My 2020 Hyundai Kona was at Reliable Hyundai in Springfield Missouri for over 1 1/2 years. It only had 6500 miles on it and under full warranty. The dealership experience was horrible. The excuse, week after week, month after month, was that the couldn’t get approval from Hyundai Customer Care. Only after getting an attorney involved, did they finally take the car back. During that time, they didn’t give me a loaner vehicle. I spent over $16,000 for 1 1/2 years of rental car expenses. I was expecting full reimbursement, but they only reimbursed $4000. What a scam! I finally went down the street and bought a Toyota Camry. I learned a lesson. I hope you avoid what I experienced.

That's horrible! I'm so sorry that happened to you. I have a 2020 Kona AWD with 1.6 liter. I LOVE this car.
I bought a 2006 Camry around 2008 and have driven it without a single fault since then. That's 17 years and almost 150,000km of worry-free driving. I don't even know any Toyota service centers.
Thank you so much friend, was making up my mind for a Hyundai Tucson. It's clear now. I believe that in my case, Toyota Rav4 is the way to go. Hope you get many many years troublefree with your new Toyota Camry. Thanks again.
I have same car 2020 kona and same problem and i have no money to get another car atm, im just adding oil every few days. my friends 2016 rav4 is excellent, shouldve bought a Toyota... :(
2:32 lol i had my kona get stuck in 4th gear noticed the slamming into gears at 23,468 miles on it they took care of it because of the warranty thank god

my friend has a 23 kona with the turbo motor. it quit running and we thought it was outta gas. i put gas in it and she has no power, can’t go faster than 20mph. i told her it’s in limp home mode and probably the high pressure fuel pump or turbo.
Hola desde España, he conocido vuestra página por pura suerte y me gustaría deciros el problema que tengo con mi coche, tengo un Hyundai Kona desde el 2019 es un tricilindrico de 998 cc 120 cv gasolina, y desde hace un año vengo observando como gasta mas gasolina, el ralentí inestable y ha perdido potencia, lo he llevado a la marca y no me han solucionado el problema.
He visto un vídeo que ustedes han presentado, con los problemas de los hyundai desde hace unos años, y me gustaría saber si este problema que tiene mi coche se ha presentado con más usuarios del kona como el mío. Y si me pueden ustedes ayudar para saber donde puede estar el problema. Gracias y un saludo desde España.

Common 12V auxiliary battery failure - car won't unlock, won't start
"Check electric vehicle system" yellow triangle sign. Possibly related to 12V battery issue
"Check regenerative brakes" warning. Possible complete brakes failure. No codes. Faulty ABS module.
Reduction angle gear wear and failure (clicking noise).
Electric motor bearings failure on 2018-2020 models (whining noise)
Main Li-Ion battery failure on models outside the recall window (dash malfunction message)

My car is completely stalling and dies as i drive no one can figure out why at this point im reaching out to hyundai for help but i’m weary

Am having that problems now the dealership say there are no oil in the car,which I get an oil change regularly. The dealership say you need to changes transmission fluid every 5,000 mi. Which will cost over 200. I brought my car in 2020. That is not the problem I will be looking to trade my auto. Hyundai have too many issues!!!
I had that problem with two of my Kia’s and with my Hyundai Kona
