Liam Neeson stars in Retribution, an immersive ticking clock thriller that straps audiences in for a high-octane ride of redemption and revenge.
When a mysterious caller puts a bomb under his car seat, Matt Turner (Neeson) begins a high-speed chase across the city to complete a specific series of tasks. With his kids trapped in the back seat and a bomb that will explode if they get out of the car, a normal commute becomes a twisted game of life or death as Matt follows the stranger’s increasingly dangerous instructions in a race against time to save his family.

They need to keep making these with different vehicles: perhaps one where he gets a shadowy phone call while in a canoe ("don't even think about coming ashore until you've killed the other people in the canoe!")... or one where an unknown puppet master contacts him on the Space Shuttle ("If you don't perform these specific zero-g experiments as I've described, your oxygen will be terminated!")
Frankly, I'd see all of them!

This was actually probably the WORST movies I’ve seen so far in 2023. My freakin’ god. The plot…the dialogue…the REALLY unrealistic acting and reactions to things…it was all bad lol. Who directed and wrote this?
Yeah man, I was exited when read the plot at first in the movie description, but they executed it…weirdly.
It was annoying as heck to hear that “bad guy” low pitched voice all the time. And in the finale it felt like they just wanted to end the movie fast and abandoned all the logic.
And then they leave us hanging with these final weird titles and music subtly playing.
I’m usually down for a Liam Neeson thriller type of stuff but this movie is just 4/10.
This never gets old. It’s like coming home after a long day. Home sweet home you know. Can’t wait.

The actor in that scene is Matthew Modine, he's a very famous actor from the '80s and '90s who decided to retire after a point and mostly does cameos now. You should look up some of his films.
