@stephen noonan They may have, but not anymore. It is eroded daily by their contempt and illogicality for each other. I would suggest that in the not too distant future, the US in parts will be worse off than areas of the middle east, with respect to opportunity, violence, political interruption and global irrelevancy.

We then transitioned into “old English” Anglo-Saxon (Vikings) then we transitioned Into “Middle English” which is much closer to the more modern tone you hear nowadays, a lot of french words entered our language in this period because of the Norman conquest of England in 1066. Mr. Rees-Mogg rightfully said that his company doesn't run any hedge fund and accused the Leader of the Opposition of being a peddler of false news and possibly, guilty of "terminological inexactitude". Bercow was ecstatic about the phrase and praised Rees-Mogg for using it due to its historical significance (it was firstly said by Winston Churchill in 1906). It was a very funny moment due to Bercow's enthusiastic reaction with his characteristic voice. A pitty that the particular incident was not included...A great video though...

JRM doesn't want to be PM. Theres a certain type of politician. Who would rather sit on the back benches, making the odd witty comment and steering as far away from any responsibility as possible. That said, he does wield power. As part of the erg. He has successfully been holding the Tory Party hostage for years. And bought about the biggest constitutional change our country has seen in generations. Something he probably couldn't have done as PM. So he gets what he wants and any blame, if it goes wrong can be laid at the PM's feet. Hmmnnn clever bloke!

JRM is a superior orator to the speaker in my view. The speaker is constantly pausing to search for the right words and often doesn't come up with the best one availiable. He also strains every word as if he's trying to constrain some sort of volcanic internal rage. JRM on the other hand looks to be relaxed and is able to select the better fitting word. The bit where he politely tells off Corbyn for misleading the house is a prime example, JRM's timing in that clip was worthy of a comedian.
I have a feeling that once Brexit occurs and a GE happens, providing the Tories are in the majority and Bercow steps down, JRM will be a perfect fit as the new speaker.

Jacob Rees-Mogg looks like he was in the room of the London Reform Club when Phileas Fogg made that 20,000 pound wager...

Jacob Reese Mog is a politician of great honesty and integrity and when he talks in the House of Commons everyone listens .There is no dark or self serving side to him as there is many other politicians who quite frankly couldn’t give a damn about democracy but are purely out for there own self gain and couldn’t care less about the people who elected them.We all know who these people are and hopefully when Boris Johnson gets us out of Europe on the 31 October we can weed out these shameful and hateful politicians who hate and loathe our great country so much

I think some people have been listening to too much GB news and have now been brainwashed . He may be a model for most 2:25 upper class British people but he has all the professionalism of a 12 year old if you don’t believe me you ought to see the video of him lying down on the benches of parliament and him having his phone out in parliament as well

Jacob Rees-Mogg is the real deal. Bercow is a pretentious upstart with delusions of grandeur.

Ditto.....I’ve always questioned the authenticity of when he came up with that ancient 1604 law to stop a further Brexit vote.
I don’t think so......JRM would have him for breakfast.
