An Icy Doll is a knock off blythe doll with the same style of eyemech, but a different face shape! Just a cheaper doll made to compete

I love them all. Id call your favorite Violet and the little red haired would be Mia. I got a blythe for free from a very nice woman. Sge customized her for me and because I would never would have bought myself one because of low budget that made me so so so very happy. I named her Joy. Cause thats what she is. Pure hearttouching joy.

Yes soooo True,lol!!! I have 10 custom made Blythe dolls half of them on the regular posable body and the other hale of a Azone body. My sister and I played with these dolls when we where children, so to see them now and more improved with custom face ups is Awesome! I love the crazy color hair and eye chips and the wild clothes,lol!!!! Love Love Love Dolls!!!!!

Couldn't agree more when you said they're addicting. I originally thought they're weird with their oversized heads. Then I thought I'd get _one_ purely for photography because of their colour changing eyes. Well, I'm about to order my third, not to mention owning a full set of customising tools lol. I'm a beginner with a full time job though, so right now all I've done is sanding the back plate. Baby steps :) Btw I like the red head best, followed by Satan.

I love your Blythe dolls. I only have two that I bought years ago from eBay. The body of my dolls are stiff. They don’t move like yours do. I like Satan and the redhead. If I ever get a custom one I will get a redhead one.

Thanks for watching! there are quite a few videos on youtube about factory vs stock blythe dolls! please go check therm out as they are quite good! not sure if ill make a video as i dont have a stock blythe doll anymore to use as a comparison :( but yes, they will come nude. quality can vary per doll. but overall i prefer factory over stock blythes. you can get more hair colors, style & textures. plus i dont feel bad changing their eye chips and such :)

So cute! I'm new to Blythe, my first ones haven't arrived yet, but what is the easiest way to remove eye chips? I see a lot of people just prying them out, but then you might scratch the eye whites, right? Thanks! Great video =)
Please search this on TH-cam! There are wonderful videos out there to help you with that! Most people heat up a glue stick and press it against the eye chips. Wait for it to try. Then pull and twist out the eye chips!

how do you matte spray your Blythe doll??????
I take apart their heads and separate the face plates. I’ll take off the scalp and remove the eyes and eyelids. And I go back and forth in even coats with Matte spray. You have to do a few coats to fully get rode of the shine. It’s so much easier than taking sand paper to their faces!

No the factory dolls will have the same eye mechanism like the official takara Blythe dolls where the eyelids pop back after you pull her string

Is there any way to modify it so it can stay closed?
Yes! Have you taken a Blythe apart yet? There is a spring that attaches to the back of the head. All you have to do it remove the spring and add a long string and feed it through the square opening on the back of the head! This will allow you to pull the original string to close her eyes (and they will stay closed) until you pull the new string to open her eyes.
