Rog i'm Douglas are you going to becoming back to Dunbar anytime soon i hope you are love your videos i hope that if you do a nother Dunbar video you could give a huge great big shoutout to me
@douglaswilliams1979 Thanks for watching. I’ve done a few videos in Dunbar so I need to think of a new angle. It’s such a pretty town, I hope ScotRail put the trains back on again soon. 😀
I've never been to Dunbar but yet again you've done this place justice so I'm definitely going for a couple of days this summer .... another amazing video roj.... Thanks my friend.....Richard in Newcastle upon Tyne 😊
I am a new subscriber,we go to dunbar to visit from edinburgh and when I was young I went to the open air pool in the 70s in dunbar, you can still see the rock and surronding part of and it fills with sea water.
Happy New Year. That's great you can now get down to Dunbar from Wallyford. My brother-in-law grew up in Dunbar. Thanks for sharing, especially where you can eat/drink! And yes, those waves were impressive! 👍
Fun fact: Dunny is the Australian slang word for a toilet, so I guess a Sunny Dunny would be an open air one... lol. Seriously - this looks like a nice place to visit. Love the old buildings.
I've generally thought recently that Dunbar is actually now a much more interesting town than North Berwick but it really doesn't get enough attention. I enjoyed your previous video about Dunbar as well including the bridge to nowhere. I do like the main street especially the sweet/ice cream shop TBH. I went in the old town house recently as well and I got lost trying to find the old jail. It makes for a good day out combined with East Linton. I did the John Muir Way between Preston Mill and Dunbar in June before I finished up at someone's house in Dunbar.
I went to North Berwick today partly as I really wanted to climb the Law and it was well worth it. There are lots of coffee places etc in North Berwick (Steampunk, Bostock bakery etc) but the walks in Dunbar are a lot more interesting particularly the 'path' coming in from the west from the John Muir Way. So much to explore.
What do you think of Dunbar? Is there a better seaside town in Scotland? Let me know in the comments below.

Love watching the power of the sea!!!
Mesmerising! And sometimes a little scary as well as exhilarating! 😀
An incredible little seaside town, one of my favourite places in Scotland.
One of my favourites. Thanks for watching. 😀

I am Norwegian and have ancestry that came from Dunbar a long time ago. It seems to be a really nice little town. I hope to get there someday ❤
It’s a fabulous little town. And a great base for exploring East Lothian. Hope you get very some day. Thanks for watching.
saw the look of utter contentment when you were stood looking by the sea and those amazing waves 🌊
I just love being near the sea. It’s therapeutic - even when it’s raw and powerful like it was that day! 😀
So many interesting places near Edinburgh. Thanks for sharing your videos 😊
My pleasure 😊

Hi Ernie - thanks so much. I’ve seen photos of the open air pool. It’s a shame it’s been lost. I really appreciate your comments! 😀

Ha ha! I never thought of that! 😂😂 Thanks for watching.

I love North Berwick too - but I agree, Dunbar just edges it! 😀

Steam Punk is exceptional! ☕️
Dungbar the harbour stinks to the high heaven’s. North Berwick by a country mile.
I’m way too attached to St Andrews to think Dunbar comes close, but it is an interesting place.
I’ve never been to St Andrews, Chris! Much to my shame. Something I must rectify! ☺️
@@RogEdwardsTV Maybe because the train doesn’t go there!
It may return some day.
Guess who the brewer was who "invented" Belhaven Best?
🤔
