Brought back some memories! My Mom had one in white with a red interior when I was very young. I saw one in that row just like it! Great American automobiles!!❤
Amazing chrome - stainless - trim in those days! I'm just watching old Perry Mason episode and he's driving a maroon or wine one that he's driven in other shows.
You don't see that every day. I honestly do not like the style. I am 100% happy that they exist, and am in awe of the designers. What a time the 50's must have been. You could build that and the world loved you for it. You could be all like "bigger fins with rocket nipples" and everyone be all like "yeah."
Good observation - Only the Eldorado Biarritz convertibles had chrome housings and extra side chrome. The models without are series 62 convertibles ("Bottom Line" models). Some owners of series 62's restore their cars with the extra chrome to give them the "Biarritz" look. Total production of 1959 model 62 ragtops was 14,138 and Eldorado B's was 1, 320. They are ALL gorgeous and the pinnacle of '50s glitz and opulence!
@@markmalone5384 My dad had a 59' white Fleetwood, and the housings were chrome, he put over 400,000 miles on her, he changed the oil and filter every 2500 miles or so, it ran like a timepiece, eventually sold it, to a guy in Sweden, I bet it still running today......Don't make em' like that anymore......
That is not correct. ONLY the 1959 Series 60 Special 4-door hardtop sedans had the chromed taillight housings. EVERY one of the Eldorado's shown had the housings added because they look so nice. If this was a concours with judging, they would be marked down. In MY case, I would add those fine-looking housings in a hot minute!@@markmalone5384

Just an absolute dream row of 59’ Eldo Biarritz’s!!!!!!!!

Класс🤩 Мои любимые автомобили всех времен❤
They really were something, no?
But I have to admit that I like the 1960 cars better.
But those '59s sure we're a sight to behold.
Why were the 60s better??
Classic masterpiece! 🙏🙏
Absolute beauties, I’m quite sad they don’t make cars with like this anymore
Wow what a sight a real dream sight ,😊

As far as I know the extra 'cornet' chrome piece in front of the headlights in the middle of the fin were standard on the Series 60 Fleetwood.
I remember that Batman has such car at long long time ago 😂😂😂
Very best old Style Car
How does one park one of those boats.
Is it possible to buy a car?
Rare moment indeed
I have an elite buyer for the blue Eldo
Older model cars had a somewhat conservative design and were not very aerodynamically advanced.
