This song has always moved me. When my cousin was murdered by her husband this song was played at her church service so it always resonates with me. It usually makes me cry when I hear it because it is so mesmerizing. This beautiful soul sang it so elegantly. Made me cry again. ❤

I've seen a lot of these videos but this one is special.
Whenever Stephen Colbert asks a guest which single song they would choose to listen to the rest of his/her life, I always choose this song.
I was, as a teenager, with a group touring the Sistene Chapel when a lady sang this song to illustrate the acoustics of the space. It was a celestial experience to be sure, affecting me profoundly.
