Honestly I think to this generation of Star Wars fans Ahsoka is just as iconic as other key figures as Luke and Leia, from Clone Wars to Rebels and finally Mandalorian we’ve seen her grow up right along side us, she’s as much a part of Star Wars as Darth Vader himself and to me she will always represent what Star Wars and a Jedi are supposed to be
Perfectly stated. I was only 11 years old when first introduced to her in theaters for The Clone Wars movie. She wasn’t much older than myself. Now, nearly 13 years later, I’m 23 years old & have witnessed her grow up - go through the same journey we as kids did. She’s essentially our Luke Skywalker, so I very much agree with you...she’s up there amongst the greats.
@@thestarchivist it’s such a satisfying feeling finally getting her in live action especially in one of the best pieces of Star Wars media to date since we saw her go from sort of annoying (even though I personally never saw it) to a fan favorite, and it just shows how much Filoni and Favreau care about their characters and how great Rosario Dawson was at portraying her since I get the same feeling watching her now that I did watching the Clone Wars when I was in 4th grade. Yep! She is the perfect embodiment of perseverance & tenacity. She always gets up from her falls, heals her wounds, & doesn’t let the past hold her back from keeping up with the good fight. She’s now on a tier much like Qui-Gon & Master Luke Skywalker - a true Jedi.

I always thought that horn part was a part of Rex's theme. Theres a version of "burying the dead" that combines the song with Ahsoka's and Rex's themes and it's utterly heartwrenching.
It's so easy to miss when watching because it has a different tone every time. They shape it to fit each scene, which makes it fade in the background instead of being in your face about it. Moments like her Mandalorian farewell are quite rare where it bursts out into full volume and is impossible to miss.
Yeah, there's a certain beauty to her theme in being delicate like it is in both Clone Wars and Rebels. It's subtlety reminds me a lot of Leia's theme and Luke's theme, which tells us a lot. All 3 of those characters have one thing in common: they are, in one way or another, shaped by Anakin Skywalker. Knowing their themes are so delicate, beautiful and hopeful, while Vader's is intense, militant, and foreboding, really showcases that contrast. It was definitely a change in Mandalorian to hear her theme so prominently -- there is certainly a message in that, but I'm still trying to figure it out. My theory so far? Is that we hear it loudly because Ahsoka is officially on her own journey now, her own character. There's no other Jedi shaping her path, other than herself. Which is why getting her own show is very fitting, too.
Ahsoka represents what the Jedi should have evolved into. The passion for discovery that Qui-Gon had, the strive for peace and balance that Obi-Wan had, and the spirit, life, and love that Anakin had. The jedi were so focused on a war with the dark side that they lost what the order was meant to be for.
This theme has a perfect blend of hope and also sadness. Some times it roars in glory like when she gets her new sabers and the end of the mandalorian but then when shes burying the clones and leaves the jedi order it's just sadness which perfectly sums her character up. She rarely gets moments of happiness. Raised in a war, her troopers then turning on her. Burying her soldiers, blaming herself for anakins death, finding out anakin is in fact Vader. That's why it's so good to see her happy at the end of her episode in the mandalorian

When it plays in Mandalorian it just gives me feels! She has lost everyone, all the Jedi, Anakin, who turned out to be Darth Vader, Ezra, we don’t know what happen to Rex. She might be the most tragic character in Star Wars.
Agreed. Many say that Anakin/Darth Vader is the most tragic character in Star Wars. But I’m with you, & would argue in defense of Ahsoka being the most tragic. She’s the one who lost Anakin, had to live on after the death of the Order in isolation, no idea of Obi-Wan or Yoda’s survival, & later even having to confront the fact that the most vilified Sith in the Empire is her former master - now long manipulated/brainwashed.
@@thestarchivist Well Star Wars was always about tragedy. So she is in the high ranks of the tragic story. But she is nowhere near Vader's level. Thank you so much! Yes, her theme is highly underrated. If they could do a suite for her as they have for Rey and Bastilla, that'd be brilliant. I'd be listening to that on loop. That moment she holds back Maul is iconic. Making her score so operatic/orchestral there was perfect, since she was at peak performance with her Force abilities there. It was beautiful as they transitioned into the Force theme too, as she let him escape. Showed she was a real Jedi in that moment -- the Force was on her side. In case you missed it, minus the celebration music in the beginning, Ludwig Goransson's full section of Ahsoka's theme is pretty great: th-cam.com/video/nxtqzTpxN0U/w-d-xo.html
With how epic that last version plays her out, I'd almost be okay if that was her last appearance. Good thing we're getting a series though, I'm immensely excited.
Coming back to this to really truly drink in the beauty of Ahsoka's journey through Kevin Kiner's music... Truly superb, there really isn't anything closer to the depth of emotion in John Williams' Force Theme than this! Watching Ahsoka's TV series, I always let the end credits play all the way through, letting my emotions flow with the music after each ending scene. Just so poetic and poignant.
To me, Obi Wan represented to resilience of the Jedi, Kanan represented the path to redemption (of finding one's way), and Ahsoka represented the balance of the Jedi. Of course there are others, Luke, Qui Gon, Yoda, etc. But watching these three took the stage in their subtleties, in their growth and challenges, and it was a journey to witness.
Obi-Wan represents the ideal Jedi imo. He accepts his flaws and doesn't resort to arrogance. Many other Jedi resorted to arrogance instead of embracing their flaws. Yoda realized this once he fought Dark Yoda in S6. I think Qui-Gon represents the balance of the Jedi, but Ahsoka represents the balance of light-side and dark-side users of any type.
I do, too. Hoping it’s the big climactic moment out of the series. I’m sure Ezra will have much to share & tell to expand the universe of Star Wars as well, after going into the Unknown Regions.
Putting those back to back just felt right. Really underscored her’s as well as Anakin’s transformation from The Clone Wars. Glad it was effective for you. Thank you for watching!
Ahsoka is the equivalent of Luke Skywalker. Whatever she's gone through she never lost her faith. She made mistakes and learned from them. She was acting like Mary Sue at first but then Filoni showed us she's the oposite. She's not dumb, she was young and with time became wiser.
So true. She had actual layers as a character & went through trauma, failure, & hardship just like all of us. Confronted lows, but also had moments of elevating highs. Definitely our generation’s Luke Skywalker like you said - a true hero.
She was overconfident and snarky (just like Anakin) in the first few seasons of CW. But I don't think you can call a character a 'Mary Sue' if he or she isn't instantly liked by all the other characters.
Ashoka is widely regarded as an ENFP personality type. This pattern of late blooming and seeming like an apparent idiot early in life (due to a subconscious overreliance on extraverted intuition) is very common for these people. And, yes, Luke Skywalker has an incredibly similar personality dynamic, and is widely regarded as an INFP personality type (as George Lucas himself is). The entire franchise is extremely xNFP (extroverted intuition, introverted feeling) driven -- the "force" itself seems to be a stand-in for the ancient Chinese philosophy of the Tao: "The [Tao] is my ally, and a powerful ally it is."
Gorgeous motif. Subtle, and reminiscent of both the force theme, Yoda's theme and others. A truly balanced theme. Brilliant character. Honestly the music of the Clone Wars is just incredible
I love how the evolution of Ahsoka's theme goes from something exciting to something mystical and wise, a more meaningful melody, which also represents the evolution of the character.
Wow I really never pay attention to ahsoka theme but it’s so beautiful and I was really never a fan of her but when I saw her in the mandalorian I’m was a instant fan of her when the music play at the end.
Much agreed! Her theme is a hidden wonder sprinkled throughout the Clone Wars and Rebels. We're so lucky to now have her music be alongside her live action debut. Absolutely can't wait for the Ahsoka show!
Ahsoka Tano’s Theme is one of my favorites if not my most favorite musical piece from Star Wars. When I met her in clone wars I immediately had to search up her theme and was shocked at what I heard. How could this almost mournful song fit such a bright young Padawan? Then I finished the clone wars... this song truly fits everything she’s been through ever since her expulsion from the Jedi order.
The amazing thing in her theme, Is i hear it, and all of star wars comes flooding into my mind. Every character. Every moment. Every story. In this amazing, infinite, world, way beyond our own. That sparks imagination in this life we have. A beautiful theme, that summons up all these lessons we see. And feel entirely
I really love Kevin Kiner as a scorer, and I’m super glad that one as well known as Ludwig Görranson has been taking it and putting it into his scores.
My favorite thing about her character is that she went through all this tragedy and pain. And never gave in. She stayed true to herself the entire time. Very few both in the show and in real do that.
For me my personal favourite is „Ahsoka Leaving“, but since Mando I am in a miced position now. „Ahsoka Lives“ is so well arranged. Heard it a lot, last time in my car a few hours ago, which has an 8-speaker option with subwoofer in the exchange tyre space (don‘t know if it is the correct name for the spare tyre in English 😅). And with that setup this song blows my mind even more. Everytime I‘m mostly in tears hearing her theme, which - until now - only „Anakins Betrayal“ could do. A bombastic theme with so deep meanings, feelings and expressions. Such a fantastic and underrated theme, in my opinion together with Lukes theme and all the other important ones one of the most iconic. Like Ahsoka in person, but thank God that seems to change finally. Ahsoka is by now one of the best characters and the most important female characters in this franchise of this era. 🙂 Very nice video 😃
Thank you so much for the kind words & support! It warms my heart to see so many fellow fans of Ahsoka. She truly is such an inspiration to people & the perfect repress of a female protagonist. “Ahsoka Lives” is absolutely gorgeous. I can’t imagine how beautiful it must sound with your sound setup. I’d love that too, cause I’m partially hearing impaired, so listening to music in that type of environment is like healing for me. Thank you again for watching & sharing your love for her music with us. It’s much appreciated! 🙌 May the Force be with you.
@@thestarchivist It lives with the subwoofer. As soon as you can hear it with a decent bass, it doesn‘t matter if you are sitting in a car or if you hear it with headphones. Also the drums in „Ahsoka Leaving“ are better and deeper as soon as you play the song with more bass (but not overloaded with bass like all the Tuner guys 😃). I just love the Mando version as it builds up with every second to ‚explode’ within the last 30 seconds. You can feel all her sadness, all her loss and sorrows. Funny how one year can change someone. Thanks to Disney+, which started here in Germany in March or so, I gave TCW a try (knew the movie, but didn‘t knew any more content). And since that moment I love her as a perfect girl within such a Sci-Fi setting. Didn‘t have any (fictional) characters in my life which I loved more. Bought a sticker of her Fulcrum logo for my car, every background has her motive as picture (smartphone, PC, PS4, iPad 😂). I even began to write fanfictions because of her (nerdy me 😂). You‘re right, she is an absolute inspiration for everyone to chase their goals. Even if you fall, you have to stand up just one more time. One thing which is very important in times like these... I am so excited for her own series (let‘s see who is the man or woman in charge for the music there) and if she will get some screentime in the Obi-Wan series. 😃
I love this! I watched the Mandalorian before the final season of Clone Wars. I rewatched the Mandalorian and caught her theme song for the first time. DANG. I appreciate it so much.
I love how the last one is the most Triumphant, cuz its like... we literally see her live through the clone wars, survive order 66, survive a fight with Vader, survive the end of the war with the empire. Hopefully we get to see her train Luke, find Ezra, and help inspire a new order... then die in some crazy awesome way, becomes a force ghost, and finally reunites with Anakin. She's literally the bridge between all the sagas.
I love how the last theme we have seen (The mandolorian) feels like a closing theme. Like the first one feels like a start of something new not an ending. Thanks for making this :)
I love how her theme has gone from hopeful (even a hair childish, perhaps) to sort of ethereal and mystical (feels like it could belong in LOTR perhaps, or something fantastical) over the years. Like truly a journey from a padawan to master, even if she is “not a Jedi”. Edit to add: i know different instruments can create different atmospheres and that’s also what has changed, but the chords and some of the pattern has too. Even in alternate genre covers, there are certain ways songs are written for various genres of movies/shows. So it just feels like the theme has gone through a heroes journey in some ways. From bright and childish to the most recent feeling ethereal, almost like she is a figure of myth and legend, despite being right there on screen.
You know I've always wanted to put her theme into my Spotify playlist, but I dont. I dont because I know that if I do, it will have less meaning to me the next time I hear it in shows or movies. It wouldnt feel as special or unique. That's how good it is. That it's so good that I love it to the point where I dont add it because i want it to continue to feel special. I want it to keep its uniqueness. I want it to touch my heart everytime it plays. Huge props to the musical team that keeps making her theme song into something to admire and love.
Holy cow. I legit didn't know she had a theme, and now I'm happy that I know this. I'm even happier to know that Ludwig Goransson brought it back in The Mandalorian. I wonder if that'll be the main theme for the upcoming Ahsoka series, or at least a variation of it
The one that hits most for me is the rebels themes. Her facing vader. With the sound boosted in the WBW scene, you can hear all the different voices in the background too wow.
I knew her theme and recognized it in all of these scenes beforehand, except the scene where Vader finds her lightsaber. It’s so subtle that I didn’t catch it before, fitting considering that scene is a metaphor for how the Clone Wars are over and the past is now blurred.
Star Wars’ message of “Every Generation has a story…” always seems to focus on each trilogy, while in reality I think so many of us grew up to the animated shows, so deserving of a category of their own. I was born ‘03 so I was two when RoTS was released and definitely cannot remember any of it, yet the prequel era is the closest to my heart … Without Clone Wars, and all of the amazing characters I don’t think I would have become the Star Wars fan I am now ❤️
I wanted to fit that one in, along with the one with Rex’s reunion! Just disrupted the flow a bit too much for the edit, but that moment is still great! Was hard for me to cut it.
Some of these scenes i didn't even notice right away having the modified theme, thanks for sharing. Haha guess i gotta focus on smaller details next time I watch Starwars
The rebellion era had several notable Jedi Knights rise to prominence as symbols of peace, Luke, Kanan, Ezra, Cal, the list goes on. But I think Ahsoka Tano most accurately represents what a Jedi Master was supposed to be like, a pure of heart warrior of the light that preserves the balance in the force not only within herself but also those around her, in both Rebels and Mandalorian/Boba Fett, she is seen as a wise mentor figure; a rare guardian of the knowledge of old, one of the few people who survived order sixty six who were far enough in their training to be able to cohesively pass on the knowledge as it was passed to her, rather than some wannabe masters who had to kinda, make it up as they went. Ironically this immense wisdom has made the once-padawan into a Yoda-esque figure, with wisdom from a forgotten time... She is old enough to remember when the Jedi were peacekeepers, but young enough to keep up with the Padawans and protect people from harm, you know, the job of a peacekeeper.(let's be honest, most of the actual masters who survived the purge were either too old or had corrupted their minds to the point of being way too dangerous to train a new generation of Jedi)
When Ezra says "Morai?", can we hear "I am the daughter" in the background?
Indeed we can!

Loved the new rendition of Ahsoka's theme in her own show!
" I owe her my life . Now i owe you too " I believe she will find and help ezra in ahsoka series
I do, too. Hoping it’s the big climactic moment out of the series. I’m sure Ezra will have much to share & tell to expand the universe of Star Wars as well, after going into the Unknown Regions.
Me seeing that this video has no dislikes: *Visible Happiness*
This is the way.
That is correct
Now there are dislikes 😡
@@aayla9982 I have failed this video. I will now exile myself to the swamp planet of dagoba

Seeing the scene where anakin gives Ahsoka her lightsabers back and then her dumping them after order 66 really hit hard
Putting those back to back just felt right. Really underscored her’s as well as Anakin’s transformation from The Clone Wars. Glad it was effective for you. Thank you for watching!
Nothing in entertainment has made me cry but when I saw the last episode of Clone Wars I was holding back tears. Ahsoka is the best ❤️
In this day in age, in canon at least, I think she’s better than Luke. She grew, and she persevered. She didn’t let failure destroy her like Luke did.
Gorgeous motif. Subtle, and reminiscent of both the force theme, Yoda's theme and others. A truly balanced theme. Brilliant character. Honestly the music of the Clone Wars is just incredible
Definitely need an update of this video to include Tales of the Jedi and the Ahsoka show.
Absolutely can't wait for the Ahsoka show!
we need an updated version including the legendary end credits of ahsoka show
Ahsoka walking away is still one of the best moments of the entire franchise.
Ahsoka is one of my favourite star wars characters, and his soundtrack is just EPIC! I absolutely love it
Ahsoka Tano’s Theme is one of my favorites if not my most favorite musical piece from Star Wars. When I met her in clone wars I immediately had to search up her theme and was shocked at what I heard. How could this almost mournful song fit such a bright young Padawan? Then I finished the clone wars... this song truly fits everything she’s been through ever since her expulsion from the Jedi order.
Showing when Anakin first accepted her as his padawan then seeing her surrounded by clone troopers with him there is so heartwrenching
I sob everytime I hear her theme.
She has been my favourite character since I was 8 years old.
Very nice video 😃
I think my favorite is the one from the Rebels episode "Future of the Force" right before she destroys those two clown inquistors!
I like how they use a different instrument almost every time. Shows how she grows and her circumstances change.
It's so great because whilst her theme will change every time she is in a new situation you can still her where it began in 2008
Thank the stars for Kevin Kiner. Without him, we wouldn't have Ashoka's beautiful damn themes.
I love this! I watched the Mandalorian before the final season of Clone Wars. I rewatched the Mandalorian and caught her theme song for the first time. DANG. I appreciate it so much.
Man, I’m so invested in her story that I can’t listen to her theme without ballin’ my eyes out.
Thank you so much for making this compilation!
I've rewatched every scene with her in it across every star wars media at least twice now, and it never occurred to me that she had a theme.
Her theme gives me chills every single time
I didn't even catch on to that until just now. I had no idea she had a theme.
Thanks for the video
Throughout everything these years, nothing gives me more goosebumps than Ahsoka's theme
I wonder if that'll be the main theme for the upcoming Ahsoka series, or at least a variation of it
And now we get a new one in the Ashoka show
She may have left the order, but Ahsoka will always be a Jedi Knight in my eyes
She is an embodiment of what the jedi should've been. God, I love her!
Wow watching it like that almost made me cry. Well done
Thank you so much!
Ahsoka has been my favourite character for years now and I hope she is done justice in her series.
Time to add her theme in the end credits theme for the Ahsoka series.
Not going to lie I didn’t like Ahsoka at first but man she’s one of my favorites. Thank you Dave and Jon
It's so strange that such a disliked character was changed so quickly by Dave Filoni to one of the most beloved ones
Beautiful .. thanks for putting that together.
Forgot to add the small piece that plays when she fights the inquisitors
1:31 😮
1:51 😢
All of these scenes are beautiful.
Brb, just gonna cry real quick.
Star Wars’ message of “Every Generation has a story…” always seems to focus on each trilogy, while in reality I think so many of us grew up to the animated shows, so deserving of a category of their own. I was born ‘03 so I was two when RoTS was released and definitely cannot remember any of it, yet the prequel era is the closest to my heart … Without Clone Wars, and all of the amazing characters I don’t think I would have become the Star Wars fan I am now ❤️
It also plays when she makes her entrance vs the Inquisitors
I wanted to fit that one in, along with the one with Rex’s reunion! Just disrupted the flow a bit too much for the edit, but that moment is still great! Was hard for me to cut it.
0:05-0:34 NEVER fails to bring a smile to my face while 0:50-1:29 and 2:38-3:11 NEVER fails to instantly bring tears to my eyes
It’s really sad buts it really good and worth it, she had one of the hardest lives
Man i wish i could experience clone wars
again
This song is the one that makes me cry and im sure many more people
That was awesome!
Excellent job putting together this!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
wow THANK YOU. I am a film score nerd and I had never heard this one. powerful!!!! so cool that Ludwig picked it up from Kiner
This also serves as a compilation of major scenes for Ahsoka.
I keep crying
You’re not alone. Her story is so moving & sad, in a hopeful kind of way.
Beautiful edit
Thank you so much for the support! 💙🧡
I keep forgetting Ahsoka even has a theme.
Ahsoka when she says I know before walking away from the senate. The most powerful moment in Star Wars
Anyone else get really emotional over the last scene? Ashoka’s all grown up now, just like us.
Can’t wait to hear her theme in ahsoka show they better bring this back it’s soooo good!
The question is why am I tearful ?
I literally cried when her theme started in Mandalorian 2
The dislikes are from everyone who doesn’t like Ahsoka
edit: when this comment was made there was zero dislikes
This just made my day!
@@thestarchivist glad to hear! now you made my day too ;)
still no dislikes
@@UltimatelyAllah just wanted to say that before a eventual dislike arrives and people are confused
It’s because TH-cam hides comment dislikes
I was so sad when Ahsoka left the Jedi Order, but I understood why. She felt hurt and betrayed by people she loved and respected.
It hits so hard in the mandalorian
Her theme song has to be the saddest melody in the world
