Hello, As a teacher of RP and LARP, Im glad I found your play through of this game. I am so far loving that fact you've explained your backstory, not talking through in game dialogue, giving brief statements/commentary as to not break immersion and giving short explanations to your decisions at the dialogue options as to not break immersion, plus it gives us watching a perspective of how your playing your character. Finally someone on utube that is getting it right so far! Looking forward to watching your play through of the trilogy. Keep it up 👍
Wow I can’t begin to express how much of a delight it is to know this series is reaching such a perfect audience. Also the feedback is so appreciated, this is basically exactly what I hoped to achieve. Thanks so much and glad to have you aboard 🫡
My head canon is shepherd NEVER works with Cerberus (especially if they’re a sole survivor). I could make the argument ME2 is the reason for the ending turning out the way it did. Cerberus should’ve been the villains of ME2 instead of the collectors
ME2 laid the foundation for everything you loved about the last game, all of the characters and species that made the moments so impactful were all carried by 2's world building and character focus. The problem you have could have been fixed with a post suicide mission DLC where Cerberus betrays you and their change between games (especially if you saved the CB) makes far more sense, plus you get to give Sole Survivor Shepards (like mine) the vengeance and retribution they always wanted as TIM pulled his shit. Also let's not forget ME3 was made in two years and no matter what 2 did the ending and development of Cerberus as villains was never going to be good based on that.
I'm really glad I found this series! I'm playing through for the first time, (just about to finish the second game) and I can't wait to see how a veteran of the series does things!
@@EvilOverlord1662 thanks so much for the kind comment. I’m so overjoyed you found the series also, it’s such an amazing story and the player community is excellent.
Me personally, I always choose the Colonist backstory because of Talitha’s mission. It’s still one of the most emotional moments in the trilogy to me, because Shepard can heal and help her heal through the conversation even as a renegade. I do however agree with sole survivor, that’s the one where Shepard’s the most human in their origin.
@@MTJDisorderit also pairs really well with sole survivor in an “everyone I’ve ever cared about is dead” kind of way that makes roleplay a lot more fun. At least, for me it does. I really am excited to see where this goes. It’s really compelling and I’m very curious as to where your Shepard goes
I was in camp 3. Those who desperately held on to the indoctrination theory until it started to fall apart. Today I made my peace with the destroy ending. The devs implementing every choice into the ending is unrealistic. Even tho a little more variety in the visuals after making the choice would have been nice.
Indoctrination theory can still be on the table in my opinion. It’s the one theory that even the devs wouldn’t be able to admit to because ya know… indoctrination 😂
11:43 surpisingly a lot of people hate custom sheps, and I never got it. The character customizer isnt the best ever but i make some solid sheps every time male or female. For me my canon is FemShep Colonist, Sole Survivor, Infiltrator or Vanguard. Her morality isnt perfect. Shes often mean to people she doesnt know (especially batarians due to background) but very nice to those she sees as victims of evil and also to her crewmates. Usially makes for a 66/33 morality split.
Much appreciated! I will be releasing these every second Saturday for now. If the demand gets high enough I might do weekly. Either way you can expect part 2 this Saturday!
I didn't know canon Shepard was a biotic i always thought the canon class was soldier i find it funny the only time you're class ever makes a difference in the story is in the omega dlc in ME3 and only if you're an engineer anyway i love the idea of this play through. I am very curious how you will explain Shepard working with Cerberus in ME2
Oh he’s biotic by canon but soldier is just a Shepard who never learned to use them. Unless you pic a biotic bonus power that is. Glad you’re liking it. Can’t wait to get to editing the ME2 bits.

Oh for sure. This play through has a middling relationship with Cerberus at best.
I liked Cerberus. Would like to go full dark and join them
