Great video and very impressive skills. I love that you're working with a basic coal fire forge, and your anvil is genius! It proves you really don't need high tech equipment to forge useful tools. I have to say though, when you first stuck the steel deep into the fire BARE HANDED I thought, "this guy is SERIOUSLY badass."

Your forge was amazing! You used pine cones to start it which was so cool and you also did not use any machines that need power. you are really underrated

I think the forging is amazing, but the hanging of it is dangerous. There are visible gaps. It needs a much larger wooden wedge and then a metal wedge. In an ideal world it would have a tapered eye and no wedge at all.
The work here is really nicely performed, and i like how you make axes from everyday objects! It is really relaxing to watch how you do your magnificent job, it makes me want a snack when i watch! I love how you not grind or mill the axe, but just sharpen the edges and the pick up front, but just leave the rest of the axe untouched! That, by the way, gives a really nice look to the final product. Keep up the good work! Greetings from a Norwegian family in The Netherlands on Summer vacation!

My wife’s grandfather made one of these. Called it his elk hatchet. Said the spike was to save bullies to finish an animal.. He used the blade side to help break up the carcass. Handle was just a bit shorter, spike slightly longer, elk skin cover for the bed.
Боже, как всё естественно..
Просто великолепно!
Лайк!
