I really don’t understand these cases and the absolute incompetence in how they’re handled, it’s bordering on criminal if you ask me. Also these morons who keep getting themselves talked into making false confessions should surrender their drivers license, voting rights and have basically every part of their lives overseen and approved by a guardian or something. These people aren’t capable to make decisions for themselves. I get that they put you under pressure but a fully competent person should be able to withstand that. We’re not extracting these confessions through torture like in the Middle Ages so there’s really no excuse for this nonsense.

If this murder happened before 2007, then the murderer is pretty much free even if new evidence is found.. they got a 15 yr statute that changed in 2007to 25 years.. which just recently got abolished a few years ago in 2015. so if it was commited between 2007-2015 or thereafter, we might find justice… MAYBE.

I wouldn't be surprised if both Anna and Kenzi knew more than they admitted. Maybe they were in on the crime, maybe they were threatened by the actual perpretator(s). If the perpretator was a member of the military, it's plausible that he would be able to threaten young women to the point that they wouldn't tell police about him.

It's not unheard of or even uncommon for American men to commit crimes rooted in misogyny when they visit Asian countries. It's unfortunately typically against locals but I definitely believe they should have done much more investigation towards the potential American soldier who may have been present at the time. I think they may have wanted to pin it on someone else just to avoid the politics of attempting to prosecute an American soldier. Our troops have been caught doing utterly deplorable things in Thailand, South Korea and Japan. They commit violence and then get away with it just by... leaving the country. Or returning to their base.

@@FrostRare Oh for sure. I knew I was forgetting a major country in there. American soldiers and even tourists go to Asian countries and just...lose their minds I swear. Anywhere there's a base, crime follows. Which is not a popular take to have but it happens often enough that it feels like a valid criticism. I actually think Thailand and the Philippines get it the worst from the cases I've heard of so I appreciate you adding that in.

Did the defense ever discuss the shoe size? I know americans are tall, but size 9 is not that usual amongst women, right? It could be an additional argument to plead not-guilty, if the semen wasn’t already enough evidence a male was at the crime scene.
I kept asking myself about the shoe size until the end, since according to the state of the body the boots are clearly incriminating evidence and what made all the aggression even worse.

Mere speculations but could this be a case of college bullying gone wrong? Could Kenzi and Micheal be an item, Kenzi the leader of the group and could want to bully Jamie because maybe Micheal was interested? maybe Kenzi wanted revenge on Jamie and she and Micheal could have been bullying Jamie together but it ended up with Jamie dead? Also could it be possible that Anna have been the witness of the bullying but was so traumatized she kept quiet at beginning, then after she was scared of being sued for false statement and maybe participating even passively in the bullying so she kept quiet? This incident is so mysterious it doesn't seem possible that Anna was there and the criminal let her off the hook because she was sleeping...I mean wouldn't the perpetrator be afraid Anna is pretending to sleep and may have seen who they are??

Didn´t they checked Kenzi´s boots and compared it?
After this given facts it seems nearly obviously that one or more of the american soldiers done this cruel murder. 🤔
Unfortunately the room was cleaned afterwards that was so stupid, or just calculated?!
Because it could possibly be arranged to destroy evidence directly and forcing Kenzi to a wrong testamony. Maybe just because of avoiding a diplomatic conflict, this could be a possible theory and it wouldn´t be the first case that way.
However, poor Jamie it´s a shame. Everybody should have the right to party and stay safe and being well te next day! 😢

Why didn't police check that semen and Michael's DNA??? Front desk lady, the motel manager's wife confirmed that seeing Michael leaving the motel with blood on his pants. According to Finnish girl who stayed in the room right next to the crime scene mentioned that American man's voice saying , "but you are here now," ...... someone saying "let's go," .... the sound of at least 2 people's footsteps and a woman's moans, it means a group of people involve in this crime. Michael, Anna, Kenzi, US marine soldiers might involve. Michael, Anna and Kenzi were selling Jamie to marine soldiers? Or Anna and Kenzi tried to sell Jamie to Michael? It is similar to Thai actress Thamonida murder case. Her manager as well as her best friend tried to sell her and the killing happened but at the end, it's accident and not murder case. All involved people lied and covered up the true incident.

Though my heart breaks for Jamie, I know it was one of those US servicemen, it’s so blatantly obvious, unfortunately her family will never see justice because that would require US laws enforcement, particularly federal law enforcement, to admit that the interrogation methods used are antiquated, resulting in a MISTAKE being made at the expense of foreign relation relations, and the potential of an innocent girl’s freedom. Also that the REID method is flawed and should have been changed a long time ago!

It doesn’t mean that no blood trace on your clothes means you are not the killer , they have said that they’re might be a lesbian , and some witnesses said that they heard a man’s voice saying “but you are here now” followed by a moaning sound means there is really 2 suspects which could be a woman and a man. During that time, Kenzi might introduced herself to Jamie without a clothing which lead to no trace of blood from her .. just saying

to solve this crime: kenzi is telling the truth. because sometimes our memories can make fake scenarios that can lead to confession to be made out of fear or guilt.
    killer is Micheal
    Anna is also innocent
    secretary is telling the truth.
    case closed!
