- Sorry guys, video isn’t made clear. To get the turbo out, take out the air filter box, disconnect and remove the cooling pipes to the turbo, both front and back, including from the intercooler, remove the EGR valve, remove the EGR housing, now undo the manifold screws, go underneath and remove one turbo securing screws, remove the oil feed (out )pipe underneath still, come up, remove the oil feed from the front of the engine. Ensure that you don’t drop the two washers, now remove the turbo - exhaust pipe clamp. Thats it.

Thank you for the information. Just a question. Can the actuator, if it gives problems, be removed without removing the turbo as well? My turbo was repaired a week ago, but they used my old actuator which is faulty.
Trying to find a secondhand actuator and just remove and replace, else there is so much money involved
Hello. Yes. It can be replaced easily without taking the turbo out
@@freshymail Thank you for the info. Greatly appreciated.
Does the manifold have to come out? Can i not just remove the turbo?
Hello. Yes, it’s possible to take replace the turbo without removing the manifold. But that is bound to be a little difficulty.
Hi, ive managed to take turbo out and have it rebuilt, ive fitted new turbo, and oil, let it idle for 20mins or so, took it for a drive and turbo wont boost until 3000rpm, all hoses are on etc, no leaks
@@shanehillman8773 did you adjust the actuator position?
@freshymail i had a go at adjusting it, but made no difference
@@freshymail if you have or can do a video on how to adjust, that would be great
