Yes, transitioning children is despicable. They are too young to consent to life altering procedures that are not medically necessary. If they are too young to get a tattoo they are certainly too young to have their body chemistry altered or their breasts removed. That is why legislation is needed. To protect the young and innocent from those who put political ideology before children's safety.

Adults can choose whatever they want to do with their bodies, I think most people can agree on that. But a minor does not have the mental capacity to make permanent, irreversible and almost certainly harmful changes to their bodies. It’s about protecting children from harm.

I was raised Assembly of God, also obviously code for Republican. Once in college, I moved away from both of those fronts. Still spiritual/Christian, now mid left Dem. I don't know how one can read the Bible, or any other book of faith, and put it into practice without being a political liberal. Especially with today's version of conservatism. I don't know how to be a Christian without also being a Dem, or at least liberal. Even if all restrooms were single occupancy and all sports did not exist, effectively removing those things as "issues," those haters would invent another reason for their hateful agenda. They are nasty, hateful bullies.
The point is to reduce the number of people that they have to share anything with, so they hate women, non-whites, LGBTQ+ etc. They intend to deny all such people everything that they can deny them, including their very existence as they have made clear with women on the abortion issue. Women must die from lack of medical care, not the fetus…they call them selves patriotic and christian, but they are neither.
No one wants single occupancy restrooms however i have been to places like that and honestly people get in and out faster cause you dont have to worry about a bathroom being open but its for the lady's. But if you had just womens, mens, and privacy/family bathroom that always is good. I wonder how they reached whatever pinnacle they've achieved enough to love their own aggressors. I live in Ohio and this makes me sick. I attended a pride event here and some of the nasty comments these kids got from adults was appalling.

I am so glad that in spite of the GOP party in the state of Minnesota trying to overrule with their bigotry and hared towards the GLBTQ+ community, were epic failures with the MN Democratic trifecta that actually created legislation to protect those that were seeking healthcare to change their gender in a health care facility, particularly at MN Children's Hospital in Minneapolis and St Paul! We also protected abortion rights and access to birth control as well!

This is what happens when a small portion of the population goes after people's kids with radical ideologies. It wasn't enough to do whatever you want as adults. Going after the kids has now given them the excuse they needed to make laws that indirectly affect adult trans healthcare via protecting the kids. Maybe don't use fascist tactics targeted at kids that can result in the very real potential consequences of surgery or hormones before their brains are fully developed enough to think critically about many things. Do whatever you want as an adult but don't go thinking everyone else has to deny facts and reality just because you do. Being trans is fine but it doesn't give you special rights nor does it put you or your group above scrutiny when your claims don't match facts or reality.
