That was hilarious Adam! 🤣🤣🤣 The Delta flyer isn't the only space ship with the TARDIS issue...the Puddle jumper in SG Atlantis has the retractable thrusters that should fill the interior! Love the look of the Delta flyer though! Sexiest shuttle ever! 🖖😁🤘🇨🇦
Thank you this is great :) The Deltaflyer had so many inconsistencies that it took me a lot of time to fix all of them and make it work with all the details from the show.
That intro...🔥🔥🔥 Also, in regards to Harry...if they had taken decades to get back, Voyager would have arrived home with a ship full of Captains, Admirals, and one Ensign.
According to the novel Over a Torrent Sea, the Delta Flyer-type shuttle were called the Flyer-class. The USS Titan also had at least one such shuttle, the Horne.
@@vic5015True, it isn't intended for the independent operation that runabouts were. But, otherwise, it is closer to the scale and capabilities of a runabout than a shuttle. Which was the very idea.
The Delta Flyer _has_ been through a ton of abuse throughout its service on Voyager. Also, how many shuttles can Voyager hold in her launchbay, and how many was she assigned at launch?
@@vic5015Across the entire series there were about 10 shuttles destroyed in some way, its standard complement was about 5 so it’s clear they just rebuilt any they lost. Weeks and months pass between each episode so more than enough time to build stuff!
They certainly had *plenty* of opportunities to figure out what *didn't* work. How many shuttles did Voyager lose in the Delta Quadrant? Like 50? I swear, they must've had the Protostar's vehicle replicator.
So, not only could they store a bunch of standard shuttles, they also had room for the Delta Flyer, AND Neelix's beat-up old jalopy as well? Interesting 🤔
The best ‘shuttle’ in Trek history by far. Yes it’s bigger inside but the same can be said for literally all the other sets in Star Trek! A great storyline too.
Actually I would like to see a video on the different small craft we see both in the shows and STO like the different shuttlecraft, the fighters, Captain yaut etc
would/should the Delta flyer still be classified as a Shuttle or a Runabout (or even a scout ship) it's bigger then a normal shuttle, faster, more armed, has an escape pod (shuttles do not)?
I like the Delta Flyer better than the design of the Defiant on Deep Space Nine (however the Defiant is much bigger). The Delta Flyer is a more stylish ship.

They go into the seats!
.... or something. 😂
... lantians were advanced! Mini wormholes!

Hey Mr Brainbox, glad you got to see your work further appreciated. Love the time you've put it to showing us what we don't get to see
Your work is fantastic. I look forward to every update. ❤
It is so good you're up and about again. Hope you're alright after some downtime and now ready to give us some videos Lt Adam 🤟🏻💪🏻
Every small craft set is bigger on the inside. That's pretty much tradition at this point.
Except for the Type 15 shuttle. That thing is just a Mini Cooper in space.
The Federation somehow got their hands on Timelord technology!
I would love to see a breakdown of the Federation Scout Ship from Star Trek: Insurrection. Small Federation ships don't get enough attention.
Adam got his batteries on FULL! 😁
Another enjoyable Video!
That intro...🔥🔥🔥

Lt. Cmdr. Adam, your videos of Starfleet ships are the best
Can you do one on the U.S.S. Achilles from the Dominion War CPU game?
According to the novel Over a Torrent Sea, the Delta Flyer-type shuttle were called the Flyer-class. The USS Titan also had at least one such shuttle, the Horne.
I always thought this thing was a Runabout, not a Shuttle.
Nick Locarno will always be the best character on this series :D
Don't think the Fryer is intended for longer-duration missions the way the Danube-class is.
@@vic5015they did take a vacation trip to Unimatrix 1 so that is a bit of a long Trek in the Stars ;)

What?! A video I suggested and I've missed it this whole time??! *Face palms*! Wow! Thank you for doing this one. Man, I need to get caught up.
Was always hoping for an updated flyer class in Picard or STO.
The Delta Flyer _has_ been through a ton of abuse throughout its service on Voyager. Also, how many shuttles can Voyager hold in her launchbay, and how many was she assigned at launch?
As for number of shuttles in Voyager, check out “Inside Voyager” by HalfScreen. There’s two videos, and both shows how many were inside Voyager.
It's amazing the Voyager's shuttles even fit. Neelix's ship was in there too.
Space I'd not an issue. The other shuttles lasted a single episode. 2 max.
Maybe the crew enlarged the shuttle bay? This is a ship full of engineers and scientists, I’m sure sure it’s within their capabilities!
@@vic5015Across the entire series there were about 10 shuttles destroyed in some way, its standard complement was about 5 so it’s clear they just rebuilt any they lost. Weeks and months pass between each episode so more than enough time to build stuff!
Ahhh.....a reference to red drarf. I'm happy, now😊
Just like Defiant the Delta Flyer's size is plot sized.
Quoting J. Michael straczynski on Babylon 5's Starfuries: "They move at the speed of plot."
I had sort of wondered if we would see some Flyers in Picard as auxiliary craft bit they stuck with the more traditional shuttle.
Right? Like, the delta flyer is an excellent shuttle.
Starbug is the best... Trek would only be lucky to have something as iconic, and resilient...

Star trek shuttlebays were really just enormous, duranium-coated Bags of Holding.
We have a similar sense of humor.
The Delta Flyier was the G O A T..
I love starbug
Yeah 👍🏼 Adam
I honestly believe they had no idea what to do with Chakotay.
Cheers Adam
Nice of Capt Shack to let you out of the brig.
Industrial replicators can knock out a type 2 in a day. They are ikea shuttles.
That was always my head canon. The Flyer, runabouts etc are not ikea.
Great info. It's been years since I've seen VOY. I like the Chaffee shuttle type design better tho.
Do the Aeroshuttle next
Would be fun to see a breakdown of the ships that carried the name Excalibur.
Adam is the best!
Janeway would do anything for coffee. Except, of course, give Harry Kim a promotion.
(I did steal that joke, and I'm not sorry.)
What does Tuvok know about hot rods?
I think Delta F, is more similar to runaboats, than to the shuttles...
The best ‘shuttle’ in Trek history by far. Yes it’s bigger inside but the same can be said for literally all the other sets in Star Trek! A great storyline too.
Dont stop me dont stop me
can you do a video on future janeways shuttle. the one used by admiral janeway to travel into the past
But LOVE the "microtorpedoes" onboard.

why didnt they use the captains shuttle more in these shows???
I read somewhere that Voyager's captain's shuttle was "due to be fitted on Tuesday".
In the case of TNG, Budget constraints. In the case of Voyager? Something something something plot. 😂
They even created a cgi scene for the Voyagers Captains Yacht.
So they probably wanted to use it at some point but then decided not to.
I like the Delta Flyer better than the design of the Defiant on Deep Space Nine (however the Defiant is much bigger). The Delta Flyer is a more stylish ship.
Says he'll explain the Aero Shuttle. Does not explain the Aero Shuttle.
We're getting to that, don't worry 😉
id like to see the uss defiant ds9 version
Starbug ❤️
why don't federation ships have fighter squandrens like other Spacefairing civilizations
Why was there only one?
A "hot rod"... Oooooooh MY.
*The delta flyer .... Uss Chuck Norris!!*
Aerodynamic 😂
You sound like Kelsey Grammer, or should I say Captain Bateson
Insertion of snarky Tuvok Quotes reminds me of another channel entirely :)
One that thinks a lot of things are 'to stupid to exist'
"...try saying that 17 times fast..."
Its a sexy ship

How about the Duderstadt🤨😉?
