Thank you for the tutorial (I finally did it lmao) I do Have one question: In your way to switch to 3D mode, I realise that when you actually switch to reverse, you are using the positive part of the throttle to fly in reverse and not the negative part at all. Idk if that makes sense but normally I feel like when I want to switch to 3D Mod, i want my reverse on the negative part of the throttle, my normal on the positive part of the throttle and my neutral on the middle of the throttle. There is no wrong or right way to fly 3d but Do you know how would I be able to make the switch work like this ? Thank you again for you tutorial !! Have a good day :D
So if I understand what you asking.. you would like to have normal flight without flipping the switch, bit when you do flip the switch you would be in 3d mode. But in a more traditional 3d mode (where mid throttle is 1500 is zero throttle, 1500-2000 is positive thrust and 1500-1000 is negative thrust). To answer your question.. Is there a way to be able to make the switch work like that? First off, this would be a very clever way to have the option to fly normally and instantly switch to traditional 3d flying. Secondly, I believe you could absolutely do that setting it up in your radio... Five minutes in the future... So I tried it in my radio. In the inputs tab on your radio. Select the second line that we made on the throttle input. (The line that is activated by the switch) Edit it. Change the weight to 100% and change the offset to 0%. Keep the expo to 30% if that's your thing. That should make the 3d mode set up in a more traditional style while being able to still fly normally without the switch activated 😎 My concern would be that there would be a huge jump in throttle when the switch was activated. If you were at 0 throttle when you switched to 3d mode you would hit full throttle negative. Unless you switched to 3d mode while you were at mid throttle in normal mode. (I hope that wasn't too confusing) if you see it in your radio, you'll see. I hope this helps a bit. If not feel free to reach out! About the throttle 0 issue i agree that you have to be careful to not switch to 3d while being at -100 lmao, but at the same time, you can "hide" the fact that you are switching to 3d mod while going at normal cruising speed, that coud also be interesting :D Thank you for your help bro, cnnaot wait to try 3d flying !
Sick I'm gonna have some thrust reverse on my planes. Got the ESC to reverse couldn't figure out how to get full travel. Thanks so much
