- This organic chemistry video tutorial provides the mechanism of the epoxidation reaction of alkene. It provides the arrow pushing drawing that shows how an alkene converts into an epoxide using MCPBA or RCO3H which is a peroxy acid. This video also shows you how another way of making an epoxide using the halohydrin formation reaction mechanism followed by base catalyzed elimination of the halide. Following this, the video provides the mechanism of the anti hydroxylation of an epoxide to form a trans diol.

What i love aboug this channel is mostly makes product with wedge and dashes
His voice omg, its a drug
Not what we want but what we need 😂
Thank you for everything you do sir
It is the best channel on youtube
Wow!!!! just splendid
Thank you so much dear sir 💖
just awesome thank you...
why would the oxygen attack the double bond? they are both rich in electrons and have octet?oxygen usually attacks positive or partial positive atoms
He didn’t show a situation in which that happened. Each time, he showed a halogen and an alkoxide that attached a partially positive carbon(single bond). Unless I missed something… if you point out the time period, I can explain.

That is nice
Sir what if we have a compound with two terminal double bonds..
Great video
thank you so much!!!!
Thanku so much sir
Thank u sir..it was awesome
Finally completed hydrocarbons as a 12 year old
mmpp works also, correct?
Full form?

Ya
I luv u
Mechanism needs some more explanation. You didn't explained it well .
Pheraps you didn't understood well
Very interesting. But could you speak up a bit?
I'll try next time
Have you done anything on epoxy polymerization ? I cant find anything related in your channel
I dont think video has any error.....
The ads are annoying. They freeze and waste 20 minutes
stop whining, find another video king
a couple of times you refer to a carbon atom that is double bonded to something else as a double bond itself. Pls be more precise in your language
Hate your mic
