We have one of these in out shop.. It gets used on ALL sorts of materials and is so handy. Once you have one, you will wonder how you did without.

They're just the ticket for some hack body work, that's for sure.

Chucky needs to discover air swivel fittings. They're good for everything except air chisels. Those you want a whip on. Air couplers directly on tools are to be avoided at all costs.

Like most saws you need to fallow it along with something like WD40 to help the teeth clean out in aluminum.
It is handy when you can't get a sawzall into a tight spot.

The blades are the weak link in that system. I cut hacksaw blades into 3 pieces, and that works better than the OEM blades.

You need pretty fine toothed blades for air body saws. The stroke of the saw is pretty short. It's really made just for cutting sheet metal. Keeping 3 teeth on thin gauge sheet metal you need very fine pitch blades. The angle of the dangle cutting is critical with them.

I wonder if you lowered the air pressure would the blade slow down and last longer can’t hurt to try it

The saw has a regulator on it for speed control. It's just like a valve. Balls to the wall seems to be par for the course running them. You can spread the wear out some by kind of sawing with it by hand as you run it. I think I tossed that blade guide wire bale thing on mine.
