    Exemplifying simple and classy leadership. Straightforward, useful and void of any ego (yet personable). Onya for sharing! From a newbie perspective, these (albeit micro) tuts do help out a lot. Thanks again :)

      Glad you like it! Switch out the textures in the material to get more unique looks too. this material is really versatile.

    Amazing tutorial, the only one I've watched so far that actually worked. Thank you so much, mate

    Thank you!
    Quick and easy to follow tutorial, always telling the hotkeys and quickly explaining what you do without wasting time is exactly what a good tutorial is like! Nice done, helped me a lot without any confusion or frustration :D

    If you can't see it on the plane, find the emissive color section and change the color intensity to like 2000

    Thank you! This is the only normal thing I've found for my project.

    Loved it, I know these take A LOT of time to make.

    Thank you sir! I've had trouble making nice fog planes in combination with a post processing cel-shader, since volumetrics don't work with that, so this was absolutely perfect!

    This is a great material! Thank you! A couple of notes:
    1) Please minimize your preview so we can see the shader graph better.
    2) Fresnel is pronounced "Fren-ell" or "Fruh-nell", the "s" is silent. I had a hard time figuring out what you wanted me to do.
    Thank you again!

    If you double check but not working, press Alt + F or from Viewport Show -> check fog. (Tip. increase color intensity from material then you can easily to control)

    sometimes the fog flashes in and out of the scene depending on how your looking at it is there anyway to fix this?

    • @MrHollt

      Weird, try r.forceLODs 0 in the command box on the bottom left. That might fix it

    Very great tutorial sir! If I watch from some far distance the fog plane edge is visible. Can you tell me how to solve this issue? Thanks!

    • @MrHollt
      @MrHollt  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      With this material texture the edges will be noticable. The fix is a little too lengthy to explain. This fog is good for ground coverage. You can either layer them or make them larger. If you want the fix look up how to mask in a material or maybe blur edges or a material and then adapt it into the material

    it doesn't work. It's completely invisible.

    • @MrHollt
      @MrHollt  ปีที่แล้ว

      If it's invisible and all the nodes are correct, you probably missed adding values to one of the parameters. I'd start there when double-checking.

    Real shit bro. Im not even going to watch and do this because im so sick of tutorials like this. You arent telling me why you are doing things. We are not baking cookies. I WILL need to customize for myself and particular situations. So it doesnt help to know what YOU did in this situation. Teach a man to fish, dont just give him the damn fish.....

    • @MrHollt
      @MrHollt  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      There are videos on nodes. Teaching you each in this tutorial would be another hour, and I like to make my tutorials as short as possible. if you make the fog, play around with the settings and nodes, which will help you learn much faster.

      Should be in windows files... not in Unreal.
