I own Punch Accomplished MT. The owner is driving his car in ECO mode. He should drive the car in city mode. We have travelled 100 Km from showroom to my home on a highway with a speed of 90 km/hr and we did not even felt that engine is lagging. The suspension is top notch and drive comfort is superb. Best car you can get at this price that too with 5 star safety rating. I agree with the owner about mileage. I am getting 10 km. I hope after first service, it will improve.

Good work. I would prefer this and Tiago any day over a tin box like the new Celerio or SPresso. I myself have a Tiago and it saved my life when I was hit by a bus. There were surprisingly no major damage but only a minor dent in the front left fender. My brother was there who drives Maruti and said that if it was something like SPresso, it would have been extremely bad. Look, nobody looks forward to an accident but anything can happen on Indian roads, so believe me, safety matters, talking from experience. And also, Tiago offers great mileage too! I myself get around 22 kmpl on highways with AC on, and around 15 to 17 in City.

In latest generation, Maruti has also improved steel gauge and they are thicker. Price didn't increase for nothing. Tata has unrefined engine, poor after sell service, poor resell value and poor milage and vibrations thanks to unrefined engine.
Nobody considers safety until they go through something bad. I would highly recommend safety over mileage and resale value.

It's a beautiful car, but as a suggestion avoid buying a newly launched vehicle for atleast 6 months to a year. Own a Tiago NRG n I've got 19kmpl on the expressway with 4 adults n a kid n speed of 100kmph.
No doubt Tata has changed a lot and is making superb quality cars, but I believe they must give distinctive looks to every new car they release. Harrier, Safari, Punch, and even the new Nexon, they all are like quite similar in terms of design.
Thats the lineage they carry. It's with almost all vehicle manufacturers.

Whatever he said about plastic quality is quite true. I have a 2019 tiago xza+ and plastic gets white in every couple of days. I have to regularly keep polishing the plastic parts to keep them dark.

I m a owner of Tata car for last 12 years. First indica and now since 2017 Hexa. One thing I should say that the customer care at showroom and at service centre has a huge difference. In showroom you are treated as celebrities and at service centre as street side buyers.
Ya I 100% agree with you as our first car was Tata safari storm and second altroz and then even not supply fog lamps😅😅.
Bro, I went to to showroom in Pune, MH to see Punch.. The experience I had was pathetic.. Nobody was paying attention to any customer.. All were busy in ignoring.. I was like, if we're getting this kind of treatment before buying, God knows what will happen after buying.. Took a turn and went for Hyundai.
Nexon was my 1st choice, but my experience at showroom was so bad that I decided not to buy it. Pathetic sales people tata has hired. Ended up buying i20 turbo, nice car I must say,

A lot of buyers want feature loaded car and nexon with features will cost around 12-13. So 3-4 lakhs more.

12-13 mileage , had me there, sorry too expensive , fuel cost also adds up for ownership experience , so should stick to normal hatch backs with good mileage, else go for premium hatchback and shouldnt think about fuel

@@neerajjoshi8590 bhai mere pass hai xuv 300, and you won't believe I have covered NH 44 which is almost 3745 either side. I traveled Faridabad to Chennai and Chennai to Katra J&K.
I never felt that boot spce is the issue but yes it compare to other in the segment islt is less,, when I saw that my second raw co-passanger was very much comfortable dur to good amount of leg room and thai support which is best in sub4 meter category. We had a 2 month of luggage of 3 passanger and travelled accross 11 States.
I bought Diesel w4 varient at 10.25 lakh in may 27- 2021

Safety is just for mental peace but everyday you will think about ki gaadi nikaale ya na nikaale. 10-12 ka mileage is not practical with today's fuel prices. I am TATA Nexon petrol owner and I feel like it was a mistake to go through such reviews. Hyundai and Maruti have cars which you can drive around .

He probably didn't have good opinion on tata back then, and you don't know when he bought nexon. The old Nexon didn't look so good, he probably went with Venue for looks and features.
Kuch b bolo chalane me maza nai deta tata ka petrol engine tata lena h to diesel only. Tiago se leke Nexon tk ek hi engine lga rai h, tata sunne me achha h bas, chalne me nai. Agr city me hi below 70 chlna h to maruti hi leleta. 9 lakh me punch lene wale aadmi nahi ajooba h.
Why does a three cylinder engine come with such cars where the name itself demands performance. Tata must revisit the branding and the tag line. In case of Safari too they made a blunder by offering monocoque chassis and absence of 4WD. Disappointed by this so called changes done by TATA.
