few layers of sheets.

Like i said I have own both of them
And as a matter of fact I kept the jbl and got rid of the sony because when in a party, barbecue, etc people are there to have fun not for a listening section They both are low quality sound speakers the jbl with its sbc codec wich is the most compressed audio codec
The sony with its ldac sound more flat and uncompressed to me but it's still a low sound quality speaker
I kept the jbl speakers because bass vocals treble is what suits on a party
For my personal listening
I have my yamaha mx-1000u amp mated with my yamaha ns1000M monitors
Next with JBL Boombox 3, I bet you in that too probably the JBL will have deeper bass!😂😂😂😂 Now I'm thinking what is the point of releasing this Sony speaker in this price point!😂😂 The only thing which is good about this Sony speaker in this video is the loudness because atleast it should be louder than the JBL to depict the output watts!😂👍🏻
Not everything is about bass, JBL’s selling point is drawing you in with the low bass but with the correct sony speaker and set eq with sony would sound better across the majority of genres of music i lve had both sonys and jbl speakers i still do and i always find each speaker excels in different styles of music i never stick with one all the time.
Check out the partybox ultimate and I would love to compare it with Jbl 710 and also with jbl 1000.
One more suggestion is the Hisense hp100 compare with jbl 100 plug in both 100% volume but Hisense has many sounds options.

While these comparisons are fun and useful for reference they are not a good measurement on overall sound. People don't understand that the digital soundwave has limitation when it comes to storing information. For instance. The XV800 MAY be bassier than the PB110, but since it also plays mid and high with higher power the microphone and the recorder caps the sound intake so it doesn't distort the soundwave. It's like a bottleneck and it's not about bitrate but membrane limitation. The only way to make it closer to a real life experience aside from the physical feedback from base would be with at least 3 frequency tuned microphones that would pick each frequency range and not the others, then merging them into a high bitrate soundwave, it's simply a mechanical to digital limitation and the micrphone trying to make as much as possible with the decibel variation between frequencies.
OR, make each speaker play a separate range of frequencies separately, it's a lot of work and i am not asking the channel to do it, i'm just explaining why playback of a track recorded thru a microphone may not be an accurate representation of band performance. Again i have not heard the XV800 so i do NOT know if it's bassier than the PB 100 or not.

@@Grommet2007 Gain control would work to a certain extent because of mechanical limitations on the membrane picking up soundwaves at the same time. Gain control would most likely stop distortion on ranges but there are still physical limitations based on how a microphone works, its just hard to reproduce the experience both at the recording and the playback end.
@@Satorikn I meant to say does NOT use AGC. AGC will adjust the recording level based on the input signal, and it's NOT a very good feature when recording audio for comparison purposes. A decent mike has a pretty wide recording range, so there should be no concern about overloading it, unless the SPL levels are very high.
If I’m being honest if you listen to songs like the 2nd or 3rd in my opinion pb is instant win. I’m going to get my pb 110 tomorrow and put it through hell with highs and mids. For some reason even though the highs and mids are kind of muffled on the partybox, to me it makes it sound like more premium sound, I bought a 100 dollar speaker from Costco a few years back and the Sony is giving off those vibes.

I'm listening on my 110. The bass isn't this dramatic in real life, but I do see this blows away the XP 800 in bass, but the XV800 wins in overall sound quality. Thank you for this comparison 💯

@@TheAscendedTechNinja rlly my friend has the 110 and in my opinion I don’t like the sound and there rlly isn’t that much crazy bass. We both agree that my xp 500 sounds better, but at the end of the day sound is subjective.

Guys I have both. The xv800 is definitely deeper. The video is picking up how deep the bass is relative to the other frequencies playing. The Sony has a more balanced EQ, so for the microphone it sounds like less bass

@DLXWillington Hey i have an idea, i can hear that weird sound in Pb 110, your bluetooth codec is switched to the worse one , for better sound use SBC not AAC, iPhones do use the AAC and it sounds clear but on Android phones the AAC distorts a little bit so im using the SBC always ,because my ears are very sensitive to even small details, much love 🤟🫂❤️

I’m tired of JBL fans.... they think that all JBL is the best. May be is slightly better but Sony had improved their speakers. I own the xg300 and in real life and with custom eq it sounds pretty good.

@@gianniantonello1501 Of course, sonys do sound good, sony is not an amateur company like those soundcores and tribits of the world. Sony speakers do have a decent tuning but they are a bit overpriced and they do not line up with the expectations of teens nowadays, jbl heavily takes advantage of the current trends like a heavy V-shape tuning and overpowering bass, thats why they rule the market.
