-What is Heat Remix?
Heat Remix is a game enhancement mod based on Need for Speed: Heat. It mainly makes changes in visual and customization, and enhances the gameplay experience.
And also for a learning project for the Frostbite Game Modding.

Man perfected the pursuits in Heat... Holy cow how I missed this kind of aggressiveness from Most Wanted and Carbon.
Hot take: those cops were actually super easy. They didnt ram into you as much. They just had a big arsenal of weapons
Rivals cops is where its at. And heat by default has some great cops already, gettin me at the edge of my seat. But most wanted cops are a walk in the park for me

I love that one of the improvements was changing “Busting” to “Bust Progress”

the pursuit system really does reminds me of Most Wanted 05. it's so aggresive and i like it!
This is just excellent in every way! However, I still do have some questions:
1) Can Heat Remix 1.6 be played alongside with UNITE mod enabled at the same time?
2) Is it possible to make particle effects (at least tire smoke particles) cast and receive dynamic shadows from the environment? Forza Horizon 5 is an excellent example of volumetric particles receiving realtime dynamic shadows, also some old rally games did this too (like, say, WRC 5, is quite an extreme example as well).
3) Can car body parts (like side mirrors) be self-reflected on the car body? I dunno, may be using screen-space reflections or something? IIRC, NFS15 & Payback had this visual feature.
4) And finally, is it possible to add advanced shadow filtering i.e. PCSS? Again, just like in one specific NFS Payback mod where shadows got progressively softer (and, vice versa, contact shadows were absolute sharp).
I also have the same question if it works with unite

love the mod. 10:34 do you plan on giving us the option to return the original car logos? i don't use the cop car addon
will look into it since its kind a hard to revent it
im following all the instructions but the mods are not showing up on FMM.. so i cant select / patch them
which mod would you guys say is better for Heat, UNITE or REMIX?

for some reason when i go to the dealership it shows the cars instead of the icons. is it different per pack? i have the story compatible one. also the mw gtr bmw add on isnt working for me. im using steam version. help please
icon has been change back to cars due to feedback

@@NFSLYY i forgot. do you know why the most wanted car isnt showing up in dealership? i have it in the frosty tool and changed priorities like the file said but nothing is there
i never modded a game i want to ask does this work on official game? or it have to be cracked one and i saw unite mod as well can it work with it?
