I imagine a lot of multi generational farmers want to see the land farmed by younger generations. It is hard work and the dedicated are the only ones who can prosper and succeed.
It occurs to me that we, your subscribers, are fortunate in many ways. We learn a great deal about farming. We are witness to a great love story unfolding before us. We anticipate the growth of a new farm for You, Grant and your family. You make it clear, on a daily basis, how much love matters: farming, the land, nature, your family, Grant and his family, life, teaching, learning and the joy and zest for life. We are fortunate.
100% second this. In 2020 I moved out of the city and bought a piece of land in the countryside. First months I drove there weekly just to walk around and look at the views, eventhough there was no buildings, electricity or water yet on the property. Sure, you can't own the sunset in the horizon but there's something magical when looking at it on your own ground.
You are located in Marquette? The company my wife works for has a warehouse in Grand Island. On a couple of other videos , you have products on your pivots from her company. This video also had a slap arm from her company. Great to see.
I love that the guy came to you and wanted to give young people looking to farm a shot. That's awesome. Keeping the legacy going. Where our food comes from is a totally mystery to most people they rarely give a thought to. We live in a land of abundance in America.
I enjoy your videos very much. My daughter Laura, who was named after my Grandmother, who lived on a farm, is sort of a farmer. She is an elementary school teacher, so she helps to "raise" kids. Your family farms more acres than my friend of 54 years, he does around 720 acres, but by himself. He is looking at retiring...............sometime. We are both 66, I retired this past July. Keep the videos coming .

You are such an inspiration, amazing and you inspired us to create our TH-cam channel with how incredibly natural and real you are. We went through a really tough patch last year, we lost our farmland and ended up renting a really rundown patch of land. Its nothing like what you have but creating the videos is spurring us on and keeping us going. One day, you never know but we might be in a position to have a farm again. We can only live in hope.
Always happy to see land being sold to young farmers rather than to developers to pave it over with a housing development, which is what is being done to pretty much every farm in my area .
My fiirst land purchase was 36.6 acres (almost the same as yours) while in college. I took a partner to be able to buy it, and eventually bought him out. He is still a great friend. Hope you have as much success with yours as the last 45 years brought me and my family.

It`s the same as in Germany: Small farmers give up, and big farmers goes bigger and bigger. You and Grand farming with heart. But it would be harder and harder do so many work with heart ...
