तो फिर इसे पूरी पटरी पर क्यों नहीं लगाते, ताकि कहीं भी derail हो तो भी कम नुक़सान हो। सिर्फ़ पुल या टनल के पास ही क्यों ? जान और माल के नुक़सान को तो कहीं भी कम करना चाहिए !
1) खर्चा बढ़ जाएगा 2) Main track maintenance में दिक्कत होगी 3) किसी जानवर का पैर फंस सकता है 4) ट्रैक waveform में भी होते है (coz of hunting oscillations) ऐसे हालात मै उल्टा ट्रेन गार्ड रेल पे चढ़कर डिरेल होजाएगी

Why not have this parallel structure on entire track? yes cost will increase but in case of derailment it will prevent train leaving the tracks entirely, right? (These days derailments have increased a lot!). Does it also prevent topelling of the engine or coach?
What you are thinking will not be right because instead of 2 tracks, there will be 4 tracks which will not only increase the cost but will also cause more inconvenience in maintenance. Also, more manpower will be required and due to 4 tracks, the chances of causing more damage to the train will increase.🙏thanks for watching

This structure is for avoiding major damage to the other structures which are alongside the rail tracks. Not for avoiding derailment.
