    “Not a bad way to spend the evening” Matt says after fishing in the solitude of this beautiful lake and getting more than quite a good catch. A marvellous video as always, a nice ride on a kayak hearing the relaxing sound of the paddled water, the calm comments of this man which do not distract you from the fishing action and the joy of the natural scenery at sunset like this mirror surfaced lake.
    I love the frog but my favourite topwater lure is a prop lure, particularly the Rapala Skitter Prop which provided me with unforgettable moments in september.

    That frog bite can be fun and frustrating at the same time. I appreciate your sharing the frustrating part and not editing it out to post 10 minutes of your "greatest hits" instead. Helps us all realize if it was all catching and less fishing than we'd never learn anything. Thanks for the evening trip Matt.

    If there's ever a question whether a lure belongs to me, just look for "file marks" on the hooks. It's one of the top tips I ever learned. In fact it came from Minnesota's own Al Linder who enabled the noticeable increase in my "strike/catch ratio" with little effort. Great video Matt; made lunchtime much better. *God bless.*

    • @ndyakangler
      @ndyakangler  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Now that I think about it the couple times I really hammered the fish at that last spot the wind was blowing into that side of the lake most of the day until it died down the last hour or two before sunset. We had a couple 50+ fish evenings just sitting in that channel fishing the frog through there. On this trip it was calm all day so that could be a reason why there were only a few fish there. I think the water was about 6” higher back then too though.
