Crews working Nov. 23, 2021, on repairs to a leak in a Lower Cape Fear Water and Sewer Authority (LCFWASA) water transmission main in Brunswick County, N.C. The main provides raw water from the Cape Fear River to utilities in Southeastern North Carolina. After completing a bypass around the leak, crews began work on permanent repairs to the water main.
