I like that you actually pumped the spindles full of grease. Nobody talks about doing it. In fact they complain the bearings are "sealed." However the grease works it way into them. So, for those of us who absolutely don't hit things in their yard, just like you, then those spindles will last a lifetime.

I agree, if it has a grease sitting on it, it is designed to be greased frequently
