Got this last month, I love most of it. Its biggest issue is that the swivel shoulder hinges that the arms are connected to are way flimsier material than the original. And because of the way it's designed, they don't actually click into the chest. SO any time you move the shoulder joint down, it just bends that flimsy piece with it and I hate that. He does look much better though.
Just got my kit in for the Premium Finish version and it’s fantastic! _Only issue is that in the process of installing the new chest I stripped some of the screws and now I can’t remove the new chest at all. Guess I’m stuck with it now, lol._
Had my better half dying from laughter the other day. We are both fans of Emgo's videos and after we.... "eh hem".... finished "warming each other up", I put on my best Emgo voice and said " And now we screw!" She just looked at me with her best "You what, dumb shit?" look and burst out laughing, she said later I was lucky that she loves me and has the same sense of humor , or I'd be sleeping downstairs for a month. 🤣

Last I checked the kit was $25 before shipping…meaning I would have to spend as much on a chest piece (and gun) as I spent on the figure…if only I was more liquid. 💸 Edit: Big Bad Toy Store has it for $30 with $4 shipping…meaning it would cost more than the figure did.
DK-35 UPGRADE KIT FOR 2007 MEGATRON: • New Blaster Cannon for one or both arms together. Megatron can stick his arms together to form into his giant cannon. • New Upper Chest: (NOW INCLUDES LANDING GEAR!) Use the screwdriver to remove screws on Megatron’s body. Detach Megatron’s shoulders or his arms then also his head and lastly his original chest. Replace it into his new chest with landing gear revealed from his jet mode then assemble all the parts back together. THE TIP: You can repaint Megatron’s sharp clawed hands from darker grey colored to metallic silver.
I have the premium finish version that I'm trying to install but can't because I have 2 stripped screws on the chest and shoulder and I accidentally broke the original chest piece and one of the screw tubes are stuck with the stripped screw ,so I'm trying to figure out how to remove it
Un Screwing and screwing is very useful but everytime I do those stuff, the top of the screws keep breaking and get stuck, does anyone have any way on how to fix this type of problem?
this upgrade kit is excellent! But I'm disappointed, you are supposed to get a screen-accurate toy when you buy a studio series one and this one is not ! I love when an upgrade kit gives you better articulation and more accessories. studio series had one job be scree- accurate and he failed!

The weapon storage in alt mode makes it look more complete. I might actually get this kit.

I used a flathead screwdriver to unscrew it

At least the landing gear prevents him (kind of) from scraping his nice silver chest on whatever surface he rests on.

you can use a rubber band to remove stripped screws, I recommend looking up a tutorial. Hope this helps
